Enkidu (the hero..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enkidu ) has again done a superb job. Every fan of Babymetal owes it to himself to visit his blog!! ( http://du-metal.blogspot.dk/ ) Recommended not just because of the BM translations, but for his witty notes on the difficulties of translation from the japanese.

The rate of ticket sales is so impressive..... I'm not sure if its just me, but on my PC the ticket offers from Cologne (Köln) are not active... does that mean that they have sold out there?? Rewatch "My First Heavy Metal" from november 2012: Koba knew in advance what was going to happen!! (and my first thougt at that time was that if there is any justice in the world this is going to explode..... Amuse Inc. is in business to make money, and would not hype chidols like this if they could not back it up..... and they could!!!!!!!) BTW: Do anyone actually know the true identity of Koba? You have all been very good at finding BM videos - I began watching in jan 2012, and at that time only a few hundred videos on youtube was marked Babymetal - not more than it was possible to watch them all - nowadays a handful is posted every day, and thousands of completely irrelevant videos are tagged with Babymetal (don't give assholes views or comments!!) Of the things I have seen from miss Nakamoto's youth, the Karen Girls songs are the best (professional production and all that...) First the opening song for Zettai Karen Children, Over the Future (and if anybody has the link for the HD version of the concert version I posted on page one -please post!) For some reason youtube is overflowing with BM fanvideos - but many of them are less than inspiring. Congrats on the thread! Babymetal makes good performances, and I sincerely hope that some of their newfound fans (obviously not from here...) will check out what idols are about - and maybe understand enough to begin to respect the genre! I have liked Babymetal very much for the last couple of years (discovered them a month after 2NE1...) and do not really believe that they can break through to the mainstream (but they are beginning to be noticed by mainstream listeners..) - but if they can reach a fifth of Metallica's name recognition they will be a roaring sensation, and will probably change the game for pop-metal bands... funny how metal unites some of the most humourless, self-concious musicians; and some of the funniest.... unfortunately mainstreamers usually only know the dark, humourless types (those OctopitMark Schrayber is mentioning on jezebel.com: quote: "Somewhere in Norway there is a metalhead in corpse paint standing in a forest crying tears of blood." In my opinion the importance of Babymetal lies in their chance to show mainstreamers that heavy is much more than angry boys, and fat old guys in bodypaint - and to show rockers that idols have something to offer. I do not agree - YG is a record producer, and I don't think he should communicate directly with extremists..... Also: it seems that the problem had it's root inside a K-Pop fandom and since K-Pop generate a LOT of income and publicity for Korea, the Korean Police should be interested in taking this to the courts. And the countries that could have been affected by riots do have a legitimate interest in public safety, so they have an interest too... (as a lot of you will be aware some of the countries who have a lot of Blackjacks are also home to people who are just waiting for an excuse to incite riot, we do NOT want to see Our Ladies be that excuse...)

When I started posting on H8 I was new to modern (that is, not text based) social media and agonized over how to use the +/- buttons... my conclusion was,and is, that they are a public display - and as such a + equals a pat on the shoulder (and I use it for anyone who post interesting stuff/insightful comments but a - equals showing themiddlefinger, and I have only done that on two instances of severe disrespect for Our Ladies - trolling is to nice a word. General nastiness is to be expected when feelings run high (ie: everytime fans are involved in someting) but this goes beyond simple(!) death-threats - someone were trying to start a real shooting war, and the consequences could have been disastrous... and I'm not talking diminished market shares, but people dying (I'm from Denmark, we now what happens if irresponsible people provoke that kind of feelings) So it is necessary that YG (or maybe better: one of the record-publishers trade associations) addres this matter legally - I don't want to see 12 year olds in jail, but it MUST be clear to all fans that this is NOT ACCEPTABLE! Why? If its published to a wider audience we need to know....

YGE are cool - and they want their fans to feel the breeze....
