This is definitely one of if not Seo's best era. I really like how she gets a lot more focus now. More so to the amount that she deserves. I'm also really anticipating Lion Heart. Hopefully it'll be out soon, though hasn't SHINee's repack been pushed back? Hopefully it won't interview with our girls schedule tbh. The channel Soshi episode one was also good. I'm anticipating the rest! ~

I agree, though I j ust want to be ready if it happens. Especially with dispatch and various other media platforms watching her. I agree, Fany will really struggle it isn't an easy song to sing, and we can bet on her getting quite a few of the highnotes. Only Seo and Tae should be getting them, only they can manage them without badly straining. I think lion heart will be the better song anyway, so I'd be really happy with a Seo-centric Lion heart. Well they gave Seo a lot of lines in party, so hopefully they'll deliver on lion heart as well.

Seo has slayed this comeback visually, and it's nice that she's finally getting the amount of lines that deserves. I don't know about how strong of a song 'party' is. Although i shouldn't have I expected more, though it is, i guess, a catchy enough and feel-good summer song. it also seems to have gotten alot of support which is good also. You think seems like it'll be Fany-centric, so hopefully SEo will get a lot of lines in Lion heart. I think that'll be the best of the two upcoming title tracks tbh. This site doesn't agree with my internet tbh, it's always difficult to get on here, and to actually load anything. I thought that check was quite good though I've seen many whining about it being a filler. I'd agree that party could be regarded as such, though check is for the most part a solid song. It's on of their best in ages. It really raises anticipating as well as expectations for the overall quality of the album. It's also nice to see Seo trending more and getting more attention. I agree when someone said that even though the Holler era wasn't that great, it did show another side of Seo and thus bring in more fans. There are still quite a few rumours in regards to Seo dating also. So as said prior we should all be on guard, in case others, like you-know-who attempt to spread conjecture again.

I agree tbh, year by year she gets less and less. Though most like to claim that TTS get all the spotlight, when it's only taeny and yoona. Her individual career success is our best bet, and we should all endeavour to support her as much as possible. I'd be incredibly surprised also. Hopefully we both end up surprised.

I know that she'll fight, though she still won't take precedence. Hopefully she will receive more roles in musicals and drama's also. A solo mini-album from her would b really nice also. That's the main area to shine in though, sm gives limited promotion even to the activates that most of their idols do outside of the group. The big ambition will be what drives her to hopefully huge success as an individual rather than being lost in SNSD. She did, all we can do is wait and hope that she does get good activities then lol. I have no doubt that Seo will achieve what she wants to, it's just sm's backing...

I agree, it really begs the question: when will Seo ever get the attention that she truly deserves. To some extent though Yoona and taeny still get far more opportunities handed to them overall. We can hope, though that is unlikely to do much to change the situation. How long should we and Seo ultimately be forced to wait. Seo isn't a not so popular member though, she's third or fourth in SNSD depending on who you ask. Seohyun is one of the more popular member's.. and yet she is still treated like this.

Sm have a long history of wasting potential, and not capitalising on things that could actually make them more money. AS well as increasing the profile of their acts. Seohyun is generally liked and deserves much better than what she receives, though sm only listen to their favourites. I honestly don't know how they decide, seemingly it's going by who they find to be most attractive. Or who's willing to do favours. it honestly is personal preference on sm's part, and it'll be hard to change it tbh.

they do it to anyone that isn't a favorite though tbh, and it really kills the potential of each respective entertainer. they shouldn't only promote Yoona and taeny. I'm glad that she has also, though it still isn't enough she deserves better. It is incredibly annoying how the favourites get seemingly everything though, people have turned on Sica and many now claim that it was her fault that she was kicked, she wasn't allowed to be indecisive, if that is even true. Though seemingly Sulli is allowed to be as indecisive as she wants. All we can do is hope that she is able to successfully fight for the good opportunities.

hey boo! ~ I hope that you are doing well also. ~ it's just a shame tbh, she's their second best vocal now, and she's sill likely to be shafted. Hopefully for at least one of them she'll get quite a bit of screentime and quite a lot of lines. though that's really up in the air. All we can do is hope, though it does seem unlikely. Aside from that the songs do all seem like they'll be pretty good though, which is something i guess. I haven't been excited like this for a cb in a while, i just hope that ti can live up to everyone's expectations and deliver. I honestly feel that we likely will be incredibly disappointed by the line distribution. I know right, i don't understand how some can just expect it to happen sometime in the future, it needs to happen now. It's just incredibly irritating. SM's refusal to give the spotlight to anyone other than their favourites, is one of the main reasons why they have so much conflict. We've waited for so long, and yet it still doesn't seem like we'll get it... all we can hope for is a solo I guess, for her to get spotlight pertaining music.

I am putting hopes into her individual activities also, though we all know that she will have to fight for most good opportunities. Seo isn't one of sm's favourites. It isn't really being negative, it's more like we're just being realistic. i agree for the most part on enjoying the cb though, hopefully it'll slay all of us. Not long till 'party'. It's jsut a shame that genuinely talented members are cast aside in favour of ones that retain dubious 'talent'. A drama sometime soon would be nice.

I agree for the most part, which is a shame tbh. She deserves it now, and soshi aren't getting any younger. We've waited too long tbh. It honestly seems unlikely that she ever will get many parts tbh. When is the time for her to shine though, if not now then when. I do agree though, it seems unlikely that she will get the amount of focus and attention that she deserves. It'll all be on Taeny and Yoona as per usual. That isn't really in reference to what people are saying, more so in regards to how this thread is much more active now and how it had developed. I'm essentially saying that it's nice to see how we've grown and developed this thread to what it is now. I only wish that I had the opportunity to be more active here. It is nice, Seo receives quite a lot here now..

The teaser for party for Seo was OK, though it would've been nice if we could've seen more of her face tbh. The songs all seem promising also, and hopefully we will get a Seo-centric track, and not just tones over-saturated with taeny. It's also a shame that Seo was injured on RM and thus couldn't fully participate. Many have said that the content would've been better if it had been spread over two episodes. Hopefully what some are saying is true, and the hype is truly massive. Hopefully they'll be able to sell as well as many are predicting. Seo also performed well at Tokyo, she's always one of the best. It's also nice to see how this thread has developed since I and several other's endeavoured to bring it back. It's nice seeing how the seomate community on this site grows.

Seo looks the best in the image teaser for the single album 'party', and for the teaser of all three songs. Honestly, none of the songs particularly stand out to me atm, though I'll reserve a judgement until we can hear the full audio. Mr.mr proved that a perhaps promising teaser can be something of a let down. Hopefully SEo will have a lot of parts this comeback, she's 2nd best vocal, and honestly deserves more than she has generally gotten in the past. Especially in the Lion Heart teaser section she slayed.

Seo continues to prove all of her doubters wrong, she genuinely has much more presence on screen and in photo's now. it truly is nice that we get to see how she improves and grows as a performer and entertainer. I agree she works her way up roles in order to consolidate more of a secure anf grounded base, instead of immediately demanding big roles. Another musical and a role in a drama would be nice soon though. I'm not worried either, Seo can take achieve anything she wants. The pixie Lott collab thing looked interesting also, it's a shame that Pixie isn't what she was a few years ago, her songs are still pretty decent. She looks so flawfree here tbh.

Seo is a rare idol, wherein she improves with every photoshoot. She now commands more presence and is definitely becoming significantly ore photogenic then she was before. Though all accounts state that no picture is comparable to how she looks in real life. The celebrity magazine shoot proves this. It is unfortunate that her lyrics didn't make it on, however we know - going by other sm idol's - that it will just motivate her to try harder and to eventually come out with a more polished and honed skill and product. Unlike where some compose and write lyrics merely for the sake of it, often to questionable levels of competence. Seohyun is finally getting more general attention, and seem to have many more casual fans now, which is good. Hopefully the general fanbase here can be substantially increased. It is regrettable that I am not here as often as I want to be anymore.

I've just seen this. They obviously all do to some extent, there's still money to be made from being in the group, and that will take precedence above all else. No one really has of yet, SM has been trying for years, and others are beginning to want popularity in China. However, similarly to the situation in Japan barely any of them will achieve commendable success. We shall see if they actually do 're-strategise', the majority of their policies and endeavours have not been overly flexible. For the most part the EXO plan wasn't within their control; the members that left have damaged their chances significantly, though it isn't as if other's have no potential. Song Qian has a considerable amount, Zhang Li YIn did in the past, whether or not she still does is debatable. They've barely done anything to break SNSD into China. It is still very probable that they will make an effort to push them there. Out of all of their acts f(x) is perhaps in the most indeterminable position. Many agree that they could have success in China, perhaps it is not too late. It is after all unfortunately their policy, and YG is the complete opposite. Some argue that it limits the group and its members in the long-term, and I'd be inclined to agree. Whilst some may arguably say that Yoona is the face of SM, and one of the most popular idol's - which she is - is it a popularity that over-shadows SNSd. That would be doubtful. It's also a reason why some have wanted to leave, or feel as if they are perhaps being neglected; however with the exclusion of the 3 EXO members. I'd be inclined to agree, they want Yoona to become an actress of the scale to become something of a Female Kim Soo Hyun or Lee Min Ho, perhaps they'll succeed. Though it is unlikely that it will massively benefit SNSD as a whole, the same could be said for Song Qian and f(x). Suju overall are a questionable group, though Siwon could attain more popularity in China it's doubtful that it'd ever each KSH or LMH level. Like you said any popularity is all dependent on activities there. Perhaps Seohyun and taeyeon also, though I'd be unsure as to what the others could do outside of SNSD in China. It's a shame though, I have seen the performances and agree that they're quite lacking. It'd be nice if more than two members could put effort in, and prove that they are still legitimately the top for this comeback. Though I'm not anticipating much. They are on a decline - that's fact. However on the backend? i wouldn't agree. They are still incredibly active throughout various areas of the Korean Entertainment industry, SM is not one to just throw them aside, they will milk them until there is nothing left. It seems rather unlikely that they will lose anything more than they have already, unless lesser groups somehow have back-to-back massive hits and displace them in all areas. I am well aware of what it entails. It's a natural course for female idol groups, Big bang are fine, for more than anything due to the fact that they are male. The double standards allow them to still be capable of achieving more peaks supposedly, and growing. Whilst SNSD have become stagnant and are declining. I'd agree on SNSD disposition for the most part, however it is very contentious as to whether Big Bang is still a quality act. Their most recent releases have been quite honestly awful, and their music is now mediocre and uninspired. They repeat the same old. However, in spite of everything, has much changed for them. There likely never will be again, I;d agree on that. There are too many now for any single group to be able to achieve such dominance again. I would say though that much is contradictory, not just in regards to you - though perhaps partially - more so through the way in which sm is supposedly money hungry, yet will think nothing of throwing away one of their biggest acts. People have to decide on which one they want to bandwagon, they aren't opinions that can both be incorporated. Many here however blindly idolize faceless Koreans opinions, it does grow quite tiresome. Hence why I'm scarcely active anymore. I'm anticipating her Birthday party. ~

People that have actually worked with them have said that they are, and thus I'd be more inclined to go with what they have said. Rather than mere speculation for the most part. I wonder where many have gotten this seemingly common viewpoint from. It is rather unlikely that TT won't get the most spotlight, though hopefully Seohyun will get alot this time. They already have started that though, TTS has been a focus for several years now. Of course it will be a shame for the other girls that still want to perform and release music. Why would it be, kpop in general is putting its attention on China, SNSD won't be any different. No where has it been stated that they are at the back-end of their career, in fact that is rather unlikely, certainly in terms of how much they'll be forced to work. It isn't late at all, they've barely begun significant Chinese promotions for the majority of their acts. The intention with Yoona's drama was to push SNSD as a whole as much as it was herself. SM is not a company interested in the individual. To them the group as a whole takes precedence. Don't just go by assumptions from people who for the most part desire to see SNSD fail. Do you truly believe that SM would give up the potential fortune to be made in China. If T-ARA can so can SNSD. It's a nice bag, that brand is incredibly popular in the UK.

I agree, they should start to shift more attention to TTS, and give them more cb's. Though it'll be interesting to see if SM do actually begin to take SNSD's break into China seriously as a group, and not just for Yoona. They could become a big and established group in their own right, though I agree that they need good songs. Holler just didn't cut it.

I agree with the Holler era being meh in terms of photos, though she looked her best in terms of performances imo. If only more that had her badge were actually active here. I agree, however non badge voters shouldn't be voting. It is a problem when people who ave no intention of getting a badge seem to just vote for the sake of it, and thus end up manipulating results. Hopefully more will be here by this time next year, we're still growing as a seomate community. Many of the badges were questionable, particularly for SNSD.

I agree, there's no point in us getting involved with petty quarrels and such. As a fandom we don't involve ourselves in anything like that. The possible concept of the comeback seems really interesting as well, I'm excited though also anxious to some extent. I just hope that everything turn sout well and that we get lots of Seo.

People do come here that don't stan Seo I think, because that won user used to. Though he was banned, I think lol.
