I've only ever seen clips of under a minute from any Perfume show (aside from the European tour). Either fans in Japan are incredibly respectful or security is incredibly tight.

I just thought everyone would be interested to see this, um, rather big performance. http://youtu.be/HIVYhZhyPIo I think radio controlled glowsticks should be mandatory at all Perfume shows from now on.

You HAVE TO see the multiangle view of this performance. During the part when Nocchi vogues moves from each year, there's a video screen playing the video clip of the very same move at the exact same time. http://youtu.be/EW13dddcOOM No studio version of this track, however a very talented person named Tekn07 worked their magic and somehow created something just as good. Listen below and get it at Soundcloud:

Sorry for the delay. Isn't it an amazing album?! Eventually, I'm going to do a mashup of Super Music Maker and Love at First Sight (Kylie Minogue). It just begs to happen.

I'm curious if people here have seen the Kirin Summer Night performance from 2012. I'm not going to mention why, in case people haven't seen it, but it's one of the most incredible things I've ever seen.

When I first got into into them, I didn't listen to much else for a year and a half. They totally do that to you. (I'm including MEG, capsule, COLTEMÖNIKHA, KPP, and that Nakata-produced Ami Suzuki album, in that time, btw)

Just finished: Bride of the Century (I know, late to the party on that one). Overall, rather disappointed with it. Following now: Fated to Love You King of High School Trot Lovers Marathon suggestions, anyone? I really prefer my dramas that way.
-
Was it worth it?
-
I'd suggest Polyrhythm, Love the World, 575, Secret Secret, Natural ni Koishite, Ceramic Girl, Spring of Love and Fushizen na Girl as good songs to start with.

I'll own up to the fact I'd never heard her before this song, but I'm a fan now. Now I'm looking for any lives of the song and found this one. She's so good, it's almost scary.

Well, I thought he did a good job. He wasn't playing the most sympathetic of characters.... -

You know, honestly, I almost said fandom instead of cult. Too funny. (More below) Sorry I haven't introduced myself here (the site or thread). I've kind of been bouncing around from topic to topic, really happy to discover there are other sane people who enjoy K- and J- (and C- for that matter) Pops. AND, at least as far as I've seen, don't spend their time hating. We know all about that, so I won't bother to elaborate. Anyway. On to important matters. Yes, Eric is absolutely my bias/IH, followed by Min-woo. But they all seem like such laid back, professional guys (who also appear to genuinely enjoy what they do), every one of them has my respect. I've only been obsessed with Hallyu for a couple years (but I was into J-Pop a few years before that). So I've been wildly catching up with every band and artist usually as they released new material. For me, that meant starting with This Love/The Classic and working backwards, Venus/The Return, etc. This Love was such an unexpected concept, I'll admit it took a little bit of time to recognize how brilliant and ballsy they were being. If I'm not mistaken, it was Min-woo who choreographed it, but, IMHO, Eric steals the show. Not to say M and everyone didn't own it. So now I've 11 years of records, dramas, and reality shows to pore over. And, from what I've seen so far (Que Sera Sera and a couple reality shows including Running Man), the Eric bias is pretty secure. Any recommendations of the band's (and individuals) essential songs, TV, films, etc? (Really enjoyed M's recent mini-album, btw.) -

I've got to come clean that I'm relatively new to the Cult of Shinhwa, so my opinion isn't based on all that much. -

Oh yeah. I agree. The super-exaggerated features and Botox took a long while for me to get comfortable seeing. Eventually, though, I did and found her to be – at least through the editing of Roommate – a very sweet woman. As for Eric, maybe this one shows off that cut a bit better: -
I thought I was the only one. Enjoyed the others, don't get me wrong, but I think this is the strongest yet.

I guess I was out of the news loop and just found out about Bom leaving. I can't say I'm all that surprised at the outcome, given the pervasive viciousness of society in general. But I think it's especially disappointing because Roommate did a great job of "developing her character". By that, I mean: I grew to understand, sympathize, and respect her much more than I expected. Even if the "worst" possible explanation is true, the backlash is unwarranted. Glass houses and all that. Nobody, indeed, deserves this. -
Damn, you are sharp. That pre-dates my exposure to 2PM, so that was cool to see.
