My biggest turn off in anime is when the eyes are 70% of the face and the dramatic v line. I know theres alot of animes like that but the really extreme ones bother me it makes it really hard to watch. I think character designs do matter in a story. Everything has to fit a role, like what they wear, what they do, how they look. i really like mature designs with a stylized finish like samurai champloo and cowboy bebop and i liked the first psycho pass even though the main characters face really bothered me. I cant stand moe looking or lolicon characters. I like parasyte and they do have a diverse looking cast sort of. Lol And Peach girl is centered around a girl who looks different. MayBe soul eater also, they are pretty varied maybe not that much facially but each character gives off a different feel. Oh and how could I forget kill la kill, it is pretty fanservicey tho.
