  1. Thanks! too bad I don't like Hero as much as when I was young. I tend to avoid them as well, which is why I was hoping people in this thread would share some good/great MC covers (if they even exist lol). *Will be waiting for Josias lol*
  2. Hi everyone, I was wondering if you knew some good Mariah Carey covers (from professional or amateur singers, it doesn't matter). Since many of you are MC fans, I was hoping you could share some of your favorite renditions. Please, please, don't troll me by posting Park Bom's Hero/All I want for Christmas is you or Sandara's Butterfly. Thank you.

[TRANS] Year-End Review Round 2... "Top 10" Acts which electrified the music industry in 2013 The K-Pop crusaders fought their battle alone again this year through their global stages. Through their addictive music and performances which captivate all 5 senses, they electrified fans all around the world. "King of Songs" Jo Yong Pil lit up the fire in the hearts of compatriots by fervently singing "Return to Busan Port" in Japan, Troublemaker's HyunAh and Hyun Seung created a stir in the music industry with their 19-rated stages. In the premises, which is the act which electrified and brought the highs to the masses the most this year? We did a survey of netizens through research site "www.tillionpanel.com" with this question - "the most electrifying act". The strongest act was Troublemaker's "There Is No Tomorrow", taking the 1st place with 19.4% of the votes. In 2nd place was SNSD with "I Got A Boy". They had received strong support through their image-transforming and strong hip-hop performances. This poll saw 10,083 participants (age group: 10s - 1%, 20s - 22%, 30s - 38%, 40s - 26%, 50s - 10% and others 4%, gender ratio: 48% male: 52% female). ... #10 - TVXQ, Yokohama concert performance in Japan which attracted 150,000 people (3.7%, 373 votes) Electrifying point: They gathered a 144,000-strong audience in just 2 days, ticketing revenue alone is 16 billion won They have completely conquered the zenith of the Japanese market. When all the top stars are looking towards Tokyo Dome as their target, they sold out the tickets for their concerts at the 70,000-capacity Nissan Stadium in Yokohama, Japan for 2 consecutive days. The concerts, which took place on August 17 and 18, gathered about 144,000 people, and the ticketing revenue alone was approximately 16 billion won (9,800 yen for all seats). At a time when there is a lot of attention on the "Hallyu Crisis" in both Korea and Japan, there is even more significance in these history-making concerts. During this 3-hour long concert, the fans all rose from their seats and chanted "Tohoshinki", showing a fanatical response. The scene of the 70,000 audience members waving their red lightsticks was really a grand and overwhelming sight to behold. FYI #1 - Troublemaker "There Is No Tomorrow" #2 - SNSD "I Got A Boy" #3 - EXO 'Wolf" #4 - Jo Yong Pil, first Japanese concert in 15 years #5 - After School "First Love" #6 - Ailee, tear-filled performance at the 2013 Melon Music Awards #7 - G-Dragon, stage with Missy Elliot "Niliria" #8 - Park Myung Soo-Primary, "I Got C" on Infinity Challenge #9 - IU, "Red Shoes" cr: mug_ping, naver.
  6. Alright then, I'll wait thank god I stan other groups because if f(x) was my only bias group i'd probably be full of frustration.
  7. Thank you. One month of filming, that's all? It seems very rushed, or maybe it's the norm for chinese drama productions? Also, do we know about the synopsis/storyline or the character she might play? I see you have a Taeyeon badge lol I don't think I've ever seen you posting in the GG thread?
  8. I mean Soshi could come back in January and TVXQ right after (bc I don't think SM would make TVXQ and SNSD come back the same month) but it's unlikely since TVXQ's 10th anniversary is at the end of this month it'd be more logical to have them make their big comeback in January. Plus Yunho and Changmin already got new hairstyles/colors. Anything new on Vic's drama rumors?
  9. I don't think they said January but early 2014 (so maybe Feb?). I think Jan is for TVXQ's comeback.

Hey everyone [TRANS] Was it a match between national representatives? The Korea-Japan Cool Kidz match which left everybody on the edge of their seats *only Changmin-related parts translated On this day, approximately 1200 members of the audience were gathered at the match venue. Although the production team had initially planned to only gather 750 audience members, approximately 25,000 people applied, creating a 33:1 competition for the seats. Chicako Ikeuchi (46), who revealed that she was a Max Changmin fan, said "Although I started watching Cool Kidz because I like Max Changmin, now I know the members such as Kang Ho Dong, Julien Kang, Kim Hyuk etc. I really appreciate how they smile so earnestly and work so hard they are sweating profusely." ... When Max Changmin caught the ball, the crowd's roar got even louder. The fans shared his pity when he groaned when he missed the ball or made a mistake. ... [TRANS] The John Park-Choikang Changmin "Dumb and Dumber" pairing. "Cool Kidz" John Park-Choikang Changmin, "Spying" on JYP's newlywed home On the Dec 3 broadcast of "Cool Kidz", the John Park-Choikang Changmin pair, which reminds one of "Dumb and Dumber" showed off their "black hole" image and caused much laughter. John Park, who arrived first at JYP's house, didn't go into his house immediately but instead started spying first. Choikang Changmin, who arrived 2nd, went "Ya, what are you doing" and followed John Park's actions by climbing the wall. Suddenly, the security system got activated and set off a "beeeep beep beep" sound in JYP's house. The 2 of them said, "We got caught~" and came down from the walls, acting like they were innocent. John Park then mumbled, "JYP does not seem like he has sasaeng fans", causing much laughter (He's questioning the need for a security system haha). Choikang Changmin then saw that John Park had brought along toilet paper rolls as a housewarming present, and commented that he (Changmin) had not prepared anything, expressing his predicament. John Park then held out the bag of toilet rolls in a matter-of-fact way to Changmin, saying "then hyung, you give this as the present". Changmin asked back, "then what about you?", but John Park just gave a blank expression (meaning he wasn't worried about it). The crew then asked John Park and Choikang Changmin, "Do you guys know why people give toilet paper rolls as housewarming presents?", both of them replied "We don't know", "Because if they go to the washroom and it will be difficult if they don't have toilet paper", showing off their "Dumb and Dumber" side, causing much laughter. *in Korean culture, giving toilet paper rolls signify wishing you good luck so that everything in this new home will “roll out†easily and turn out well. cr: mug_ping, Naver. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mp3Akf4NcHI
