I was not responsible for that guerrilla concert idea at all -- they decided to do it all on their own! But one thing I do know -- they (RBW and Mamamoo) ARE aware of this thread, and international Mamamoo fans in general! So perhaps your support and suggestions on here were noticed!

I loved this one! Super impressive vocals, and INSANELY cool harmonies and arranging! They executed their vocal parts perfectly, and although I already expect a lot from a great group like Kara, this song and performance really impressed me! CONFIRMED: Mamamoo is making the MV for their new album now.

This, times 100000. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using a popular producer or producer team, but when their music is starting to sound the same between all of the groups they are producing, and it's sucking the uniqueness out of each group, that is the point where I think groups need to find someone else. I admire a lot of these "power house" producers, but sometimes, their goal seems to be "let's make this group have our sound" rather than, "let's adapt our production style to best suit this group." There is a HUGE difference in those 2 things, and although neither is really wrong, I much prefer when a producer brings the best out of a group -- rather than putting "their own best sound" onto a group, regardless of how that group sounds or what fits them. The other thing is plain chemistry and compatibility with a producer / writer. Not every group is gonna gel with every producer and songwriter. Many times going for the "hot" producer, and not the "right fit" producer seems to be the path companies take to "ensure a good charting song" -- but it can be a disaster too, especially musically and stylistically. Some of the most used and successful producers that write hits for tons of groups are chameleons -- they morph their style and production sound to fit each group they work with, and it's nearly impossible to say "oh, there's another _______ produced track" when hearing it. They always capture the uniqueness of the group, and bring out their absolute best. Sure, they have little signature elements present in each of their productions, but it's always 2nd to making the group shine through. THOSE are the really amazing producers that I look up to and am working towards trying to be like every day. I would LOVE to work with a group like BESTie -- tons of vocal talent, the ability to tackle many different kinds of concepts and musical styles -- but most of all, they haven't nailed down a signature sound. I don't mean this as a knock on them at all -- they definitely have a signature vocal blend, a unique group dynamic, and are certainly not lacking personality. Their tight harmonies like in Excuse Me might even be scratching the surface of "their thing." But I think it would be an absolute blast to work with them on a collaborative basis (I have no idea if they have done this before, but I kinda doubt it) and help them really find their own sound, and run with it! The best way to do this is to either find a new producer that already has a sound along the lines of what they want and are looking for, or find one of those rare chameleon producers that can get the absolute best performance out of them without making them sound like everyone else. The one thing that I'm certain of -- BESTie is absolutely capable of finding a signature sound, and knocking people's socks off with it.

They said this comeback was gonna be different.... what does that mean? No idea. Musically? Image? Vocally? Dance? We will see, but they did definitely say it would be different
