1. Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu - Just... a very heartfelt, genuine, but sad love story. My kokoro. The back half takes a bit of a soap opera turn and people have mixed feelings about the ending, but eh. Overall, it's a good journey. 2. Ao Haru Ride - A story about evaluating the person you were in the past and the person you are now, and what it's like to get to know a person all over again. Strongest points: If a character makes a bad choice, the author makes them deal with the consequences. I enjoyed how conflicted it made me feel because nobody is written as a one-dimensional villain... they just make bad choices that hurt each other, and good choices that hurt each other, and try to figure it out in the end. Ah, tis life. 3. Orange - As the story goes on, you realize that it's not just about the heroine changing the past, but about finding the courage to change herself and live without regrets. Story has good art and pacing. It's short, but the author establishes the suspense early and well. Yet again, some people have mixed feelings about the ending, but like 90% of it was definitely good imo. Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu had a movie in 2009, Ao Haru Ride's came out last December, and the Orange film will be released this December, so that should say a lot about their popularity.

fuhhhhhh, the more I listen to "My Type", the more I love it. Now that I'm used to it, I actually really love blond Junhoe. Going full bond rather than half helped too... anticipating future mv. Anyone know how their distribution of male:female listeners compares to other idol groups? Last I saw, it was like 41% male : 59% female, which seems reasonably balanced to me. It'd be awesome if it keeps edging closer to 50:50 tho. I'm not fond of comparing iKON and BB, but if there's one thing I wish the two groups could shared, it's how they have support from both male and female fanbases.

VOCALISTS Jinhwan - Along with the rappers, the final "founding member". The oldest of the group, but also the tiniest. The one with the higher, smoother voice. He and Junhoe handle most of the ad-libs. B.I's the leader when it comes to work, but it's generally acknowledged that he's the mom who keeps all the kids in check. Looks pretty when he cries. Yunhyeong - Looks like Korean Zayn Malik at times. Parents own a bbq restaurant and the whole family's basically full of smiley, considerate, hospitable sweethearts. Has a pop-rock kind of voice - he's not at June's level when it comes to belting but has held some power notes in the past. Compared to Jinhwan and Donghyuk, his voice has more weight to it - he's like a higher, non-husky Junhoe. WATCH HIM GET PUNK'D AND YOU'LL UNDERSTAND WHY YOU SHOULD STAN. Donghyuk - Sweetheart of the group. Has the smooth, sweet, whisper-y R&B voice. (Example: his lines right after Bobby's verse). Best dancer. Can speak English. Former student council president (lol elementary school days). Junhoe - Deep, husky voice, power vocalist, does all the runs, etc. Often called "sassy" bc he says shit like "For me, yaja time is all the time" and reacts like this when everyone fails at playing sports: Maknae that never was because even though he was biologically the youngest (before Chanwoo) he didn't do that cutesy, submissive shit. Chanwoo - The newbie slash child actor and the maknae that towers over everyone height-wise. Played child version of Lee Minho in Boys over Flowers and The Heirs, and was a child version of someone (Changmin) in TVXQ in some other video. Ha, when you think about it, Sinosijak and Winnin are their only real club tracks.
