I love Fancy - music, MV, all. I personally don't care whether it's JYP or BEP, though JYP's sound isn't always to my taste. My only misgivings with BEP this time around is that the song is still too high for the girls to sing live consistently. But most Onces enoyed it. The girls enjoyed it. We're already at 300K+ in terms of sales, so the album isn't losing money or anything. I'd chalk it up as a win, personally.

Late but this! I really wish they could let the girls sing on their vocal range, that's BEP only flaw for me.

Fancy's digital score was quite low. Only 37.4m. What a shame, one of their best tracks looks like it's going to be one of their worst performing, initially at least. Hope it can at least maintain a score in the 30's for a few weeks. Won't look that low in the long run that way.

The fact that they already went to HK several times for MAMA and Music Bank, and they make/allow Tzuyu to speak Mandarin in speeches and write Chinese in her instagram post shows that they have an intention of reaching out to the Chinese/Taiwanese/etc fans

yeah. more than that X is more profitable, so they should do X thingy, i want them to have a world tour simply so that more Once can attend their concerts. i think we're forgetting that the purpose of a tour is to visit places where the fans are, so fans can see them. we're all thinking too much from a company perspective that dome tours have 50k attendance each so they should just farm that. we should also think from a fans' perspective that it would be much easier to go to a concert near them rather than Japan, even if it's just a 10k capacity venue.

I'm kinda hoping that they announce Twiceland tour dates at the end of their dome tour. They'd already announced some Twiceland dates and venues by this time last year, or at least rumors of venues, so the silence is kind of worrisome. Twiceland Z3, with some select US venues like Hawaii, might be of interest to rich J-Onces.

 

 

Stadium tour > Dome tour > everything else. Still, there's some cachet in saying that you're holding concerts in US or European locations, even if the venue capacity are relatively smaller. After all, the reason why some AKB members have migrated over to kpop is due to their desire to promote globally, beyond just Japan, or even Asia. Having said that, having US / EU concerts can't just be about Western Validation if you really look at it from a business perspective and not just a media playing opportunity. There must be tangible objectives such as X% increase in regional albums sales to justify the expense of money and time promoting in these locations. Groups like KARD or Dreamcatcher are some of the groups that explored / are exploring different markets for fans, though I don't know how successful these ventures have been financially and am rather curious to know.

Yes even small groups do international tours, Twice can do medium concerts in some countries. Although those tours must be exhausting, Japan will always be a better place. Imagine doing 10 concerts for all USA to sell 50K tickets when you can do that in one night in a Japanese dome with less expenses.

Exactly this,but most kpop fans not aware of this. They thought US tour or world tour (medium venues) are bigger than Dome tour just because it's Japan

How about Metlife Dome in Saitama and Sapporo Dome too. I hope after Domes, Twice will target stadiums. How about Japan stadium Tour probably Nissan, Saitama and Ajinomoto stadiums? I know concerts are held in Nissan. Not sure about the others.

I might be wrong but when my jpop fan days , only 5 domes are counted so I'm honestly not too sure about the saitama dome.

 

Stadium is not easy, possible now but not easy and must take time. it's better to take longevity to do tour every year. Also even if they hit stadium probably for only 1 show for start not a tour. TVXQ do 2 days show after many years. Not say it's impossible but I hope they take their time.

yeah and only in 5 concert. If JYP wants a nice number, I look forward to JYP make a "World Tour" for TWICE and ending the tour with are domes in Japan. At this time World Tour is very easy, even a average group also can make a world tour, as long as it goes through some Asian and American countries, It will be called "World Tour". But I doubt JYP will do it, because JYP doesn't seem to care much about it, bc now the Japanese market is huge with TWICE and there is a lot to do here. Maybe, JYP will only do a US tour for TWICE.

Japan tour is usually separated from the world tour. They will most likely bring Twiceland for world tour and has Japan stop (doesn't have to be Dome) but with totally different setlist.

 

I think they will add more countries for next Twiceland, hopefully.

 

As for Dome Tour if they have another chance then hopefully will add Fukuoka Dome too.

I also excited if and only Twice can do another Dome Tour this year. Maybe another 5 stops where in they will visit other Japan Domes like Metlife, Sapporo and Fukuoka and of course Kyocera and Tokyo Dome. Or they would hold their 2nd Arena Tour but with bigger venues like Saitama Super Arena.
