Be based on simple statistics is stupid, i'm sorry. I might agree with you on the fact of delusional fans but here we are talking about something else, isn't it? I have many gay friends, some of them have no problems in admitting it but others nope. In my personal opinion we live in a society that is still problematic about this speech.
