Picked up a ps4 pro. Had a lot of trouble signing in because I had 2 step verification on psn sign in. So I try sign in on pc and can't do that either. Didn't have my phone because it was stolen. Had to phone a number and got it resolved. :) I've had 2 ps4's die now. Pieces of shit. Still play a ps3 regularly that's never had any issues.

Playing God Eater 2 right now. Going for the plat and the monotony is real.

Watched their vids way back when. Stopped watching because I didn't enjoy their commentary style.

Finished World of Final Fantasy. Incredibly cute game with chibi characters and chibi monsters and tons of featured character cameos from past games. I really enjoyed it and would definitely pick up the sequel should such a thing ever come to be. Gonna try Nier Automata now. Heard nothing but high praise and I can't. Only problem is that it makes my ps4 go into overdrive and I am paranoid about that since I already had one ps4 overheat into oblivion. Doesn't seem to do that with digital games, but when I use a physical game, then we got a problem. Which sucks for me since I prefer having physical copies.

E3 just went by and as per usual, I'm intrigued by remasters and remakes of games I never got to play when I was younger. Pretty much any JRPG announced was a plus for me. Such titles such as The Last Remnant, Romancing Saga, Ni no Kuni and FF7 but I will probably wait on that even when it does come out because I wanna know the price and how long we may have to wait for any subsequent parts. FF8 was also announced. Heard through the grapevine that that one was never gonna be re-released and lo and behold, it is here. Don't think they did anything besides polishing it up a bit, but that's fine by me as I never got to play it before. I'm gonna be pessimistic or w/e and say I was not really intrigued by Avengers. Probably gonna look and play alright but I'm guessing your gonna have to pay some sort of extra fee to get dudes on your team or something. Don't know what Cyberpunk is gonna be about but the fact Keanu features and that it's CDPR, I don't know how it can possibly disappoint.

Well, my Avs are out in the second round. Can't be too disappointed though. Super young team and quite a bit of cap room. Still have to decide what to do with backup goalie, what to pay Rantanen and maybe provide a little clarity on the expansion draft upcoming. Maybe something along the limes of Erik Johnson+ to Toronto for Marleau (cap), Kadri and maybe Brown. Who knows. We might be moving Tyson Barrie as well. Offensive dynamo but a tire fire in the D zone and a bit on the smaller side physically. Makar was a revelation and only time will tell how good he will get. Sucks we have to protect him now in the expansion draft but he showed he was ready for the bigs and that's never a problem.

Finished up Tales of Vesperia. Great game, but tons of missables. Definitely a guide game if you want trophies. Trying out Tokyo Xanadu Ex+. I read it's like Trails and Ys and that's all I needed to hear. Been playing it for a couple days and can't quite get used to the battle mechanics.

I also don't think Mike Smith was the problem in any of the games so far. Flames are getting shellacked by the Avs speed and they just aren't matching up to the intensity the Avs are bringing. I thought the Avs Defensive play would be an issue but so far it hasn't. Johnny Hockey has legitimately been missing. Same with Monahan. 1 chance or so each game is not enough for them and as an Avs fan, I hope it stays that way. I just don't think Johnny Hockey has it in him to play the tough grind of playoff hockey. Gotta say, that extra shenanigannery after the whistle is not sitting well with me. I'd be worried if someone like Reaves or Wilson were out their, but I don't think there's any on the Flames that intimidates the Avs the way Zadorov intimidates them. Didn't mind the officiating tonight. Even thought a penalty or two on both teams were probably not penalties even in the regular season. Nice to see Makar get on the board in his first game. Looks like he's gonna be a good one. That does burn his ELC so now we have to protect him in the upcoming expansion draft.

Second time in the last few years Avs had the top pick but then top out of top three. Fuck the Oilers.

Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Super old school and super awesome.

Well, my Avs made it. Came down to the wire but got it done. Didn't think we were gonna make it when we had an abysmal month mostly due to inconsistent goal tending and defensive play. Making the playoffs plus potentially getting the 1st overall pick and getting D Cale Makar either this year or next year. Things are looking bright in Avalanche land.

Playing Disgaea 3. In the process of duping Statisticians to make it easier to grind to 9999. Still got quite a ways to go, me thinks.

I didn't have a problem with it. Of course, it wasn't my team that was ruthlessly and utterly betrayed.

Hopefully my Avs are starting to heat up. They were putrid for awhile there.

As long as it isn't some retread has been then I can see them doing well. I'm of the opinion that the goalie resigning wasn't that bad. Little pricey but now they have to find a way to convince someone that Talbot can reclaim his past glory. You gotta think trading Hall for Adam fucking Larsson of all people and the Eberle trade turns into waiver fodder. That is not a good look. They have a few good pieces but their boat anchor Defense with even more boat anchor contracts are weighing them down. You would think someone of McJesus's skill would be able to mesh well with a plethora of guys, but apparently not. You don't even have to think as fast as him, you just have to somewhat keep up. They put him with Drai and Nuge a lot but that just depletes the other three lines. I can't imagine the mutiny if they get someone like Jack Hughes on top of the 30 other top picks they've had in the last few years.

Got Platinum for Trails of Cold Steel. Decent game, lots of dialogue. A gripe for me is the first game ends in an absolutely terrible spot and I don't have access to the second game at the moment. Hopefully soon. Guess I'll go on to Fairy Fencer F or something like that.
