it's not about forgiveness, it's about awareness of her acts. personally now that I know how she's acted towards Mina I don't think I would ever feel comfortable supporting her or her work again. of course, harassment is never the solution, and I'd never condone that. it doesn't really help that this public apology is quite late and comes after an initial denial (the infamous deleted 'fiction' story) and a (imo) lacking apology in person where it seemed like she was less interested in expressing regret and more into shifting the blame away and gaslighting Mina about her experience. if this helps Mina with dealing with her trauma, it's worth something, but... yeah. Jimin just has to do better

surely there must be a better way to deny the claims against her than a vague one word instagram story that basically trivializes all the personal things mina shared. and sure, a lot of things are up in the air right now, but mina's suffering is not; she provided ample proof of it on her instagram. that deleted story didnt help ANYONE, including jimin; if anything it just reinforced the idea that she doesnt care about mina's mental health whatsoever

mina did say that at least one of the other members spoke up in her defense on one occasion... it's meager but at least she had some support

honestly if someone is opening up about their struggles with personal issues, mental health and suicide, and your first reaction is to call it 'fiction'... yeesh, some soul searching and therapy and SEVERAL servings of humble pie for jimin please. and I hope mina can find strength moving forward, and her fans can support her. it sounds like she's already taking steps to heal so I'm wishing her best of luck
