Since both June and Yoyo were the ones hung out to dry during that ridiculous, pointless mock elimination, I have high hopes that in a few hours we shall achieve #JUSTICEFORYOYO. I know he's not on everyone's necessary members list and I'll be the first to say that his singing is still mostly meh, but you gotta hand it to the guy for basically accelerating his relevancy from "the fuck does Korean Zayn Malik do in this group exactly?" to winning over people on the strength of his likability alone. That, my young friends, is the power of charm. And Yoyo's got it in SPADES. YG, Song Yunhyeong is ready for his television closeup. Get him a fixed position on a variety show, stat.

I know, the rock-solid confidence he always had on stage evaporated sometime after "I Want You." Pure travesty that he's been made to doubt himself without being given constructive criticism. They also prefer that the new Big Bang album drop tomorrow but like many things in the YG universe, it ain't gonna fucking happen lol. Let's not overblow this no-Yoyo thing. From the beginning of M&M it's been clear that he has been given YG's stamp of approval. This is one of those moments where we have to remind ourselves that YGE is a huge corporation and they have many behind-the-scenes ways of quantifying fan response to their trainees than a bunch of kinda-trending Pann posts. No way Yunhyeong would've gotten the amount of airtime he received in M&M if YGE wasn't reasonably assured of his marketability.

Nah, this was with staff, the day he went to visit SMTM. I believe the exec/director in charge of YG's trainee department was also eating with them. Any configuration of iKON that doesn't have Yoyo is bullshit, especially if the lineup retains Donghyuk or Chanwoo.
