If you know any decent PC repair shop in your area, it might be worth going there so they can check it. I know it will cost money but this laptop has such great specs that imo it would be worth it because this GPU really deserves to run flawlessly.. They can advice you better than a couple of OH members who don't know the exact situation...

I would feel terrible if these driver things messed up your pc so much that it wouldn't work any more. 

 

Even if it is a hardware failure like a GPU malfunction or something, then you have warranty since it hasn't even been a year.

You say it hasn't been a year yet? Do you have warranty because I know MSI should have provided you one, contact them or the store retailer you bought it from and tell then your problem. They should be able to diagnose your problem. The issue I am thinking it could be your bios needing update (that's what I needed before I could play at 'good' state' but the other problem could be your motherboard that is overheating 

 

EDIT: i just did a quick search on MSI website and https://www.msi.com/Laptop/support/GE60-2QE-Apache-Pro.html#down-bios this should solve it as the bios was modified last month. Assuming it is the GE60 2QE APACHE PRO 

Thank you both! I contacted customer service, and we're trying to work it out. If all fails, my warranty ends in 2017, so i'll hopefully be able to get it fixed.

Don't update your drivers it would just create the problem again I believe. Just roll back and try to play the game. If you can than is the driver problem

I rolled my drivers back & it just made it worse ;____; im so hurt. It hasn't even been a year and my PC is trashed. I'm just gonna update them again.

Just asking. You mention that you play GTA decent but did you see any fame rate drops? It could be the game problem. Any other gamsa you saw dropping in terms of fps? I do a graphic card driver roll back like what Miyami stated before to check. But otherwise I'm guessing it could be the game fault.

I actually can't play gta anymore because the graphics are horrible ;__;

OK check your graphic device and drivers also can you tell us what your laptop model is both the model and manufacutre. It could be your graphic driver. it could also be your Nvida control pannel. Both of these factors may have an affect on your system (at least that what I had before).

I have an: MSI GE70 2QE Apache Pro

hmm strange.. It may be some sort of driver issue. Do you have the latest Nvidia drivers for your GPU? (or if you updated drivers, maybe rollback to the previous ones?)

 

also what are your CPU clockspeeds? Does it go up when u are gaming? (or does it, say, stay below (@1.00GHz)? I heard sometimes the cpu can't reach their full speed due to outdated/unsupported drivers. My best guess at this point is that is could be a driver issue.

 

also, are u running the game in windowed mode by any chance?

I updated all of my drivers a few days ago :/ no windowed mode. I'm not exactly sure, but i think the last time i played, it stayed below 1.00GHZ. I will come back to confirm!

Just watched the last special ep and im surprised I didn't ball my eyes out. So happy that their fans got to witness their fave group performance. whether it was through the television, or live....It counts for something

XD It's alright. I too like AOT and can't wait for Season 2. My fav would be Naruto and FairyTail but Dragon Ball Z, Death Note and Hunter X Hunter are some good recommendable animes as well.

yup! I've seen death note 

AOT is pretty good but calling it the best anime would be a reach. 

There are quite a lot that can beat it.
