The Billboard article pointed out something I completely missed -- the "hello stup-i-d" is actually referencing anonymous online commenters user "IDs." I love the way she delivers "I don't believe it." This release really shows off how she can give a song so much personality and character through her vocal delivery.

Some people seem excited, but I can't help but dread this. If they go all out, it'll dredge up bad stuff from the past. If they go easy on her, I have a feeling her antis will get mad and dredge up everything themselves lol. I don't mind Lee Joon-gi being there, maybe it'll distract the cast and shield her from them doing their worst. I wanted her to go on Omniscient Interfering View with her managers. I Live Alone could be fun too, though I don't know her living situation. At least it's not Radio Star.

Shaun wrote a message of support for the upcoming REDMARE concert by Red Velvet on instagram. Been a while since I've been on here. I hope she chooses the My Ahjussi drama. I get the concern over the age gap, but it's the PD of Signal and she'll be playing an adult in her 20s with her own life and concerns. I don't mind love stories with big age gaps so long as they're handled well, and the synopsis makes it sound like it might be a more slice-of-life/contemplative approach. The grandmother angle has a lot of potential for bonding storylines too. I also adore Lee Sun-gyun, so there's that. He's about the only actor I might find compelling in an ahjussi love story. There are so many worse projects she could pick, while this one has the potential to actually be critically good (Signal PD + Lee Sun-gyun + decent writer). And bonus, less possibility of crazy shippers because he's married and older. To add: I think it's ludicrous that fans on twitter, etc. are so desperate for her to turn down a drama from the writer of Another Oh Hae Young and the PD of Signal and Misaeng. Like if this was Secret Love Affair (even though that writer/PD combo are on another level), would people want her to turn it down just because the subject matter is controversial? Idk it's just weird, there can be more to dramas than shipping. Just hope all this commentary doesn't affect her decision. I want her to do slice of life, dammit.

I'm so excited for her reality show with hyori. I was looking forward to the show anyways, but this is an unexpected bonus. It sounds like a laid-back show, I'm so excited. I like subdued variety/reality set in beautiful places, hopefully it's less stressful compared to more active, chaotic variety shows. Also, "the first guest is a group of five girls who are close friends and job-seekers." I foresee so many heart-to-heart talks.

Oh, 1thek finally put up subs on the music video. Idk why they took so long. I don't think IU would feel wronged by whatever Oh Hyuk said (from what I can parse together - something about commercial vs having fun?), she said herself they had a lot of disagreements due to musical taste when they were working together lol. Seems like that tweet was taking what he said and putting it against his joke about wanting to beat her on the charts as if that discredited him or something. I remember Yonghwa told her Friday sounded too commercial (which I understand, probably why I love it, oops) whenever she asked him for his opinion, so this doesn't sound like a big deal. I swear I've replayed the Palette performance like 50 times so far. Now I'm more sad that we didn't get more televised 23 performances. I hope she brings her purple mike on every show.

Ok I'm here to repent for not respecting Full Stop, because I had the album on shuffle in the car today and it hit me hard. Even shed a tear.

Lee Jigeum is titled dlwlrma (as the english title) on itunes, so cute. Palette is actually one of my favorite tracks on the album, which surprises me because I initially thought it didn't have the huge impact of a title track. I've actually replayed it more than Jam Jam (Jam Jam needs to be savored anyways.)
