OMG!!! Taemin watched all of Apink news!! He even mentioned the scene where Naeun was hacking at the watermelon. OMG, how precious is this couple?????? Oh and Minkey didn't give Taemin a second to breathe, they teased him so much. Poor baby... lol

She's definitely getting prettier by the day. lol Too bad she's so awkward, but that comes with maknae territory and she's sure to outgrow some of her nervousness. It's funny, when you watch interviews or MV and performances she seems like the eldest. But as soon as you watch her acting naturally you know she's the maknae. Even though she sometimes is smarter and acts more mature than her unnies, you can still tell. lol Oh Hayoung, what a cutie♥ I can not to the very depths of my soul believe there are still people who think she's ugly.

I only say it because the comparison brought negativity to them. And I only say that because that's what i've seen. It's great to be compared to a popular group. But... it ends up sucking when some people in that popular groups fandom take the comparison to mean that you want to take their spot or push their group out. I've seen many comments like that and it's upsetting to see as a fan. Especially since Apink is a younger group and they also have a smaller fandom (which means less people defending them). When I saw them compared to SNSD the first time, I thought it was great. SNSD was the first kpop group i'd ever heard of and is probably currently the most popular girl group...I even had Gee on my ipod. But I didn't like the negativity that the comparison brought the apink girls. It's really not that serious, I just hope that people can see them as who they are. awwww Eunji's eye smile♥

You're right, it's not a big deal. I don't really see many positive comments, but to be compared to such a popular group is flattering. I just wish they could be given time grow as idols before being compared. I can't wait to see what they bring to the table for their comeback, I hope they can meet the super high expectations. lol

I know a lot of PinkPanda's are also Sones, but I don't think comparing Apink to SNSD all the time is fair to Apink. When every little thing they do is compared to SNSD to the point where they can't even have a video that doesn't have comment from defensive Sones or people saying that they are like the second coming of SNSD; I just don't think that's fair to them and how hard they've worked. Eunji sings and everyone says, "oh she's as good as or not as good as Taeyeon". Naeun is on WGM and everyone says, "oh they're just trying to bring back YongSeo." Bomi dances and everyone says "oh she's as good as or not as good as Hyoyeon" They release a song and it's compared to an SNSD song... It gets tiring after a while. Obviously girl groups will be judged against each other. But to compare one group to another older more popular group endlessly...that just doesn't seem fair.

I guess everyone has their opinions... I didn't really think she fit in with the rest of the group. It seemed to me that people only started saying good things about her after she "left". I don't follow SNSD so I don't know what Seohyun is like, though I did see her in one episode of WGM (the horror special), but you can't judge someone's personality based on seeing them once. Also... why does apink have to always be compared to SNSD members?? Can't they be looked at on their own? What does it really matter that Yookyung was just like Seohyun? Seohyun isn't a member of apink.... i'm not trying to be antagonistic...i'm just saying.

yeah, weirdly I thought Bomi was ugly at first. But she grew on me, and now I think she's really pretty and pulls off sexy better than any other member. maybe this is bad but I didn't get why people were so upset that Yookyung was leaving. I didn't think she added very much to the group, I thought the English parts added to the songs were super awkward. I also thought she didn't mesh well with the rest of the group everyone else was messy and obsessed with food and flawed and it seemed like she tried too hard to be perfect. Maybe that's just how she was...but it didn't fit. I was able to accept the too cool for school attitude with Naeun because she showed that she was silly and weird in her own black on black on black way and she was messy and very much like any other girl. But Yookyung never really fit in for me.

I only ever know about comebacks when the actual song comes out. Usually for groups I don't follow intensely, that's the only time I care. I don't know about other people though. I think if you want to make a topic you should wait until July. But I don't really know how this site works or how comebacks normally work.

APINK got nail art for new MV’s preparation ----OOOH!!! The couple case!! I didn't even notice. aww she's still using it!! cute!!!!!!!! It's so not her style, lol. And she's still wearing that tracksuit from APN,lol. She wears it like all the time I swear. If it were up to her I swear she'd just wear track suits and all black outfits all the time. I actually laugh while watching WGM, the only reason she's slightly dressed up is because those are the options the stylist put out for her. I'm glad she's dressing comfortably though (Taemin is always more dressed up that she is). Naeun is just so laid back. lol

I think the reason for that is definitely because of the sheer amount of idol groups out there. I say this as pretty much a complete newcomer to kpop... but everyone seems to have their group that they are complete stans for and any other group comes second to that first group. So new groups tend to be greeted with either animosity and judgement or suspicion that they are trying to take your groups places (girl groups always seem to have a harder time than boy groups). Honestly kpop is definitely one of those industries where there just isn't space for everyone. Every year there are new groups, and you can be a fan of multiple groups but your time and your energy will mostly go to whoever your first love is (as long as they are still good).

true, I first heard apink on Pandora radio. I instantly fell in love with My My and then I don't know. But I was lukewarm at most about the group until I found out about APN. The closeness and realness of the members felt like a breathe of fresh air. They broke all the preconceptions I had about idol groups in a really good way. I really really hope they use their current wave of popularity and do APN4 I don't think we could fall in love with a new member without being properly introduced to them.

Also do you guys really think Apink News will have a season 4? It'd be the best thing to promote the "new member", but don't you think the schedules will be too busy? Especially with Naeun doing WGM...wouldn't that overlap too much?

Well actually I love Chorong, Eunji, and Naeun equally. ...well really all the apink girls... but Naeun has a special soft spot in my heart because of how strong and humble she has been even with all the negativity that has always been thrown her way.
