Overall the album is really really good. It's the most cohesive and flow well. It surpassed Tear for me. And BWL is currently my favorite title track after Spring Day.

To be honest, I don't buy the "they decide not to use hook song" theory. I've long been worrying about this album's result before it even came out, because I could see the huge decrease of the panda fanbase during this 1 year hiatus (don't give me the "they aren't real fans" talk, they were fans who contributed to their sales and popularity, that is fan to me). Girlfriend's song isn't hook song by any means, but their song was such a big hit, btw I only use Girlfriend as an example because they have similar concept. This isn't about the title song, Plan A just screwed them over, plain and simple. The first warning sign was the many many complains about not returning sooner, then came cries about the rise of the new girl groups, and now we barely see much comments in those once popular forums, this just pains me a lot... Honestly I love this album, there are many good songs that I listen to everyday, few weeks ago it was BPL and oh yes, but for the past week I'm really addicted to Fairy, such a beautiful song... I'll always love Apink and I'm pretty sure I'll never have any interest in any other kpop group. I just feel like due to Plan A's strategy failure, Apink missed their chance to become the next big thing after SNSD... SNSD is THE established legendary GG, they could have as many hiatus as they wanted and not worrying about losing too many fans. No other GGs can do the same.

 

I always see ppl here claiming this is how old GGs work, but look at all those old GGs now, kara/f(x)/4 minutes/tara/miss a (or even 2ne1)... yeah some of them are still out there hanging, but they are just hanging there, without the opportunity to ever rise to the level of their previous success. Once you accepted the fact that you are an old GG and stop trying build on your current success, the only way to go is down, because many other new GGs are out there waiting to replace you.

 

Now that I get it out of my system, next month I'll get to see them in person again, and I guess the only benefit of the situation right now, is that I don't need to spend too much money/effort to squeeze my arse into the first few rows or worry about not being able to get the ticket. Anyway, I'll always love them, but I won't forgive Plan A if they potentially screwed my angels career over because of their stupidity and greediness.
