All this whining about Ghost in a Shell is pointless and not even worth complaining about. If had a problem with Scarlett's casting they should have done more about it when it first became known.

 

 

I mean she was announced the role well over a year ago. I'm not keen on the casting myself, but I know this is how Hollywood works.

Tbh I'm more mad that this movie is directed by the guy who did Snow White and the Huntsman

I'm just gonna say I have no idea who NCT is, I've only noticed based on the amount of threads around.

So i just found out an hour ago that my grandmother has passed away. I am sad, but I didn't cry. And I cry over the silliest things....maybe its because, a large part of me believes, that it was honestly better for her to go now...she was 96...and living with dementia. The last 3 years of her life has been one living in a constant state of confusion and anger. It always hurt to go see her like that, although I loved the far between moments when she was lucid...she had the best stories to tell....

 

I'm gonna miss her. But I also hope that the end of my life is not like it was for her. I don't wanna go out like, withering away....

My condolences to you. I hope she at least lived a good life before passing.

I'll give him credit, his give no fucks attitude has made this whole deal entertaining.

Bernie would be my pick out of all the candidates. But knowing how everything is going, I just don't see him becoming president. Still he lasted much better than expected.

I'm thinking of getting Rocket League, since I've heard a lot of good things about it. Not to mention now there is gonna be cross-play across platforms.

Do people like Leonardo DiCaprio so much because of Titanic? I've seen him in movies, and he was... ok.

For some people, yes. Though for me not so much. I thought Titanic is over-hyped and at the time I assumed Dicaprio's career wouldn't go any further than that of a teen heartthrob.

His appeal seems to stem from how he takes each role and puts the effort in them. At worst he maybe considered miscast, but I don't see a lot of negative in his roles.

Well guy is 41. Compare to a lot of other actors, I think he's done okay.

I mean its the one actor most of the world was waiting to get that Oscar.

I mean I've been going to bed at 6-8 am lately with no real excuse so night shifts aren't a problem for me.

If you can handle great. I don't mind staying up for a couple of nights. But after 3 days, it just wasn't for me.

Can you explain what this plus and minus points thing is for it? I was watching the tournament on twitch today and the announcers kept talking about these values for certain moves. Like this is -1, that is -5, a +2, etc. I had no idea what they were in reference to and never heard it when i watched SF4 tournaments.  

I'm assuming this is referring to frame data. Unless you are a fighting enthusiast, its be hard to understand. And I will admit, even I have difficulty understanding at times.

Frame data is basically the amount of frames a move comes out. So plus and minus is just to explain how much advantage or disadvantage a character's move might have over another.

Believe me, there is quite a bit of fighting terminology out there, and the best way to learn it is by observation. Granted it takes time and patience.

I was planning on pre loading it on steam, is it really that broken still?

I'm playing it on PS4, but from what I heard its not much different on steam. Though I heard a patch is coming up within this week.

Yes unfortunately. I had to a cover a shift due to a coworker going to a wedding out of the country. I don't know how she was able to do it, but some people were born to be night owls.

Been playing the recent SF5.

I will say its one of the most accessible Street Fighter games yet. But aside from that, this is a game your better off waiting to be completed unless you are a diehard fan. I mean there is a just a lack of content, the story mode is just pathetic ( a more robust one is coming though). And even if you not into that content, the online portion really feels lackluster. Capcom really dropped the ball here, this should of been a $40 game, not $60 at least until all the content became available.

After 3 weeks I can understand why some of my co-workers hate the night shift.

But its done and over, for now at least. So the same as usual around here?

In the middle of sending my hate letter to Pledis, one that I was saving for KKS, but there is room for another.

Honestly I've been expecting this, it was just a matter of time. Though I wish it could of ended better. I'm already close to being done with AS, but this pretty much seals it.

Jungah can try her luck going to some other agency. Though the best she'll do is maybe some musical roles. I think likely she'll just continue whatever business she's doing. Probably find some nice guy and just retire from the industry. As a fan I wish she can do better, but sadly even I have to admit she won't be able to go far.

Anyway, RIP to After School
