I think if you don't feel like you can control your urges, then you should stay well away. It just makes sense. Like i've never once had a cigarette in my life, and I never will. I know I have total control over that, so i'm confident I can overcome anything else. Right now there's a baggy of MDMA on the shelf above my bed. It's been there for 3 months and i've not once thought about using it. I feel like if you can't have that level of control you shouldn't even try drugs at all, because they can mess you up bad.

It is a really fun buzz, but the other side is I don't like having to top it up all the time and keep taking more throughout the night to keep on that level. I think I prefer MDMA to it, maybe.

So is a McDonalds, a KFC, too much salt, etc. etc. even apples can be bad for you. Moderation is the key to a long life and 'healthy' use. I'd say I use MDMA twice a year, at most - and only at festivals. Cocaine a little more frequently, maybe 3 or 4 times a year at most, again big occasions. Weed, probably the same as coke but i've never paid for it - I only ever have it if it's offered, and i'll refuse it 9 times out of 10. My health and my mind are fine (or no worse than they ever were). I'm not someone who would push drugs on people, but I wouldn't dismiss someone wanting to experience it, because it is quite enlightening towards yourself.

She lives near enough for us to be realistic together, I think. It's like 30 minutes away if I drive there, it's just that she can't drive so it sort of limits meeting up a little (and there's no buses or trains directly between us). I would love to invite her for coffee, since she loves it, but i'd feel weird being there not drinking coffee or anything. Maybe I can fake it.

I feel like I might have missed my chance to not be single. I've been talking for two weeks with someone and we really get on and connect... but she's just so busy. I worry that if i go much longer without making a genuine move that i'll get stuck in the friend zone, and openly confessing i'm really into her over a message or call would be a little weird and i'd probably mess it up and she'd be scared off even being friends. waaaa this sucks. it's been so long since i've even been into anyone i'm out of my depth.   I am just such a single person.
