Anyone else has this feeling that 100m, 200mil doesnt seem that surprising nowadays as groups keep reaching that easily??

 

Back to the days where Gee / IATB / fantastic baby reached 100m / 200m. It was such a feat but nowadays BP/BTS just make it seems like easy job

It’s ironic how Twice isn’t really doing badly, and is even doing so much better than 90% of kpop MVs but they’ve just been taken out of the competition entirely...

Twice is doing just fine. They just have less support from western but japan, taiwan,hong kong are on their back. They are like the 3rd one.

 

And twice forte is on other areas so i guess it is fair.

 

Edit: if twice is sad, lets think abt all the other 90% of the kpop MVs. None of them will come near to BTS/BP/twice. Momoland did come close with two hits but looks where is them now..

KTL back to gaining more views. Its view count was significantly slowed down in past 2 hours. Could be due to blink went to stream the live performances

DDU4x wil def reach 1 billion this year, they need to keep it above the 1 mil avg per day and they are doing 1.5 mil avg per day rn. Looking at how their other MVs are doing rn I don't really foresee their averages to drop that much over time since all their MVs are having higher averages than last year. The question is on which day they will reach it! But yeah it's insane it wasn't long ago we were celebrating those milestones and know we are doing it for double the numbers hahaha wow!

Omygod multiple MVs have been taken down due to some fake copyright claim like Blackpink's DDDD, Solo, Twice's Like Ooh Ah, Likey and Yes Or Yes, and BTS V'S Singularity which is gonna affect this alot cause most of the ones that were taken down had gotten hundreds of millions of views. And because the videos were straight up deleted their views won't go back to what they were...

I doubt these official release couldnt get back their views. Youtube has a way to reinstate views

Blackpink's Whistle has hit 300 million views, their 5th MV to do so and in 2 years, 4 months and 26 days (878 days)!! Congrats Blackpink and Blinks!!

One of the best debut honestly... and both debut MV has reached great milestones

If their daily views stay as they are now, DNA will beat DDDD to 600 million by maybe a day or 2 max, but DDDD is ultimately going to dethrone DNA afterwards as the most viewed KPOP group MV! Both groups deserve congratulations, Blackpink for continuously breaking record after record and for keeping the longevity it has, and BTS for holding onto the title of most viewed KPOP group MV until the end of 2018 when everyone kept saying that DDDD was surely gonna pass it (it may still keep this title until late January)!!

What are you guys opinion on releases from EXO-K and SNSD Oh!GG. Till now EXO-K releases were counted as full group releases and SNSD Oh!GG as a SNSD subunit but their comeback(s) can be taken as both group or subunit depending on how you look at it and I'm not sure were to place them in :[

Exo k is debatable but snsd oh gg is obviously same as snsd (after member leaving).sm might make it sounds like another subunit but ppl know they are the same

Honestly, i think Blackpink and BTS are on same level. DDDD might just be one-off phenomena as we dont see Solo having that much of view (debatable as only 1/4 of the members).

 

Having said that, am happy cause DDDD is strong contender for 1st kpop group MV reaching 1 bil down the road.
