I haven't posted here in such a long time, so I don't know if anyone recognizes me. When I first got into k-pop, a friend sent me a video of SHINee's song Colorful. Jonghyun was instantly my favourite and the whole reason I got into it in the first place. I've gone through several groups and biases in the past, but Jonghyun always seemed to remain a constant for me. His personality and that unique and fierce face of his and his one of a kind voice stood out too much for me. I bought his first album when it came out too. I remember being so happy for him. I've not been into k-pop for a while now, but I always have had a special place in my heart for him. Just about a half an hour ago, I was reading through some music articles about some bands and happened to scroll down to the bottom with recent articles and read that Jonhyun had passed away due to a possible suicide. My heart stopped completely. Right now, I'm just confused. I feel a massive loss, but the confusion overrides everything. It's hard to believe. Jonghyun, I hope your soul is at peace now. Thank you for everything you've done for us and brought. You are an important part of many people's lives. I hope you all are doing well.

How would you guys feel about a Discord server for the people in this thread?

It's really frustrating because none of my Japanese friends know many kpop groups at all. The only ones most of them were aware of were old groups like KARA, T-ARA, BIGBANG and SNSD. The only groups that actually had some amount of relevancy.
