I don't know abt you but i'm damn proud of Taeyeon (well i'm always proud of her lol) this single is nowhere close to "I'' promotions which were barely promoted too, but still managed to achieved 30 all kills. When Tae solo debuted ppl were downgrade her success, saying is due to the hype of being her first solo, now with Rain w/o any promo she still managed to do this well, i'm sure if she was promoting the success would be alot more look to Gfriend(i'm so happy for them) all thanks to promotions. Tae is making a name for herself in the industry and this is what i'm more proud of, pay attention to the comments being translated "Trust Tae's music" "In SM i like Tae's songs the most" " Ofc the song is #1 is Taeyeon" "The songs are amazing/good" "She can sing any genre" Ppl trust in her songs and SM knows that, this is why they choose her to be the first in this project they knew the result would be good, imagine if it was another singer and did poorly in the charts, i'm sure many would lose the hype abt this project, netizens would laugh at SM(let's be honesty when songs top the charts suddenly the song is a masterpiece for k-netizens even to i-netizens now) with Rain good results they only have praises for her, and are saying if the quality of the songs is like Rain then they're looking forward to what SM has in store.
