They were my first male kpop group, and are still one of my top favorites, so I'm still so distraught about this news. :'((((( I can't say I didn't see it coming though. I was worried what would happened to them once they started to enlist after the "Curtain Call" concert, so I kinda expected them to disband, but I'm still a bit bitter lol. I wish them all luck and success though, especially Joon. He's always wanted be an actor, and now he gets to focus on that instead of devoting his time to a moderately successful group who's popularity is stagnating. It's a logical course of action that was to be expected. I hope the other members can carve out good careers for themselves too even if it's not in the spotlight or in the industry.

Why on god's green earth would GOT7 appear on their show? lol. They've debuted already and have a stable fanbase, so they wouldn't gain anything by going on the show lol. If anything, it would be 5live, but I'm skeptical as to how that would turn out since they're supposed to have a "band" concept. Perhaps there's a new group, or JYP decided to change 5live's concept? Otheriwse, I'm perplexed as to how the JYP vs. YG episode will go down lmao.

Episode 4 confirmed what I already knew tbh; Hongseok is the best vocalist of the group. It'll be a true shame if he can't manage to get in the group.

Well, he's an actor, so it's not like he'll be brought up frequently. This thread is about idols after all lol. Anyway, he's defo straight imo, just a strong supporter; which is great. Am I the only one who gets vibes from Taecyeon of 2PM? Along with Chansung, they're the only ones from 2PM who ping me. I feel like guys of his sort and other male idols who aren't flamboyant, or haven't exhibited any stereotypically gay (or homoerotic) behavior, are always overlooked solely because they "act straight". It's funny too, cause most gay dudes that I'm personally associated with irl don't exactly behave like Sungjong or Heechul lmao. It reminds me of this video I watched. Two brothers came out to their parents at the same time, and while they said they expected the more "flamboyant" one to be gay, they never expected the more run-of-the-mill masculine son to be gay. It's even moreso annoying that when you do suspect someone who isn't stereotypically gay, people are all like "LMAO! WTF!?" "Not a chance!". It goes to show how conditioned stereotypes are in some people; including some gays themselves lol.

Jo Kwon seems to be the most likely candidate to come out first amongst idols. With him openly becoming more and more flamboyant, I think it's only a matter of time, and I'm sure nobody will be surprised when he does . Even Koreans are certain he's gay lol. Heechul would be next in line, but he seems a bit less confident in regards to coming out imo, although he does tease a lot. I just hope that the first idol to come out will be well-received..... lol
