I've taken music theory courses, and have been actively taking music courses in general, every year since I was in 1st grade, and I still think it's R&B, so please stop with that lol. It's R&B initially based on Taeyang's vocal styling and arrangements, and then the instrumental arrangements starting on second verse place heavy emphasis on rhythm and pretty much confirm that it's an R&B track lol. Genre has more to do with overall arrangement than it does solely chord progression lol. You can't use chord progression alone to prove that it's not R&B. R&B isn't just a box that can't feature a wide variety of melodies and chords. It's Pop-R&B perhaps, but with Taeyang's heavy, R&B-influenced, melismatic riffs and runs all over the place, you can deny that the song at LEAST features heavy R&B influence lol.

OT3 - Yunhyeong - Junhoe - Hongseok - Jinhyeong is the ONLY way to go. I'll be bitter with any other turn-out lol.

It is actually, based on it's emphasis on rhythm and it's standard R&B vocal arrangement. Especially when the beat kicks in starting at the second verse; It's undoubtedly R&B. That can't really be said about the rest of the album though lol.

YG doesn't even do R&B anymore tbh lol. SM does it better than them with EXO and the occasional SHINee. Most of YG's work is pretty much just pop with hip-hop influences nowadays sadly. Taeyang's ENL is one of the only proper R&B tracks to come out of YG in recent years, and it's sad lol.

I kinda get more vibes from Daewon than those two, but those two are the other two I might put money on. I get slight vibes from them too. We need more stuff from them to judge though I think. There's only been a few fan-meetings and a radio show to go by.

Jinhyeong deserved that last spot over Junhoe based on those solo performances. Jinhyeong's was amazing while the other two's were a mess lol. I literally cringed during Yunhyeong's (as much as I love him) and Junhoe's performances, but I genuinely enjoyed Jinhyeong's. If anyone has any doubt of his vocal potential, that would be the performance to link them to.

How did Junhoe win over Jinhyeong? At least for the solo performances..... His was shit lol. Jinhyeong's performance was like a proper performance..... I actually got really into it and was enjoying it lol.

I was specifically waiting to watch Jinhwan's team dance performance cause I LIVE for Deux's "Look back to me", and they absolutely SLAYED lol. Both tablo and San E gave them 100s lol
