There is a thin difference between actual hatred and preference when it comes to Kpop scene. If i hate something, i will avoid it. For example, if i hate grape juice, i will not seek out grape juice and rant to the owner of a supermarket that they shouldn't be selling these because it tasted vile and is ruining the whole store. If i am prefer with something, i will seek out that one thing i am obsessed with and goes my way to make people know about it. If i am obsessed with grape juice, i will cheer when i see one, and buy it. When you 'hated' something in Kpop, no one goes their way to avoid it. No, they go to SEARCH the article related, and bash away all of the fans, or even make a post specially to bash. When you 'like' something, you do not seek out your fave's articles, read and support, you only put them on your sig, barely goes to the artist thread and instead wasted 75% of your time searching for something you hate to bash. And both are done with severe obsession, more to your hatred than to your likeness. So you can see why Kpop forums and news sites are one of the most hateful place.

Ignoring that i didn't say they didn't want to be on stage but is simply trying to keep the damage low considering that Only-13 is much more prominent in SK.

You all keep forgetting that this is Korea, the home address of Only-13. Even that fan acc who said there was a Only-13 in the crowd is named 'Janine', and unless i was wrong, is most likely not Korean. You keep on saying that this is only a minority but how minor is it in Korea? How do you know, that when all 15 of them met in one room discussing the song list, No one goes 'How about Henmi? We want you guys, but those fans are going to boo you all over the stage'. And before you all say 'They should've marched on with it anyway', how do you know Henry or Zhoumi didn't say 'Oh, maybe not this time/not on Day 1. It's a comeback after 2 years, let's take precaution as to make everything perfect because this is both a welcome stage for 2 and a goodbye stage for 2'. Look, i am just as disappointed with the lack of Henmi appearance, but this is DAY 1. Not even Day 2 or 3, where maybe they planned something else. Maybe there is going to be more stages then. Maybe there is going to be difference. Maybe in a different country,w here obviously there is little to no Only-13, they'd have more SJM stage and maybe have them join in their stages and maybe sang Shindong or Yesung's part. ...And if this conflict yet again reach them this time, i have some feeling that Leeteuk might also pull an Eunhyuk, or hell, Eunhyuk might pull a himself and yet again explain the whole SJ and SJM.

Which male idols do you think are gay?
LetterL replied to cold soba's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
Donghae because booty that fine cannot be straight I could think of a couple but what confused me is that most of them time, 'gay' and being flamboyant is often equated. I mean, i know not all flamboyant males are gay, and most of the time, the culture of close male male friendship in korea is rather misleading. But according to rumours, SNSD's Yuri might be bi, and i think Key might be one as well. Heechul is probably just flamboyant imo.. -
MAMACITA. And some side of Shirt and Midnight Blue

Which male idols do you think are gay?
LetterL replied to cold soba's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
Hi! First time commenting and a long time lurker here! This is something that has been boggling my mind for a while whenever i read this topic. I only have questions so be free to answer, and the people i wrote here are purely for example purposes. 1. Gays are not openly accepted in Korea and yet it was beginning to be accepted (mostly by young people from what i read and was told) and LGBT people began to show up in SK media. However, ofc if a celeb is to come out, they are most likely to be lashback and if they are in a group, the group would receive as much hate i imagine. Also, i suspect that from the traditional views, the country still has the mind that only effiminate person could be gay and not butch person type of mind (which idk if it's a correct stereotype but i don't think how you acted really reflects your sexuality a lot?) Question is, knowing that that would happen, do you think there is a chance that an LGBT person (in this case male idol) acted butch and macho just to hide his sexuality from any questioning eyes? And on the flip side, there is people like (most of you use) Key, which was rather effiminate i action (camera wise) and while i know that is not the only contributing point, seems to be one of the first sign that people took as to question his sexuality. Could it be that people like him was actually the straight ones? There is a chance that there are gay idols who are effiminate, but the same way, maybe some of them wasn't? 2. In terms of dating life, there is no way that all of them are single. And i don't mean the straight ones as well. What do you think about the thought that maybe, some of those couples who really are dating the same sex, whether in same group or different, use tactics like 'hiding in plain sight'? Deliberately becoming couple for fans to ship, making a great fanservice with another member or a different person and never the one who they dated, that sort of things. I mean, based from what i see, it's easy to throw off anyone's scent just the moment you (male idol) show up with a girl in their arm and had rumours spread, and suddenly you are straight with no possibility to be anything but. 3. Which brings me to last point. Do you think that some male idols that are gay and perhaps even have a chance to be in a relationship go and faked one with another girl? I'm not saying that it is for any male-female couple, but just a thought. Like for example Hyunseung and Hyuna dated in public when in reality, he was dating Junhyung, that sort of thing. Most of the time, sasaengs seems to know a lot about which idol is dating which in any gender however. I've heard things from the grapevine like A and B in relationship but the dad didn't approve and this cause this, and that D and C is in a relationship and because certain media outlet almost caught them, they need to make a fake and vague story to throw the public's scent off of them. This whole thing does sounded a lot like conspiracy theory and rather delusional, but for some reason, i just don't believe that some things are just as simple as 'this is gay and this is straight, we can see it in fancams' and in behind the scenes. I know that most of them time this is why it is called 'speculations' but i think there should be a broader search area than what has been done in terms of searching for someone's sexuality in a conservative place like korea. Sorry for bad language
