I remember that show where girls got to try out a job for the day, and if they did well they got to perform at the workplace to promote themselves for the election. That was through a lottery draw. At first, I thought that was how they did it with member MVs too, but if that's true, we should be seeing more girls who are less known. So I guess it must be some choosing method based on rank after all.

Not quite there yet. There's many a pretty and youthful face in China. My lovely bias is indeed gaining fame fast for an SNH member, but she's also not very well-liked outside of that. At least, non-SNH-fan comments towards her are almost always nasty. She's far from being embraced by the general public on the level that top female celebrities and beauties are in China, unfortunately.

DePhocas keeping our thread afloat! <3 I'm really excited for the upcoming BEJ48 release! The line-up of members looks good too (though I don't see Yuanyuan ;_;).

Despite having so many new girls/generations/teams, CHN48 is still SNH 1st and 2nd gen. heavy. Those girls are still the most popular and bring in the most money, so it's not surprising that they get their ways more often.

The girls seem to have freedom to choose the song they want for these self-made MVs I like the original much better too.

It just takes them longer to reach top level fame and acknowledgment on a broader level. So by then, they're usually older than 25.

Did they release songs for the other teams? TBH I just want to hear the HII one so the eternal waiting for that original stage will be a bit easier to handle.

TBH if this is them trying to make us forget that she still doesn't have a solo yet, it ain't working. That teaser is absolutely gorgeous though. Not sure how to feel about ViVi's hair being so different (they didn't have time to dye it, maybe?), as if she's some outsider, but she still manages to look really good.
