Does anyone know if there's an instrumental floating around for "Don't Touch"? Someone in the P48 thread is looking for one.

I don't think the actual instrumental was ever released. They might have to just manually make one themselves.

I agree with Raizy. Yes, SNH has the most material but the GNZ stages he mentionned have set the standard for 48 in China lately.

^ I third this. GNZ has solid music, production, choreos, all wrapped up in satisfying consistency.

It includes the announcement of two brand new stages! First, a training stage called "Next Idol Project" for 4th generation members to premiere on April 28th followed on April 30th by the new "Universe" stage by Team E!

 

Team J will also introduce an update to their current stage with "Because I Like You 2.0"

Can't wait for Team E's second original!

I liked the extended drama version much better. The timing made more sense, and we saw more girls say lines that were cut out from the original MV. But it also emphasized just how much the song didn't fit with it all (except for the orchestral sounding bits).

Anyhow, I got more amazing Kiku footage, so I'm peachy.

For those who haven't kept up with SNH48 recently, this year's election single MV for Top 16 has been released!

Since Xiao Ju won the election again this year, she's the center once more!

I actually lowered my expectations for the Top 16 release overall after the song came out. The MV made it more enjoyable, for sure. Also, it gets better and better the more I watch it. Kiku's acting skills have really gotten quite good (then again, not surprising since that's all she's basically been doing lately).

Looking forward to the dance version.

As much as this stage underwhelmed, there were indeed a few really decent tracks. I think people went a bit overboard in saying how bad it was.

I'm starting to have some thoughts about how the past two election singles have turned out.

Seems like SB made big investments for composition, but I personally feel like both Princess Cloak and Dawn in Naples falls short in some way. I do know Chinese tend to have a habit of taking something original and running with it, for better or for worse (putting own twists on execution of projects, etc.).

Kind of similar to how mainlanders manage to make originally pretty clothing look bad just with how they coordinated the whole outfit.

That's kind of a suspicion I have when listening to Dawn in Naples. At least, it feels like the notes for a decent track has been written, but the execution leading to the final product was made in poorer taste/skill.

Their auras have developed well. I can understand why K-netz are always going 'oh Chinese actresses/celebrities and their auras'. Even for something like our group and girls, it practically leaps off the screen at you.

Nope! Recent entries are all public. Click the 'Read More' in the post, and then click the 'MF' (stands for Mediafire; GD for 'Google Drive') at the end of the tracklist and you can download! I just haven't finalized everything yet so I've kept the rest under 'friends only'.
