B.A.P want to shed their Idol status and become Artists...with the rapid way they are improving they will achieve that as well. 

 

I want B.A.P to win a music show,it would be a nice present for them. If some babyz want to leave B.A.P for popularity reasons,let them leave because they are clearly in the wrong fandom.

B.A.P have made way more money (Album sales+CP->skoolooks+Pacific Tour+Japanese Tour)$$$$$ than VIXX so relax they haven't been surpassed by them. I'm happy for VIXX and it shows that B.A.P CAN win a music show (hopefully soon).

@detonation ..the thread really is quite dead lately..but hope you still feel welcome.

TS sucks; both Crash and One Shot (and Rain Sound!) did at least as well or better than Voodoo is doing digitally when you look at the download/streaming breakdown, and they could have mustered the sales for One Shot. XD  Or maybe even with Crash if they'd done a bigger print run+fansigns.  I really wish Badman hadn't done as poorly as it did, but the damage may not be too bad, considering Badman still peaked at #21 comprehensive.  Should go update my excel file....

I can understand why they suck considering B.A.P is their very 1st boy group and so maybe they've been experimenting to see what works. I hope they have learned from all their mistakes by now and not make them again next year. Vixx looked like they used B.A.P's 2012 promotion tactics(more effectively though)... 

 

I think they could have still won with Badman had they not faced the tough competition that was in that promotion-cycle. Badman's physical sales were pretty good..imagine if they had more fansigns/tv appearances during that time,I think they would have easily surpassed 100K and digital sales would have been higher.

Yea that interview was really boring tbh I think they were so tired. Too many schedules in like 2 days and all the flying back and for it was poor schedule management. You could tell their eyes were all puffy. 

 

I think they need a reality TV and when I mean more TV appearances I meant getting a permanent spot on a show. A reality show would rally the fanbase and get some new fans. If they have a good concept it could work. I think they need to be more friendly with K-babyz/more interaction. More than loosing momentum I see a lot of sad babyz and our main fanbases sometimes are all over the place. Now we have so many potential awards coming but they are not promoting, I see random babyz promoting more. 

B.A.P is being held back by the poor promotion style of TSent. I feel like the major problem they have right now is because their schedules are too hectic and rushed that they barely have time to interact with Babyz or they're too tired to do so.

 

I don't think B.A.P are really the variety type-idol,I'd love them to appear on Immortal Song&Hello Baby..I think those can show their most appealing sides. And a more relaxed time promoting albums. Ugh it frustrates me to see how B.A.P's potential is being wasted like that... I hope next year will be better 

@lepidoptery I'm so inlove with that OTP   I can't stand them being torn apart so I never read love-triangles especially with bangdae. Btw thank you for the links!

Bear in mind that B.A.P haven't even been promoting extensively. They haven't been on many variety shows..they haven't had a full album and that's how much they are doing so far,a groups that bearly 2years old. Imagine how they will do when B.A.P are promoted properly in 2014.

@geek Zek...I had a perfectly fine laptop but my twin-baby-sisters decided to sit on it,slam it and all sorts of destructive stuff while I was in away in class... Now the screen is green,it lags and even my laptop charger no-longer charges the laptop. Now I'm stuck using this dinosaur till I can get a new one (hopefully by the end of this week).

Precisely.  I mean, I Remember doesn't really give Daehyun additional exposure outside of B.A.P fandom the way EP theoretically gives Youngjae, but at the same time, Daehyun didn't/doesn't need it as much as Youngjae.  And particularly before One Shot came out, while both were called main vocals the lyrics distribution was becoming pretty uneven.  It's bad for morale, if nothing else.  I mean, I have my definite favorites in this group, and there are those that I feel don't/can't contribute very much to the music, but the reality is that b.a.p has 6 members, and TS should make as much use of each of them as possible/plausible.  (At least, assuming it's up to TS, they seem to try to spread the MC and variety opportunities around a bit.)

I feel like both I Remember and EP both have DaeJae as the backup of the song. I think it's harder for YoungJae to shine because b.a.p songs are not usually compatible with his voice (I think its because he was only used to singing r&b type songs,he's starting to adapt though). I've never understood why they're both Main vocalists,I've always felt Daehyun has far more lines than Jae even in songs where his voice can shine,he doesn't get to sing much like in Secret Love,It's All Lies etc. His role is more along the lines of a Lead vocalist I'd say.

 

We definitely haven't gotten to see every single members full capabilities. I mean YoungJae's my favourite but I think that even I have tended to underestimate him,I was completely shocked with how well he covered a rock song,he's got far more range in his voice than I originally thought. I'm thinking that it's the same as the others in the group who don't seem to bring much to the music..they just haven't had the opportunity yet to show what they've got. They also improve very quickly so there's probably even more we haven't seen from them...e.g I didn't know HimChan could play the piano.

 

I really would love to see subunits/solos and B.A.P being far more involved in their music even with the instrumentals.

I'm hoping for news soon too. But I don't thin we'll hear anything soon maybe around January. I do hope whatever they were doing at that hotel was for a variety show. We're in need for a new one from them.

They really do need more exposure. 

 

Well, yeah, honestly EP was Sunhwa's song that Youngjae had an opportunity to luck into (and Babyz got a chance to cheer for for like a week's worth of music shows).  It was completely linked to WGM after all.  But I'm glad Youngjae got to do it rather than Daehyun, anyway.

Daehyun already got his chance when he performed 'I Remember' with Yongguk and Babyz would have likely attacked Sunhwa for performing with Daehyun(he did say she's his fav Secret member)...

i know it's early to say this

and i also know it will never happen

but i'm praying for a youngjae solo next year /delulu

Yes! That song did nothing for Youngjae, I'm happy it did well digitally but no. An R&B song with jieun would have been better. I hope he gets on in the full album or imma flip tables. I kinda want them to tryout different subunits for the full album too.

Jongup voice I think would fit a pop dance track . Kinda like Turn up the music.

I've also had these thoughts on my mind. When I saw that it would be with Sunhwa,I was disappointed.. It should have obviously been with JiEun since both are good at r&b.. Sometimes I wonder what the hell TS are thinking.

justin timberlake/mario winans inspired songs would totally suit youngjae 

not only because his voice fits rnb the most, but also because rnb is youngjae's favourite genre; he some kind of feeling for songs like those already, therefore i'm positive he could pull them off pretty well
