  1. I remember she once asked people to check out T-ara's comeback when they did Sexy Love, I think. Other than that I don't remember any other references to their comebacks but there was never anything negative that I can remember.
  2. Except she never accused them of anything. People assumed that it happened after the girls screwed up on twitter and all she did was deny it and later on say that they had a disagreement before the tweets(which the members themselves said, even before her I think). Also way to ignore their own contributions to the scandal and KKS' bad managing of the situation(which was the prime reason for why all their careers suffered).
  3. It can have a negative meaning but given how she's usually been supportive when giving references to T-ara's new stuff that seems less likely to me. But even if you disagree, jumping to negative conclusions instantly and being all judgemental for a minor thing because you don't like someone is petty. And that's what bothers me about this whole situation. Some people(quite a lot) in this fandom often complain about how harsh T-ara is being criticized, without taking into account what the girls' share of the blame may be, but have no problems jumping to negative conclusions when it comes to any minor thing that Hwayoung may have said or done. It's so petty and hypocritical and it isn't helping the girls or us, the fandom, in any way but to make us seem like a douchebag fanbase.
  4. A 'diss' is a negative thing. Saying it can be either positive or negative isn't exactly correct. And I still don't get what the big deal is. Making a reference to her former group mates' new song is hardly something bad, if anything it can even be considered a positive thing since not many people seem to know about it yet.
  5. A bit dramatic, aren't we. So what if she posted a reference to Little Apple, how would that be a negative thing?
  6. I think it's more like other idols are distancing themselves from them since their image could suffer. This is showbiz, image is everything. All these supposed friendships that idols form with each other are most of the time just a means to an end.
  7. I only thought that Eunjung sang it all because I figured that it would be Eunjung or Hyomin singing the chorus and since Qri's voice is more similar to Eunjung's I kind of jumped to conclusions. Anyway it's apparent in the video too if you pay attention(I didn't ).
  8. It's not just that, it's also that whoever does the mr removed videos distorts everything including the actual live singing that the singers do, so it's likely that even well sung notes are removed in the process. They can occasionally be somewhat of an indicator of someone's singing prowess on stage if they're done very well perhaps, but it's more likely that you'll find out who lipsyncs and who doesn't. But yeah Qri at least tries, I can appreciate that. Though I'd rather MBK get her a proper vocal coach. Actually they should give all them some good vocal lessons, help them get out of the 'talentless' category that a lot of people put them in(though there are plenty of other groups worse off).
  9. MR removed aren't really reliable sadly.
  10. I was pretty sure that Eunjung sung the first half of the chorus every time, which kinda annoyed me a bit , but it's nice to see/hear Qri doing that though I don't hear a difference in the studio version. EDIT: Actually I think I do now. Maybe I'm just weird.
  11. This is pretty cool, I like it a lot! Kind of wish they had toned it down with the autotune but oh well, it's still very catchy. The video is funny and I like it, the Chopsticks bros were really cool, but I don't think it fits Hyomin quite as much as the rest, especially when they're all in pig tails, her face shape and weight doesn't make it very favorable on her, the parts where they're in dresses doesn't compliment her that much either imo. Though I think the main problem is that she's in one of her anorexic periods, which is a shame because she has the best proportions in the group, she could be perfect if she'd actually eat like a normal person. Anyway let's hope this song is a succes.
  12. So I heard that in some fan accounts, some of the girls are a bit different in person. I only personally know an account where someone said Hyomin is a lot prettier in reality than on camera and I think there was someone who said Jiyeon is scarier in person, or something like that. It's pretty interesting, anyone know of any accounts of this sort?
  13. So I just found this: Can't say I like it more than the original. The lyrics and message is supposed to be more intense than this imo.
  14. I thought he was still the CEO? Anyway, I hate to admit it but the guy looks like a pimp in that picture so I hate him less
  15. I bet they love being wet.
  16. I wish Hyomin could do her hair like this again Every other time when she has bangs her face looks weird for some reason. These would do too: These were her best imo.
  17. BTS having a japanese album that has more than just japanese versions of their korean songs? Awesoooooome. I just hope that they give Jin more lines for fuck's sake, especially since the title song will be a balad. Also, am I the only one who kind of wishes that they'd use V the way Block B uses P.O? Singing the parts that require a deep, manly fucking voice and rap in support of the main rappers' parts, kind of like a hype-man. Not sure if that would screw with their song making dynamics but I'd like them to try. For those who don't know P.O, it's the blonde guy with a red coat from this vid:
  18. Not that many options <_<
  19. Am I the only one who's really put out by the girls using colored lenses so much? I just can't see them as an enhancer, they mostly make them kind of creepy. Only time they worked imo was in in Jeon Won Diary and even then I wasn't that sold on the idea.
  20. I didn't like Yayaya that much but Qri was indeed stunning in it.
  21. Not sure that's healthy.
  22. None of those are things that the leader does alone. They have people for most of that, the leader at most just reminds them. Not something exactly hard. Not necessarily the leader's job and T-ara already has had Soyeon as their spokesperson since forever. No, they don't. Most groups have their bosses manage all those things for them, exceptions being those few groups that manage themselves, like Block B, or those that are deemed competent by their company to do so, like BigBang(and I'm not sure even BigBang has that much control). In most groups the leader gets to have a say only if their bosses agree with them, and their position as leader has nothing to do with it.
  23. So basically the leader is the group's scapegoat? That sucks but I sort of doubt that's the standard for all groups. It's too dumb.
  24. And what does the leader do, exactly? Most important things are decided by their bosses.
