  1. Even if things weren't promising in China, things aren't so bad in Korea, I think they could have still hanged on for a year or two. But since things do seem promising in China, I imagine they have plenty of years left if all things go well; though that might not be the case for all the members(do we know anything about their contracts and when they expire? 'cause not all of the members might want to sign back in).
  2. Am I the only one who really doesn't give a single crap about their 'questionable' actions? Every single thing from that list looks like something put together by some SJW with nothing to be offended by for the day. Only thing I can concede to is Rapmon imitating black stereotypes when he talks/raps sometimes, and that's strictly because i find it annoying; I never saw the appeal at all.
  3. So what made EYC say that we can be a shitty fandom(which applies to any group)? I'm assuming some BTS fan said something?
  4. I only somewhat recently got into liking EXO(really disliked them before), and now I'm a bit bummed that Kris isn't part of it anymore. His voice was probably the coolest in the whole group, even if he didn't get that many singing opportunities, and he just seems like a cool guy in general. Leaving right before that concert wasn't that nice of a move but I don't really fault him for it; he probably had his own reasons and that's what should matter for him. On the other hand I like that he seems to be more free to do as he likes now and I really love his songs released so far(they're OSTs right?); he's a better singer than he seemed to be while in EXO. I'm hoping that he'll be like Hangeng 2.0; he's certainly had a good start. Oh, and his raps in 'Let out the beast' are the coolest parts of the whole song.
  5. I just hope they get to keep a decent portion of that fee. And that the guy doesn't get sleezy or anything(he's bound to like more than just their music).
  6. I really wonder how V's highnotes would sound. His voice doesn't make it easy to reach them and he's not really that skilled but I think it'd be interesting. In fact is there any song where V actually sings higher? I only know 'Let me know' where he does the 'I just wanna know know know' parts.
  7. Didn't see his/her post since there are too many around here, but I'll search for it later. To tell you the truth I only wanted some input from someone who seems to know more than the average joe because most people I have discussions with regarding T-ara are into the 'highnote=skill' crowd, and I was curious what other people think(though I do agree with you for the most part). I'm not really expecting 100% correct analyses, since I doubt anyone here is actually a reliable judge(tell me if I come off as douchey). Cheers!
  8. Wow, I didn't actually expect anyone to reply, especially as detailed. Thank ya. To be honest after watching more of their lives, I thought Hyomin was better than Eunjung and has been since their debut, not just recently. Not by much at all, they seemed pretty comparable to me, but Hyomin seemed more consistent. Anywho, thanks again.
  9. Heyo. How were Hyo and Eunjunf in this performance, in your opinions? Also, for those who generally take an interest in them(probably nobody), which one of them do you think is better? I'm leaning slightly towards Hyomin but quite a few people disagree with me so what do you think? EDIT: I mean in general, not in this performance necessarily; just to clarify.
  10. Well she is in the top three(most say she's first or second, I'd say she's third, second at most). I'm not sure about hard parts, if you mean high parts then she's been sharing those with Soyeon since number nine(and has always shared those with Soyeon and Hyomin in the past). She does do pretty much all ad libs(she shared those in the past). There's not much vocal ambiance or gymnastics in T-ara songs from what I can remember, except in Number nine where she did do those. I guess she does qualify.
  11. What is your definition of a main vocal? I'm asking because some seem to have a different definition for it. If you mean the best singer that has the hardest parts then I wouldn't say so exactly, though I'd say she's been kind of sharing that role with Soyeon since Number nine.
  12. Ah cool, didn't know about that. Hopefully we'll hear some more details.
  13. What is this EDM party that's being mentioned? I didn't hear anything about the girls going to one or getting upset about anything; sounds interesting.
  14. Must be one hell of a bra ;O
  15. Poor Qri . Bit bummed I couldn't hear her cute little shriek.
  16. I actually like this remix. Kind of glad that they didn't have to do the whole thing; Jimin wasn't really on point and he has the most parts in this song.
  17. God I love songs where Hyomin has a lot of lines. Good times. Also is that the official T-ara color, for lightsticks at least? Because for the life of me I can't remember.
  18. Did Hyomin only perform Overcome? And what about Jiyeon; did she perform any of her solos?
  19. Oh, they actually performed it? Never knew.
  20. I'd settle just for a normal performance, really. Maybe I'll finally find out for sure who does the 'nananana' part. Most people say Soyeon but I could easily imagine it being Hyomin ; they have a similar tone. Who am I kidding. Of course it's Soyeon.
  21. Heya. Just wanted to know the reason why I can't look at people's profiles anymore. Their names aren't clickable anymore and I could swear that some things on my own profile don't show anymore(though that's not really an issue, just saying). Thanks in advance.
  22. Man, I love watching Hyomin's Fake it lives. She looks stunning and sounds awesome though I kind of wish the high note wasn't prerecorded. I mean I get why she'd prerecord it, most do it so they don't strain their voices from doing it too often, but I do wish I could know for sure how well she can do it without it being potentially processed.
  23. I never thought J-hope was that cheerful either. It's very hard to be that cheerful while living like an idol. Only weird thing is that Jungkook actually said it; isn't it kind of a bad move that their managers shouldn't have allowed? J-hope's cheery attitude is kind of his thing, his primary image maker. Debunking it just seems counterproductive, unless they wanted to earn sympathy points for J-hope after that whole twitter mess. But if so, wouldn't it have been better if Joongkook had said that it's more of a recent thing? The way he said it makes it seem like it's always been this way.
