Yes Kyuhyun got vocal nodule, but isn't it happen recently (last year, cmiiw)? His voice is a hit or miss for me since several years ago. I thought it's because Kyuhyun uses headier approach in his singing, thus his voice sounds lighter. A bit agree with SM vocalists sound kinda robotic. I don't think they sound emotionless, but they lack 'rawness'. It's like they are taught to sing correctly, textbook-y. Not all of them though. Their male vocalists esp. Jonghyun, sound more 'wild' - less robotic than the females.

1. I used to looove Kyuhyun's voice, but his current (well, circa 2012 till now) voice is a love-hate thing. He sounded much better (deeper, clearer) before. Now his tone is 'inconsistent', sometimes is too light and nasally for my taste, sometimes is alright. His superior technique means nothing if i dislike his voice 2. RV's OOTN is one of the best GG songs. 3. I like OMG's Coloring Book.

Hi guys..sorry this is not Kpop related, but what do you think about this perf? Does she support her voice? She is one of the most popular Indonesian singers at the moment, and got a lot of praise for her singing. I think she has beautiful tone, but I'm not sure if her technique is as good as people say.

Is it possible that SM's singing method affects her voice?

Thanks!! I also think Hyorin & K.Will duet is better, but mainly because K.Will > Yoseob (technique, tone). Yoseob isn't bad, but his voice doesn't really suit the song, imo.

Hmm maybe. I agree tho, his low notes seem non-existent, lol. And i think there's tempo problem as well.
