Wow I'm going to be pretty fucking pissed if that rumor is true. That's so shitty for B.I and the rest of the group. YG won't debut them without him (they'll disband) and I'm sure he still wants to be there if it was his choice, so this is probably the worst feeling in the world for him. I was looking forward to B.I more than anyone else on WIN so it'll be very disappointing if he's not going to be with the company anymore. The rest of the members will have to audition for lessor companies and debut in a nugu group.

Zico's brother is in SPEED too. What if Mino ended up joining CCM because of his connections? He'd be in SPEED instead of WINNER.

It doesn't really matter that they're not known. Since nobody knows Chocolat anyway, debuting as a duo would be like debuting fresh as a new group, and if by any chance they attract more attention as a duo then they did as Chocolat, then their new fans will follow them back to the main group when they come back as 5... Who am I kidding though? A duo with no full Korean members will never be embraced in Korea. Why do I have to stan this group? Love is pain.

Official BLACKPINK Thread | BLACKPINK 'Born Pink' The 2nd Album
Netizenbuzz replied to neozone's topic in Groups
I don't want to wait for YG to recruit + train new trainees. He needs to scoop up somebody who's already been trained and is ready to go like Mino. Lineup: Chocolat's Tia - Leader, lead vocal, main dancer, main visual, face of the group Jennie Kim - Rapper, sub-vocal Eunbi - Main Vocal Miyeon - Main Rapper Jisoo - Visual, vocal Mystery girl from GD's song - vocal -
... Of course! I completely understand and care about your feelings. It's all going to be okay. *backs away slowly*

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Sbpug69rc4 Your endearingly unstable outbursts written in poorly-worded pink text bring back fond memories of 7th grade and Myspace. Ah, did I just give you a false sense of importance? From now on I'll write while keeping in mind that some here are learning English as a third language and haven't learned how to identify a facetious post yet. Exactly. Luckily for me though, I don't particularly care for the members that are most likely to get cut. The only thing I worry about is that YG will delay the group for so long that an important member will drop out by their own choice (like Bobby or Junhwe).

Because one can still be changed and the other can't/won't. What is so fucking hard to understand about that? lmfao I complained about Jinwoo and Taehyun profusely while WIN was airing and I expressed several times on different occasions that I wanted one, or even both out of the group. That was because at that point, nobody had won yet and it was still plausible to change members. If you weren't there to see, I'm sure several people here were (particularly the ones that were there throughout the whole show). But they won, and as a result, Team A's lineup is finalized. Expectedly, the lineup is not subject to change anymore. I stopped talking about changing Team A's members for the same reason that we stopped theorizing about "Team C" after the show ended. Wow, I didn't realize how much this fandom needed me. You guys are in pretty bad shape without me around to set you all straight. From now on, I'm an honorary "Watermelon" and I'll stop by this thread periodically to make sure you guys don't stray too far from sanity. Think of it as charity work.

I do. Nothing. Did that rumor even have a legit source? No, some person's Twitter is not one. How do you know that? Are you pretending to be a "vocal expert"? I've never been discrete about the fact that I'm not a fan of Jinwoo and Taehyun's voices, so I don't know why you're asking me that. This is the Team B thread, for discussion about Team B, correct? There's no point in discussing about potential member changes in Team A now because it's not going to happen. They won. Even if they lost, this still wouldn't be the thread to discuss that in. As for Team B, YG explicitly stated that there may be member changes so it's a perfectly valid subject of discussion right now. You have no point.
-
Nope, since it's always been understood without saying that all of the members of the winning team debut. That was the whole point of the show and it's part of the prize. Duh? Wrong. I was the first person to point out that Junhwe is the best vocalist in Team B in episode 1 when everyone else was assuming him to be the useless member. The posts are still there in the WIN thread if you want to go find them. I was literally one of maybe 2 people in there defending him from the majority of the thread, who were shitting on him. Then around episode 3, others started to notice that he's actually good and I rubbed in their faces that I was right (as usual). I'm assuming that this part must be directed @ inkacajo since he/she was the only one claiming any type of expertise. From a common sense perspective though, Donghyuk sucks.

Late responses, sorry, I had to run some errands. It's not that I want the group to be "perfect". I hate "perfect" groups. I like dynamic groups and I feel like something essential is missing from this team's dynamic. I also don't think removing Donghyuk would devastate the group's chemistry on-stage or otherwise like how you guys seem to think. Admittedly though, removing any more than one member would be really pushing it. But if YH is the sole weak vocalist in the group, then that's not so bad. Every group has one member like that. Plus, he has way more potential to improve than DH IMO. I was just naming off the members that I'm personally anticipating the most, which are B.I and Junhwe. But no doubt, Bobby is one of the aces (is that a dirty word in this thread?) of the group along with those 2. Jinhwan I could take or leave but I can see why he's considered necessary...
-
Not surprising that his idol is MJ. Junhwe is incredibly talented. He's a natural dancer, great (and STABLE) vocals with a unique voice color and actor good-looks. YG is lucky to have discovered him. He + B.I are the reasons that I'm anticipating this group. A 7-member group wouldn't be too bad if the new member was a great vocalist... It would also kinda solve the problem without eliminating a member because more vocal members = less lines for Donghyuk. Still, I don't really like large groups and I don't think YG does either. Having so many members (and many with similar voices) kind of takes a bit away from the individuality aspect that YG likes to emphasize in his groups.
-
I think you're taking this a little too personally. It's not something to be offended by. I'm not trying to force you to agree with me, I'm just offering another perspective on the issue besides all the emotional "OT6 forever!!!!11" crap. The possibility of member replacement is very real , it's relevant to this fandom, and I wanted to show that there can be a positive aspect to it. Member replacement is not all doom and gloom because the group will be more solid for it and the guys will adjust to the new member just like they adjusted to previous lineup changes.
-
I think some fans are getting kinda delulu about this group. They are trainees. Member changes happen in trainee groups frequently. So many members have been cut from YG's new girl group. It's not an unreasonable thing to discuss the possibility of member changes in a trainee group.
-
I don't think they'd be that upset to lose just one member. Especially if it's one that was added recently (like DH, who is the newest addition). They were a group before he was added so they'd just go back to how they were before he was added... And I think they'd accept the new member after a while because they'd realize that it's not his fault.
-
I don't have anything against them personally. They're both nice kids and it's a shame that one or both of them will be eliminated, but I'm trying to look at it from a more objective point of view. The strongest members of Team B are very talented and they deserve a team that doesn't let them down. You don't agree that Team B would be better if they had more than one good vocalist...?
-
They'll still be 6 members if they replace one. Imagine how much better they'll be when they drop a weak singer and add one with great vocals that'll match Junhwae and help balance out the vocal line.
-
Lol I'm really anticipating it now. It sounds like they could debut as early as late next year (or 2015, knowing how YG can never stay on task with anything) Before they debut, he should give them a new reality show separate from WIN as a way to introduce the new member(s). It could start off by showing everything they've been doing since WIN ended. For the first challenge, he would force Yunhyung and Donghyuk to battle each other to stay in the group. The loser will get eliminated. Then he can introduce the new member and actually show how he and the other members adjust, and all the struggles he goes through. It'll be a perfect way to build empathy for the new member instead of letting the fans be resentful towards him for replacing Donghyuk. Do you guys like my idea?
-
I hope YG will find some good new male trainees quickly so that B.I and Junhwae can debut with a reformed team soon.

http://onehallyu.com/index.php?/topic/29537-the-future-team-b-member/ I just realized it's the same user who posts a lot of BS in the thread for YG's new girl group, so take it with a grain of salt. This is the second time that this "James Park" has been brought up as a possible YG trainee though.
-
Idk, go look at dudu's thread. He claims it's a YG trainee. Whoever he is, I'm sure he's a better singer than Donghyuk.
