I... No. Screw this, I don't have the will or energy to deal with this right now. I'm really, really disappointed in Papa Cho and desperately hoping Kyuhyun's involvement pretty much stopped at providing the funds to get the place up and running. But even if Kyuhyun wasn't directly involved in running the place, he's gonna take the heat from this. And frankly, someone has to take some heat, cuz it's looking like a law actually was broken here. Someone has to be held accountable. But will they be able to get things running legally, pay whatever fine is due, and move on, or will Kyuhyun lose all his hard-earned popularity with his Korean audience on top of inevitably dealing with the misplaced, disproportionate rage of anti-SuJu i-fans and be denied any chance to redeem himself? Comment #9 has me so freaked out and actually kinda pissed. I've gotten so attached to Kyu's family because they all seem so close and loving and you can see the similarities between him and his parents and it's all so endearing... but the thought of his dad taking advantage of Kyu's love and goodwill, even putting his son in debt with shitty business moves makes my blood boil. And I've already seen one ELF whip out the ol' "But Papa Cho saved Kyuhyun's career after the accident!" spiel. Yeah, he did. And he could also ruin Kyuhyun's career and whole goddamn life with a few fuck-ups like this one. Ugh. Fuck this shit and fuck 2014 in general. I'm going to bed.

Y'know, I've never really paid attention to how many fans ship Kyusung. But there certainly are a few very dedicated ones on tumblr who occasionally flood the Kyuhyun tag. It's nothing like the constant barrage of fuzzy old pics and terribad edits of Kyumin, but it's there. But oh, the sweet heydays of QMi. I totally agree that there are still plenty of older fans who low-key adore it, but so many of them have either moved on to other fandoms, or have too many real-world obligations to be heavily involved in fandom anymore. So between the lack of people posting about QMi and the lack of new material to post, it's getting harder for the pairing to gain traction among newer fans. It's not that the ship sank, there's just not much wind in her sails anymore. Which still bums me out. ... Speaking of QMi, anyone know if Cultwo Show has been subbed yet?

Dear god, what a ride this is turning out to be. I've been listening to the album over and over again and I'm just so thrilled, so proud of him watching all this unfold... but that M!Countdown acceptance speech drove home just how important this is to him. Mercy, I hope that's all true. Smart thinking on Kyu's part, taking his time to plan and prepare, making sure it doesn't overlap with group promos. Also, if he has some control over the timing, hopefully that means he gets creative input, too. Even if he isn't good at/has no interest in writing lyrics, maybe he could collaborate, like he did with Changmin for the SS6 solo? And I especially hope he gets to choose his own style and image, because the way SM's been promoting all its recent male solo acts would probably be an awkward fit for Kyu at best, or thoroughly uncomfortable and a poor use of his talents at worst. I'm really hoping it works for Zhou Mi, though, cuz heaven knows SM and ELF have put the poor darling through hell and I wish him all the success and happiness in the world. Also, QMi duet would be very nice, plzkthx Holy crap, what. So not only is Kyuhyun much stronger/in better shape than we often give him credit for being, but he could also probably hold his own in a fight. That's... really fucking hot. Damn. Gotta love how we're constantly finding out new things about him. Keeps things interesting.

Aw hell nah... Bless you and your eloquence. That pretty much perfectly describes why this is a problem. I mean, the boys have known about shipping from the beginning, and some of them have spent years encouraging it, but it's all probably much easier to accept and process from a distance. Coming face-to-face with fans who value their fantasy more than the boys' reality has gotta be uncomfortable, and maybe kinda hurtful. This is all reminding me of a fanaccount I read ages ago of a fan going up to Kyu at a fanmeet and saying she knew all about the ~*"deep relationship between KyuMin"*~ and he just sounded so exasperated and... kinda pissed, actually. That's very true, it's massively hypocritical. ELF shouldn't expect mercy for Kyuhyun while laughing off other fandoms' grievances. I just... wish the fandoms would calm their collective tits about Radio Star. Yes, it's harsh, unnecessarily so sometimes. But there are so many more important things to get up in arms about.

The fact that Gura brought up SuJu's sales isn't even surprising, and freaking out about it (1) doesn't do anything to prove Gura wrong, (2) creates the controversy Gura was probably hoping for anyways, and (3) encourages the trolls who are already out in full force. And Kyuhyun will be fine. As nervous as his presence on Radio Star still makes me sometimes, he's definitely tough and mature enough to handle something like this.

I... really can't blame him for chickening out. It's kind of a bummer, cuz I love seeing Kyu interact with his hoobaes and part of me really reeeeeeally wants him and Seulgi to become good friends (she's so fucking cute, eeeeeeeee ), but until the media gets bored and moves on to harrassing some other rumored couple, I wouldn't be surprised if they avoid talking to each other in public for fear of triggering another wave of unwanted attention.

Whoa, as much as I side-eye that one comment (because he should know by that age that cheating is definitely not okay, even if he didn't fully understand its impact), I don't think all this necessarily proves he was a bully. Just a crude, rebellious teenager, it seems. But some friends don't express their closeness gently. I see some of my friends tease and cuss at each other instead of exchanging compliments, but they're still undeniably close. I don't always get it or think it's a healthy way for friends to communicate, but it's their relationship and if it's working for them, I let it remain their issue. Maybe Kyu and his friends are/were the same way. And I think the excessive underage drinking is probably a separate issue, although it was rather stupid of him, considering the potential impact on his growth and health and how it could've gotten him in huge trouble. And he still could probably stand to drink a little less. But in any case, he seems to have grown into a kinder, wiser, generally better person, and we can be thankful for that.

Oh lawd. If this is legit, I underestimated just what a foul-mouthed, booze-loving little shit he was predebut. This is kinda hilarious to me. Not quite sure why. But it is. ... Well. Most of it. Seriously hoping the "Then go and date a girl..." comment was just a very bad joke. Don't know the context of the full conversation, but that ain't cool. And I certainly hope he'd know better than to ever say or think anything like that now.
