    seriously, if he's going to score a role in Reply, he's going to hit gold :rlytearpls: im just worried that he'd get stereotyped with all these high school characters. i guess it can't be helped because he looks the part so well? what do you think?

     

     

     

    and omg you guys are not alone! i know that feeling all too much and honestly, i am not getting any younger with age. it hasn't even been a year yet since i graduated college and im already missing my student life :._.:

    it sort of makes me sad that got7 debuted around the time prior to my final year at university, haha; i loved girls girls girls when it came out-- it was my jam! (my being a casual fan of jj project back in 2012 contributed to my stanning, too. i've always been drawn to jinyoung ever since. aaah memories :cry: ) now, i still do a lot of catching up as im not as active as i used to be (tbh i feel lonely?? as an ahgase). i don't mind being an adult, it's bound to happen anw, but i truly can't repress the fangirl in me forever

    Omg are you Me?!! because "it sort of makes me sad that got7 debuted around the time prior to my final year at university" i still remember when i was struggling so hard during their A-SSI eras like i wanted to keep updating on them but at the same time it was my final year and i was so busy with thesis too in the end i decided to take like 4 months hiatus. I couldn't even enjoy their gayo performances and if i'm not mistaken it was also during ATW tour and then their Asia Tour which i missed a lot.

    And yasss i've been a fan of Junior since JJP well DH2 to be exact but omg we should be friend! Also Wonpil is my bias in Day6! lol

     

    About what role that i want Jinyoung to play the most.. One of them would be a typical country boy who speaks satoori, very innocent, kind and a big dreamer just like him lol. That's why i really hope someone hear my prayers and Reply series cast him for the next season.

    And another one would be the antagonist. Well i'm not talking about a villain who murders one family or being the bad guy who messing someone's life. But more like a role who looks so angsty and temperament from outside but actually very soft and sweet inside. Like the character which Kang Haneul played in Misaeng. But WAIT.... did i basically just describe Ui Bong in DH2 and Junior in DK? hahaha. And Sorry you guys must be tired because it's like the 3rd or 4th time i mentioned Misaeng here lol don't mind me! you can skip this part. I'm just being too obsessed with this drama, One of my all time favorite! and i'm actually very picky when it comes to K-drama because most of the times they are just boring. lol

     

    Aaaaaaand what a great news!

    Jinyoung is finally going to JIFF premiere and it will be his first red carpet as an actor. I guess thread lurker does exist and they just read our rants here and all those twitter rages were worth every single tax. lol

    It's D-3 til the nunbal 1st premiere, prayer circle hoping it will get many good reviews from movie critics and S.Korea finally see the light and start worshipping Jinyoung. ;A;

    I want to quote all you guys' posts but i'm using phone currently which the multiquote choice isn't available. so ugh!

     

    But seriously as a psychology major reading his interview feels like i have to solve this case studies in my psycho class. LOL Too deep Jinyoung tooooo deep!

     

    The whole "doing something enjoyable" vs. "doing something well" is the most difficult part of his interview to understand. The untranslatable question probably adds to the confusion (not the fault of the translator at all ofc). My take on it is that Jinyoung feels there are things he enjoys but doesn't do well (like drawing). But to him, these two things (plus effort) are inextricably linked. If you enjoy something, you'll naturally work hard at it and get better. You shouldn't have to prod yourself to work hard. I'm still puzzling thru his response to the untranslatable question but I think it's getting at his jack-of-all-trades-ness, and he's saying that he's got a problem with the idea of people doing multiple things and not being good at any of them? But once you master something, it's ok to explore other outlets? Idk! Is this what you are all getting from this or are you getting something different? Help a girl out :lol: :lol:

    From my understanding and also i read the korean ver one, he means that It's okay to put all of your efforts on something but at the same time it will be worthless if in the end you don't love what you do. Like if you do something you love you will feel you never work a day and it will flow naturally. That's why every person has their own dream job. And the part when he explained what he's good at. I think Jinyoung is the typical person who prefer to be recognized as the best in one field rather than good in many fields. And i noticed he mentioned it quite a lot lately when he was praised by the hosts/mcs that he can do everything, he was like no, i'm just doing things here and there. I don't know Whether he was just being humble or still not confident in himself because he is not the best yet. Not to mention he has high self-awareness too. But i dare to say that his acting is far beyond any idol-turned-actor currently. I mean Siwan and Lee Joon are way sunbae. XD But yeah that was from my point of view.

    Btw, lol-ing at how he admitted that he is not good at drawing. Because yeah everytime i saw his drawing for p.s from fansign FA i was like facepalm-ing a lot. Those doodles are tragic. lmao

    Omg you guys are surely moving so fast. From the last time i posted in here i had to backtrack like more than 10 pages. Holy moly record! lol. It's not like i'm complaining though, but because this precious thread usually was so quiet and only one or two users posted here so i'm really surprised and happy. XD

     

    Oh yeahh for people who dont know me yet, you can call me Pepi. I used to pretty active here back then but because of school, work and what not i stopped. lol

    Btw, i promise i will stop whining and only post the happy things. I dont want to ruin the happy mood here because really everytime i visit this thread all the positive vibes from you guys, these pretty pictures and good news from Jinyoung can change my mood better.

     

    I've watched the Nunbal teaser. Actually i wasn't so sure what was that really a teaser or they just randomly or chose the most important part in the movie because usually teaser or thriller from a movie doesn't look like that. LOL but anyway that makes me more curious about the story and getting more excited for our Actor Park slayage. He looks so natural like he is really born to be an actor. If there were people who told me that was not a scripted movie but someone put a candid camera to stalk this bullied couple i would really believe i think. His intonations, expressions are so well executed. And i can already feel the chemistry between Jinyoung and Jiwoo. Eventhough it does really show the low budget for the production but i feel like the movie is gonna be daesang worthy. LOL Am i being overconfident right now? hahaha. Fingers crossed the movie and especially Jinyoung can get good reviews from it.

     

    Uhh so many things i want to say but i forgot what else, oh yeah... Jinyoung's fashion sense for this comeback is so on point. From the church oppa style, college sunbae look until the classy intern look. I really love it!!

    Can someone cast him in drama like Misaeng? Because i really want to see him in neat, clean-cut style work as an intern. No more student role for him please like seriously i want him to try so many different characters.

     

    I'm so happy we won that soompi poll. No matter how some people said the poll is irrelevant but i'm so happy many people voted for him. I voted for it everyday. Haha

     

    Still butthurt that seems like Jinyoung can't attend the JIFF premiere on 28th but i hope he can attend the closing event in May. And i'm super looking forward his solo/unit stage at the concert. How i wish i could be there. T___T

     

    Are there any of you here going to Got7 concert? if yes, please scream to Jinyoung for me. Haha. Jype always leave out my country in their tour list. :/

    How i wish i could help to trend on Naver but because i was late log in twitter and super tired after drowning myself in work that made me fall asleep in the middle of spazzing on twitter yesterday which was ridiculous plus because of timezone i have to sleep early lol.     Okay so i was watching the last fancam and without i realized i shed some tears. I remember how he started his acting experience from a very small role in DH2 as Ui-Bong, only made appearances for 35mins from a total 20 episode in When a man loves as Ddol-Yi, finally got the 2nd main lead in web drama as an antagonist, as a child role of the main lead who only appeared in ep 1 and now look at him standing in front of so many people not only from local but also International media. Started from the bottom now we're here yea?!!! I'm so proud of him, his future is looking so bright and promising. I know there are still many things to improve but with his potential i believe he won't disappoint!

    I can not wait to watch the movie!! :rlytearpls:

    You guys are really bunch of nice people, i feel like i just ruined the mood cause i brought up my own concern here. I tried so hard to be all positive and maybe i'm just too deep, too emotionally invested as a fangirl. But that's because i've been following Jinyoung way before GOT7 so i just want nothing but the best for him. And this also makes me sad how some fans seem to be portrayed junior stans as troublemakers when in fact that the Korean/Intl Junior stans i know are mostly chills. 

     

     

    Well i should brighten the mood again!!! We're getting closer to Nunbal presscon which is tomorrow and JIFF Live Premiere next month. This is so exciting! The stylist better dress him up as perfect as possible.  :ahmagah:

     

     

     

     

    And who would have thought that yesterday would be one of the historical moments in Jinyoung stans' life cycle.  :derp:

    I've seen posts like yours so many times that I don't know what to say. 

    By upgrading himself you mean talk less? Or help other members talk more/do stuff? Because if it's the latter he's doing it all the time. Even at the fansign event yesterday. He praises other members for everything they do, asks them to sing/rap, when someone is quiet he asks them questions and helps people focus attention on them. 

     

    In this interview with Bambam it was obvious that Jackson and Mark wanted Bambam to talk so he can practice his English. If Jackson really wanted to be 'rude' we know that he would talk more, but he didn't.

     

    I remember when on ASC they showed a comment that said 'Can Jackson shut up' and that he's 'annoying' and he looked sad. There are different people in this world. Some are quiet, others like talkative. GOT7 members were never annoyed because of Jackson's talking. 

     

     

     

    I wonder why only in our fandom so many people find Jackson's personality annoying? And people who are outside the fandom never find it annoying? Seriously, I've seen way too many people shading him on tumblr, twitter, even OH. Remember when fans accused him of 'bullying Youngjae?' My friend got more than 40 messages from GOT7 'fans' on tumblr who wanted her to admit that Jackson bullies him on IGOT7 and I saw Youngjae fans on twitter blaming him too - with no proofs. Two fans even posted about it on the fancafe and Jackson's instagram  :lol: When Jackson's fans tried to explain the situation no one listened. Because Jackson 'has to be the bad guy'

     

     

    I know I'll probably get negged for this but what I'm saying is the truth. I love all GOT7 members and I wish no one was treated like this. None of them. 

     

    Let me show you some examples of what annoyed me during last two years:

     

    - There was a thread on OH where GOT7 fans argued who's the most popular member with general public in Korea and there were users (some of them are in this thread) who said that it wasn't Jackson! 

     

    - After GOT7 held showcases in China and HK many fans of other members on weibo were annoyed because Jackson talked! But what could he do if he's the only member who can speak Mandarin and Cantonese quite ok? 

     

    - People are mad that Jackson's lines in FLY are too long but it's the first time he got a long line in a title track? Rappers have the right to shine once right? Bambam and Jackson usually have the shortest lines (12s-16s for each song) 

     

    - Fans spammed him on instagram because he didn't promote 'My Love Eundong' on instagram on time and when he posted it I saw tweets like 'Finally' but he's not even obliged to do this? We all know GOT7 members support each other. It's not like GOT7 members promote Jackson's projects, they don't have to do this to 'prove their friendship'

     

    - When Junior appeared on that show with Kim Gura and everyone was excited because he was finally going to appear on variety (after a while), people's reactions changed quickly and they didn't like how the show didn't focus on Junior and that Kim Gura was rude to him. They went as far as mentioning MBC's official account on twitter, there were many conversations of Junior fans who obviously didn't get used to to how variety shows work - you have to do things for attention, sometimes stupid stuff to get screentime - sadly that's how it works and two of them said (yes! they were GOT7 fans) 'Jinyoung-ah, I don't want you to appear on variety shows, just leave filthy variety for Jackson and focus on acting' and 'Variety isn't for you, you're above that' ????? Of course, Jackson fans are patient and no one reacted to this (but everyone who saw that was pissed). The users who tweeted this have many followers. Many followers agreed with them and replied. At that moment I felt like Jackson's hard work on variety shows was nothing and was sad.

     

    - I saw GOT7 fans being upset that Jackson didn't follow DAY6 members on instagram or promoted their song, does he have to? We don't know how close he is with DAY6 members either.

     

    - On OH It's ok to say that 'Bambam is/can be big in Thailand, that he's the main source of GOT7's popularity there' that 'Junior will be the male version of Nation's First Love' - again I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST IT! We, as fans can and should wish all the best for our biases, but every time someone says that Jackson MIGHT be big in China looking at all offers he's getting and connection with He Jiong - everyone says 'LET'S WAIT' 'HE'S NOT THERE YET' Why???? 

     

    - People say JYP promotes Jackson and send him to variety but they've never done that. All offers since Hitmaker he got because of his hard work. Jackson is blamed because other members don't appear on variety but it's not his fault.

     

    - Finally, we have many fans who claim that Junior and JB are more popular than Jackson in China just because they have more members on their baidu bars which were opened in 2012. But many of these members aren't active anymore, that's why Jackson's baidu bar has the most posts and his bar on weibo is reaching 200K followers. Mark is second. Jackson fans know that he isn't popular in Korean fandom and we acknowledge that, but why are people downplaying his popularity in China? What's with the double standards?

I shared all of this for those who can't access weibo or don't know this stuff. So yes there's a country where Jackson is the most popular and it's China. Jackson's Baidu Bar is also the only Bar that got a huge increase in one year (almost 40K). After fuckboytuan's tweet I saw tweets like 'But JJ Project is the most popular in China' so I decided to mention this topic. Again, this is not hate. I only want to clarify this.

     

     

    Jackson fans were called akgaes by one user from this thread for no reason and akgae means someone who hates on other members when no one in Jackson thread ever done that. That was very upsetting. No one disagreed with that person. There are users who don't like how Jackson fans talk mostly in their thread, but we do that because not everyone is interested in GOT7 thread in talking about Jackson's possible shows in China or reading our discussions :) Some of us visit GOT7 thread and read it almost everyday though. 

     

    That said, I love GOT7 as a whole and I really hope that in the future I won't see stuff like those listed above coming from fans in this fandom. If GOT7 members love Jackson, we shouldn't complain about his beahaviour or call him rude. I said everything I've always wanted to say.

     

     

     

    WOW WOW WAIT...... Why did you sound Jinyoung stans/JJP stans are the only evil ones here? Idgi! When clearly though Jinyoung got hated too by shippers fans and heck it's not only Intl fans but believe it or not Korean fans too! Even one of this other members' fansite masternim publicly tweeted how she didn't acknowledge him in the group and disliked him before she closed down her site. He is underrated among intl fans, People seem didn't give enough credit for his contribution in the group and many more which i could just mention it all here but then again.... in every fandom there is always a bad apple. And SAME! i noticed most of the fans who don't really appreciate him comes from Jackson stans. BUT if we only nitpick the bad ones out of 1+K comments which come from not a true fan this won't end well, trying to see from a wider perspective that more fans loves Jackson instead of hating him and i'm trying to do the same too. I know that we can be so defensive when someone bashing/throwing shade on our bias but please don't throw other members under the bus.

    Park Jinyoung this comeback has been attacking me so bad. All his smiles and smirks being a bit flirty got me O<-< 

     

    And yes Pepi I agree. I have been feeling it too even in OH he's barely talked about even in the main thread got me quite frustrated cause he has so much talent yet ppl are sleeping on him. He is not just a good looking boy as you said and also not just the actor of the group. He is first, from the start, a great dancer (which idk how ppl seem to not see this) and his singing has improved tremendously too. He may not has the range as wide as the main vocalists but you can't ignore his singing. He is just so under appreciated in other areas except his acting really. He is first and foremost an idol who sing and dance. It frustrates me that when so many seniors and dancers in the industry, Kahi being one, actually complimented him for his dancing, the fans are sleeping on this. Ahh idk... I do think Yugyeom and Jinyoung are the most underrated members when it comes to i-fans. This is not the first, i have been noticing that his mnet fancam always one to have lowest view and idk why seriously. Ppl say Jinyoung got many fans when in fact it is true in korea, but overseas not really.

     

    Exactly! and bias aside he's one of those well rounded idols. Because he can definitely sing, dance, and act. He's a choreographer, singer-songwriter, and great actor. He is a good speaker too and smart. But it's just he's so underrated among International fans. :(

     

    Anyways,, PEOPLE JINYOUNG MENTIONED THAT HE IS GOING TO JEONJU ON 28th APRIL AT THE FANSIGN YESTERDAY. Which is most likely for JIFF.

    BE READY FOR ACTOR PARK's DEBUT IN INTERNATIONAL FILM!!!!!! He deserves more spotlight!!!!  :ahmagah:

    I'm sooooooo happy Jinyoung used more English this time for fanchat like Language is no more a barrier for him, there will be no excuse from now because honestly he's good!! It's just he needs to be more confident, speaks English more often. He also has good pronunciation.

    But hahahaha look at he was trolling JB fans and Yugyeom's, more than his fans.  :lol:

    He chose THE GREAT GATSBY as his favorite book. CLASSIC!!!!!!

    I really feel like he is so underrated among Intl fans. Don't you guys also think so? He is not just about a good looking boy. He is more than that! Some people call him boring because he is just too serious sometimes, but as someone who has nearly same personality as him we can be funny and witty too it's just we need more time to adapt with the situation/people around us. And his dancing and singing skill need some appreciation. Like for this album Did you guys realize he got to sing more adlibs part in this album? In Can't, See The Light, Rewind, Begging On My Knees. Even during the live premiere he threw some adlibs in Something Good. Heck no one was talking about that! 

    Sorry i spilled the tea out of the sudden, actually i should have done this earlier. But after seeing how Jinyoung's MCD fancam and Yugyeom's got lesser views than others really hit me hard. When the fact that both of them are the choreographers and vocalists in the group.  :unsure: 

    Anyway, i think we should do this "Spill The Tea" segment more often since only Jinyoung fans who can understand each other. :dave: LOL How about that OP?

    JIFF Press Conference Announcement

     

    The 17th Jeonju International Film Festival (Jeonju IFF) holds official press conference to announce the overview and line-up for this year in both Jeonju and Seoul on Wednesday, March 30. This is to introduce opening and closing films and other changes of 17th Jeonju IFF, which will be conducted by General Secretary, JANG Seong ho. The programmers of Jeonju IFF (KIM Youngjin, JANG Byungwon and LEE Sang-yong), KIM Seung-su (Chairman of Organizing Committee) and LEE Choongjik (Festival Director) will be also speaking at the conference.

     

    The official press conference will take place at 10:30am in Jeonju Digital Independent Cinema, located in Gosa-dong, Jeonju, and at 5:00pm at GLAD Hotel (Bloom AB Hall, Yeoyido) in Seoul.

     

    As the opening and closing films will be announced, the conference will also cover festival overview, new administration aspects, major changes, current status of ‘Jeonju Cinema Project 2016’, changes in ‘Jeonju Project Market’ and other information.

     

    Meanwhile, directors and actors of ‘Jeonju Cinema Project 2016’ will attend the conference. In Jeonju, KIM Soo-hyun, director of Great Patrioteers and CHO Jae-min, director of A Snowy Day will attend the conference. Both directors will also attend the conference in Seoul with the actors from each film: DONGBANG Woo, Ku Kyohwan and SANG Hyon of Great Patrioteers, PARK Jinyoung (Junior) and JI Woo of A Snowy Day.

     

    After the press conference, the 17th Jeonju IFF will gear up for successful feast. Following Opening Ceremony Reservation which starts on April 12 (Tuesday), general screening reservation will begin on April 14 (Thursday).     I noticed that CAN'T and SEE THE LIGHT are so underrated here. It's on my top 3 list alongside FLY!  :unsure:

     

    Umm agree about JB's intro sounds off i don't know why they made Jaebum sing like that when he definitely can sing better. The lacks of Jinyoung's part is saddening but at least he is the main on the mv so i'm satisfied, lol kinda.... And about Begging On My Knees is such a good song but not a title worthy imo. But overall thumbs up for the boys this album finally topped Identify in my list. I'm amazed at how good they are as rookie composers. And bless you Keone Madrid for the choreo!!

    I believe we're gonna get FLIGHT LOG: Arrival soon to answer the confusing ending from FLY. XD

     

     

    And little bit rant:

    It's hard to satisfy people seriously. When Just Right came out i remember how people said "too cutesy" "Where's the so called southern hip hop?" "Simple Choreo" and they released IYD people commented "It sounds mainstream" "Not enough Rap parts!" And now after FLY released people want them to come up with something like JR/IYD again. lol

    Actually FLY gives everything that fans ever wanted.     And i just wanna say i'm so hyped with the comeback!! My prayer has been heard by JYPE.. i've been waiting the day Jinyoung be the lead in GOT7's MV since long time ago and it's finally here!  :rlytearpls: Actor Park slays so hard in the MV!! He's so expressive!! even with no line/script his eyes tell the story so perfectly. I really hope the song hit big in Korea and the Music Video gets famous so more people in the industry take a look on Jinyoung's potential to be a great actor.
