Finally! Finished going through all 27 pages...

Lucas.. I've tried so damn hard to not accept another bias in NCT, goodness... I already fell in love with Mark, Ten, WinWin, Chenle but my god.. this boy is such a bias wrecker. First time in 9 years of being a kpop stan that I've encountered one. 

He's so beautiful. Love his eyes so much.. and just how extra but sweet he can be~ SM, thank you for debuting him!!!

Hi All! What a tough few weeks it has been~ Sorry about this long post, I've been reading the last page of the thread, and I have a few things to say.

 

Anyways, I'm actually really happy with the level of activities that Taeyeon does at the moment. Maybe it's just my perspective. I became a fan of Taeyeon in late 2013, early 2014. This period was honestly by far one of the toughest as a Taeyeon fan, and I was just a baby Taeyeon fan at the time. So many people abandoned her during this time, but I feel like I have been rewardeded sticking through it all.  In comparison to years of the past, while 2017 was quite rough in her personal life, she had a really good year musically:

 

Put this into perspective:

 

Taeyeon put out her first full album which was widely critically acclaimed for the wide variety of genres she included on it, she did a few music shows, she put out a repackage of the album with another 3 additional songs, featured on Jonghyun's title track, and went on her first solo tour in 4 different countries, with a total of 9 shows. Then on top of that, she prepared and helped put out another full album as part of girls generation. Then to top all of that she put out another mini album, after, and held 3 concerts over the holiday season, in addition to everything else that was happening, she had to deal with the sudden loss of Jonghyun. Yes we might not to get to see her live on broadcasts, but for some concerts fans do their best to live stream it for us all! Frankly I feel spoiled writing it out like this.

 

Taeyeon is at the point in her career where she simply doesn't need to be on the end of the year music shows to promote herself. She has already built up that reputation as a solo artist. In addition considering what happened with Jonghyun, I'm quite frankly glad that she didn't go on it. Also Taeyeon has at least been a lot more active on social media lately. Yes, we see a lot of dog photos, but she's actually trying to do Instagram Lives! As a fan, I really feel more connected with her through those, and TaeyeonTV.

 

Some artists wait years in between releases, but since 2015, Taeyeon has put out at least a mini album every year. I think we have a lot to be grateful for as fans of Taeyeon's. No matter how long it is between her next releases, I'll always be happy that she shares the gift of her voice.

 

Anyways, I'm excited that Taeyeon will be attending the Golden Disk Awards! Plus in a few days time (actually right around my birthday!) we have Taeyeon performing in Malaysia. She's really making an effort to try to reach out to international fans.

 

Here's to Taeyeon continuing to put out more high quality music in 2018, and doing activities that she is comfortable with.

What if she really don't want to do that many public appearances? what if this is what she really want? what if this is how she feel she can cope with everything?

 

This is the Taeyeon I appreciate and I personally would not want her to do anything other than what she herself wants to do. No matter how long I have been a fan or how much money I have spent, I have never ever felt disappointed in Taeyeon because this is what I have accepted the day I became a fan of hers. She did not force me to become a fan of her. I chose her out of all the singers out there myself.

??? She was included, the award polling is just connecting all member votes for the highest voted female and male group, and TAEYEON IS PART OF SNSD. That's the way they did it this year and since Taengstans complained they won't be doing it next year, but the fact that our fandom were the ones to complain in the first place is embarrassing and just shows they prefer her as a solo artist. Fans would be able to reward her as part of SNSD and that should be enough if you actually respect her as SNSD. 

You don't get it. You really don't. Have you seen the full list? 

Because it's obvious their whining convinced them they have to change it in the future. GD, Taemin, Eunji, so many artists belonging to kpop groups released solo work this year but it's only Taengstans who complain. I'm embarrassed and feel so disconnected to this fandom. 

Again, what is there to change when Taeyeon was included on last year's, too?

There should be NO reason for her to NOT be included and for her fans to be able to reward her for her efforts in 2017.

And whose whining? Don't tell me you think it was ONLY cfans- it was actually kfans who bombarded Gaon on that slip-up- and they acknowledge and made note for future awards. If that wasn't what you were implying, then I apologize.

(personally, can't see why they can't just add her now just to end this fandom drama but whatever. Gaon.. what's good?!) 

I'm not talking about her being noted as "SNSD", I'm talking about the fact that EVERY SINGLE ARTIST that's connected to a kpop group in that voting is treated the same, yet it's only these Taeyeon fans who are complaining. It's ridiculous. You're talking about ME getting my panties in a twist when YOU'RE the ones asking them to CHANGE THEIR RULES because YOU prefer her to be recognized for her solo efforts instead of as a part of her group!?

If you want her to be treated seperately in these cases you'll just have to convince her to leave SNSD, but that isn't happening because she actually loves and respects her group and would love it if they could win. 

 

I don't understand why you're even bringing the others acting careers into this, drama awards don't have polls for kpop groups but if they did I'm sure Yoona would be a big help in winning it for SNSD.  

As for lightsticks lol did you really not see the drama when Yoonas vietnam fans used a different color?

As for her c-fans and KTYbar I'm not calling them all akgae, I called them solo stans which they quite obviously are. But if we're being honest you and I know damn well that some of them say horrible shit about the group and other members, I've seen it plenty of times on drugapplebar.

What's there to change when Gaon themselves actually acknowledge that it was a mistake on their part on not including Taeyeon's solo album, as well. 

That's what the fuss is all about- her fans only wanted her, as a solo artist, to also be included too. That's it.

Nothing about only Taeyeon and no SNSD mess- some fans terribly misunderstood. This drama shouldn't even be this big of a fuss.

I'm just gonna say it again; I think it's pretty shitty to speculate idols dating lives in general but it's EXTREMELY disrespectful to do now with the grief so palpable. We all saw they were closer than ever this year, how close is none of our damn business. Let those who knew him mourn in peace, in whatever way they see fit.

I stayed up to stream her comeback stage and it was worth it!

I only paid attention to her voice.. and man, that was amazing- was so impressed by her.

Watching it a second time and I could finally focus on her stage, outfit, accessories.. I loved it all!
