omg lol but great timing that we were both posting it at around the same time though! I actually had no idea what his name was so I googled around until I found a Polish name that seemed to fit the Hangul lmao :x I'm glad Sami's back since he's a familiar face and he had interesting things to say last year when he was a guest. It's great that Abnormal Summit finally has a permanent cast member to represent South America!

The new cast members were revealed: Andreas (26) from Greece Nikolai (28) from Norway Przemysław (31) from Poland [not sure if I got his name correct] Carlos (30) from Brazil Yuta (20) from Japan Sami (26) from Egypt (he made an appearance in episode 11 as a part-timer)

^ The Chinese remakes don't bother me that much since they paid the Korean PDs/networks for the rights and it's not exactly stealing viewers away from the original Korean shows. If you check out Chinese social media sites and video streaming sites, the Korean shows still get tons of viewers and are subbed in Chinese pretty fast for fans to watch. The Korean side gets a lot of money and can win over lots of Chinese viewers too, like I'm sure Kim Jongkook got paid a lot of $$ to make appearances in the Chinese Running Man TV show and movie. We also hear about Korean PDs trying to sell their TV show ideas to other countries so we know it's not a one-sided thing, plus they get a lot of money out of it too once a Chinese network picks up the show idea. I think the only Korean -> Chinese remake that has surpassed the popularity of the original version would be Dad! Where Are We Going? since both seasons of the remake were huuuge in China whereas the Korean version had a huge decrease in popularity and ended up getting cancelled. I find it's easy enough to ignore the Chinese remakes (as a foreign fan) since, besides the Running Man remake, we don't hear news of them anyway. I wish the Chinese Abnormal Summit luck though. When the news first came out about it, I saw a bunch of Chinese netizens were unhappy with the remake (the KRN version has a lot of fans there). IDK how well it will do tbh since there's probably a lot of certain issues they wouldn't be allowed to talk about in regards to China, or maybe since they're foreigners the network will allow them to talk more freely (including criticisms) of China. Who knows. Back to the Korean Abnormal Summit! I CAN'T WAIT FOR JAMES. ;_; I wonder what words of wisdom he will bring for us this time! I watched episode 1 of Where Is My Friend's Home? and it's exactly as I thought it would be - IT'S AWESOME. I laughed so much and the people who edited it clearly had a lot of fun working on it. Alberto... oh Albe! I can't wait for episode 2.

Promotional photos for a new JTBC show: "Where is my friend's home?" Starring Abnormal Summit's: Zhang Yuan, Yoo Seyoon, Alberto, Julian, Guillaume and Tyler. They went to Anshan, China for 6 days and 5 nights to experience and learn about Chinese culture. It will air in late January! I'm not sure if this is a one-time thing because as far as we all know, they only went to China to film this in late 2014 and they haven't left Korea to film any other possible episodes. Maybe after they air it JTBC will see how viewer reactions are, and if there's lots of positive feedback then they'll go to another home country of one of the Abnormal Summit cast members? Either way I'm looking forward to this! 6 days and 5 nights is a really long time and I'm sure they got lots of great footage from their trip.
