I agree that the thread can sometimes get messy when shipping wars happen but i find it nice when people post why they think certain ships may be real (as in romantic). Regardless of whether ships are romantic or not they're built on genuine relationships between human beings and I just feel that it's nice to see people showing affection to each other, and even if they're not romantically involved it doesn't mean they couldn't be physically attracted (which then contributes to how much they "ping") you know? And honestly it's hard to talk about individual idols without mentioning their dynamics with other people (especially w bandmates), unless we grasp on stereotypes (which is wrong).

He's one of the first ones who pinged me; and it seems like he'd be a lot more touchy if his members reciprocated more since Jun pinged me and I bias S.Coups, i noticed Jun seems to crave for his attention, but S.Coups doesn't interact with him as much as with all the other members (I'm guessing it's a compatibility thing), so his desire for his attention might just stem from Coups being a leader and him wanting to fit in more, but i dunno, Jun pings me hard.

For me it's more of a vibe thing--when straight guys/girls do seemingly romantic stuff with people of the same gender it doesn't give off the same vibe/chemistry as non-straight people do (or regardless of orientation it's easy to tell if they mean it as a total joke or if they semi-mean it); like another poster says, it's more of the reaction than the action? because actions are often done after conscious thinking but reactions aren't. People also ping me more when they seem flustered by another person's actions *cough* so many people *cough* And on Larry, I think they genuinely were attracted to each other very much. Don't know about now but they were very very obvious to me (as a non-fan). I quoted another poster a while ago, but they said sth along the lines of "it's not easy to tell if someone's gay, but it's obvious when people are in love", which i think sums up a lot

About Wonho (i know i'm late haha), I think someone made a post(s) about him and Jung Daeun (the ulzzang in green) being really good friends; apparently there was a rumor of him bearding for them ("them" because I'm not sure how they identify as) to shield them from homophobia? Like he pretended to be their boyfriend. Don't know if it's true, but if it is, kudos for him Also, both of them are really hot Judging from his interactions with Monsta X members, I think, and it's more of a vibe thing, that he's always been more conscious of the queer-baiting/homoerotic nature of fanservice; like Minhyuk I think he's gay and comfortable, but his affectionate nature also plays into his fanservice, but Wonho's always seemed like he's either VERY into it, or shies away from it completely (e.g. that Deokspatch episode when he talks about Minhyuk being "overly touchy") i dunno, he doesn't seem straight to me

It's interesting how S.Coups pings a few people He doesn't ping me as gay per se, but Hoshi, Jun and Mingyu give stronger vibes to me, and Jeonghan is interesting because he just has that veryyy chill vibe, like he's very comfortable with himself, regardless of sexual orientation. Maybe that has something to do with him being in the eldest-hyung line? If anything he seems comfortable teasing his members into the gay zone that's for sure

Mingyu x Wonwoo (Meanie) has been the most popular ship since pre-debut (other than Jeonghan x SCoups/Joshua), but i've always felt that they feel awkward about the whole shipping thing. They're real in the sense that they're genuinely best friends (and who knows there could be more), but they were definitely more showy pre-debut After debut i feel like there's a consensus between them to tone down interactions on camera (like they rarely pose next to each other or do the blatant stuff that SCoups and Jeonghan do), so i was a bit surprised they choreographed that bit into their performance i think they're still as close, only burdened, maybe, by the extent that fans ship them that perf tho was hot...i watched the non-slowmo fancams and it seems that Mingyu actually kissed his hand, like not just brushing by hmm must be fun rehearsing that
