for discussions on them type their names in the search bar above they've been discussed a lottttt in my head A-list would be groups that've won at least once; from what i observe in idols' interviews and stuff, any group that's won once are already considered "number 1 singers" and or "trending", "hot", groups, so Infinite'd definitely be on there; and even with SJ and Exo not every member is well-known, so individual members' popularity isn't really a criteria at all. btw how are L and Sunggyu not considered A-list tho? genuinely curious and someone mentioned older groups like Shinhwa too and i think that's a possibility: Hyeseung and Junjin pinged me hard the first time i watched their running man episode

Ikr i was laughing so hard at that and their reactions the production team played it off as if the teacher's telling a lie to "cover up" for his popularity, but like we all know i also didn't like how they took "popularity" (ingi in Korean) as "being popular with girls only". I didn't follow them pre-debut, but from the clips that i've seen Jeonghan does seem pretty distant from the others (or at least on camera); that might have to do with him being a new member then, but i get what you mean--Jeonghan is a really chill person, and seems to be very comfortable with himself. And about that melancholic air, i think i've said this in a previous post, but that sad air does speak to me as a LGBTQ* person--i've also been told i carried that air around me, and that was the most obvious when i was 15, having a straight crush on someone for the first time (and realizing it)...it comes from internalizing homophobia/transphobia, and basically the bad things that i sense from society, and feeling that there's sth i have to hide. Anyway, i've thought about this melancholic vibe for a while now, and i reckon that's why people who may not be stereotypically gay ping me (like V and Ken)--they carry that melancholic vibe, even if they're generally very upbeat people Jeonghan's an interesting case, that's for sure
