  1. Back OT -I could see Lee Joon as bisexual, there was something he said on some show before that I found somewhat suspicious (but I cannot for the life of me find it again so I'll let it go for now), but I do think he dates (quite a few) girls anyways so I don't think that he's strictly only into dudes. When Joon was on Strong Heart before, he mentioned that he went through his ex's phones before (he's apparently quite obsessive), and saw that they were meeting up with Go Youngwook (yes, the nasty-ass pedo guy), so he apparently broke up with them. Of course, he could have switched the genders, but I'm more inclined to think that his ex's were actually female in this case. -For Onew, the rumors of Onew-Jungah honestly precede the pap pics. There was sometime around 2012 era where there were fanaccts of them holding hands or something backstage or near the dressing room or w/e, and that a few i-fans had a mini-breakdown denial stage lol. If it was set-up, then it was set-up for a while then, but tbh I don't think their relationship is fake anyhow. I think most kfans thought they were dating anyways since they were linked together on some compiled list of dating rumors. This doesn't mean he's necessarily "straight," but I don't find their relationship particularly fishy.
  2.   Nope. The most you'll get is somewhat vague hints. Public admission would very likely be career suicide at this point.
  3. I do actually agree somewhat. The boob staring was an exaggeration of sexual attraction on my part. The issue I usually have with body language though is that people's interpretation of such is often so prone to bias that it's hard to take "(lack of) interest in women" alone as evidence of one's sexuality, unless if they have interacted with plenty of women on a regular basis (plenty, since not every guy is going to be attracted to every female they meet). Personally, I would find it highly suspicious if someone was sneaking glances at someone else, especially if that someone else was a stranger. However, when it comes to people that already know each other -such as friends -interpreting body language to distinguish the difference between platonic, romantic, or sexual becomes a bit harder, and it becomes harder to agree. Perceiving a lack of interest, also tends to be harder imo, since the majority of people tend to be more selective in who they find attractive. Chen may be interested in ZLY, but may not be interested in Dara; Baekhyun might like Lee Yubi and/or Taeyeon, but might think that almost every other girl is incredibly unattractive. <- I honestly don't follow exo, these are just examples Anyways, not trying to rain on people's parades here since obviously body language is inevitably going to be one of the factors that people are going to look at since no idol is going to just out themselves verbally. Just that I think it's more reliable to just point out attraction towards males rather than note lack of attraction towards females. The former, in which, a lot obviously point out as well, but the latter is almost always superfluous. For the Baek-Yubi thing, there were supposedly rumors of them before, but I've never delved much into that so not much to say other than if that's true, then Jjong's scandals are hilarious and boy's on a roll. First Onew, and then Baekhyun. Breaking hearts everywhere.
  4. How does one tell if male idols aren't actually interested in women though? I see that line of reasoning used a lot, but I don't really think we're in a position to see enough of these celebs in diverse settings with the opposite gender to actually determine whether it's true or not. I mean, if you think about it, which male idols can we actually say openly displays legit romantic/sexual attraction towards females? We rarely see male/female interaction, much less in a non-staged, unprofessional setting. Typically, the most we get is "ideal types" or standard fanboying. Even if a male idol is caught ogling a female, over here, one can still argue that staring at breasts is no indication of legit sexual attraction (i.e. Taemin, not that I think he's gay anyways though, but for the sake of discussion). It's considered rude to interact sexually or suggestively with females in public (the obsession with manner hands tbh), and even staring in the vicinity of some woman can warrant criticism or embarrassment if a photo is taken just right. Realistically it's not like these male idols are going to be shamelessly checking out women, or making it known that they want to be all up in them boobies, even if they really want to. I mean, the only idol that I can think of atm that was literally shamelessly faceplanting into some woman's boobs is pretty much gay.
  5. From what I gleaned from the ex-yg trainee q&a, krystal does seem to be a person that could be rather close to quite a few people in yg, but if the dating scandal does involve her, it's prolly more likely to involve Taehyun than TOP.
  6. oh cool, I haven't read her soompi account stuff yet. Though I don't think I have the willpower to sift through the lesbian thread (maybe one day though since it would take a lot less time than ever going through this one anyhow lol). Yeah, I get what you mean esp. since I usually don't consider "vibes" terribly convincing as well. It took me a while to remember where it came from (it's been a while) but here's the clip. I dunno if he forgot there were cams there or what but w/e.
  7. tbh I have a hard time taking that post at face value when the person implies that touching/kissing or w/e that is perceived as "fanservice" to Americans isn't actually fanservice, but a way for kpop dudes to let people know that they're okay with male on male interaction. While I wouldn't be surprised to see that the ones that are more fanservice-y tend to be more okay with gays/ gay interaction, Korean culture is kind of different from kpop culture, where homoeroticism is obviously also used to appeal to fanbases as a marketing tool (kissing games, obvious shipping, the entirety of SJ). Even though I do suspect a lot of the same people on the list, it kind of seems like a re-hash of half of the other posts on kps, but if it is legit, then hopefully there might be more basis behind it than so-and-so idol is too girly to be straight. For key and amber, I think a lot of fans merely jump to that conclusion because they fit into gay/lesbian (diva/butch) stereotypes which is kind of...not that reliable sometimes, but I do think that key is very likely to be gay because he just consistently associates himself with a lot of lgbt paraphernalia and other lgbt icons for it not to be suspicious, on top of just outright kind of tasting some other dude's arm/arm sweat/sweat or w/e, which is ...pretty gay. The only other explanation is that he is just one very lgbt-friendly individual, and was feeling particularly high, horny, or confused at the time -which is less likely than him just being gay imo. As for Amber, I wouldn't be surprised if she were lesbian, but I have yet to see something that indicates some kind of primary attraction towards females, so I don't really have an opinion on that one.
  8.   I don't think it's possible for Eunjung to address her sexual orientation anything beyond ambiguous statements such as â€œI want to meet someone by fate at Tokyo Tower… I don’t care whether that person is a male or not, I just want to meet someone amazing,” which, imo, is already a pretty interesting statement for an idol already. While Witch Hunt is the kind of program where celebs can talk about dating and sexual issues, it's not really the type of program where you would really want to out yourself (which I highly doubt she would want to do to begin with). So even if she isn't bisexual, and just purely lesbian, she would still talk about her "male ideal types," or imply that she is primarily attracted to males.    Of course she could be straight, but imo, the possibility of her being lgbt is significantly higher than the possibility of her being straight, since I think completely straight individuals have a little less reason to make ambiguous/risky statements regarding sexual orientation that make them stand out a little more among their peers.    The fact that she was on WGM doesn't really help my suspicions either, though, of course there are quite a few non-lgbt idols on that show as well anyways.    I've always thought that there was ~80% chance for Taeyeon to be lesbian or bisexual honestly (for somewhat similar reasons as Eunjung), and the scandal with Baekhyun hasn't really changed my mind. Though I do think there's a higher chance of them dating than not anyways.
  9. To be fair oniontaker also said that he would be willing to lie or do anything to help keep an idol's sexuality a secret in order to protect them. Though, imo, I do think they were dating anyways.
