  1. Hey guys, long time no post here. I've been busy with work but I've never stopped collecting his pics and reading his news in the Korean websites. Nobody except for maybe very few knows what Xiumin feels about Luhan's leaving, but I think he might be one of the few people who had knowledge of Luhan's leaving earlier than the others. They lived in the same house, you know, and he used to hang out with Luhan a lot till April when Luhan was spotted with Kris more often. I think he had prepared for and accepted the situation. However, I think he is doing his best to show the fans that EXO-M is not unhappy and they're not going down. Judging from fan cams and accounts, he seems putting even more efforts on performances and fan services after his friend left, and smiles more. I personally think it's more a facade and determination than feeling less of anything. A fan art of Xiumin in Showtime. Xiumin with baby Minseok I'll try to write more. I've missed you guys.
  2. All idol fans call themselves Mom, not just Tao fans, like Xiu mom, Lay mom, Chen mom, etc, so you don't have to over-analyze it in relation to Tao.
  3. I encountered this pic a few months ago and saved it because it was so funny and well represented K Tao fans. Their reputation is pretty much like this: They are not great in number but they fight aggressively and fiercely to protect Tao in the Internet--they're like fierce keyboard moms. Korean fans often call themselves "mom" so in this pic they refer to themselves Tao Mom. 1st scene is when Tao was injured by corals while filming LoJ and it's what they felt like to do. 2nd scene is about bugs 3rd scene is about how they fight against anti-fans and trolls in the internet.
  4. I don't know why single guys have to search Xiumin either, LOL. It was a totally unexpected appearance in the search ranking. Maybe they searched his name to find who the guy was, but some fans wrote that she was spazzing Xiumin with her brother or boyfriend. Who knows? As for the rumor about Xiumin's leaving EXO, it is totally fabricated as you are all likely to know already. I think the rumor started from some Xiuhan shippers who might jokingly and maybe hopefully fantasized about Xiumin leaving EXO, too, to study in Beijing and be reunited with Luhan. LOL In one of the interviews in China (I don't remember it was in 2012 or 2013), Xiumin said that he wished he could study Chinese seriously at a Chinese university. Also it is quite well-known among k-fans that Xiumin was exceptionally good at math and science during his school days. So people talked about their fantasy and it became a rumor. See how a rumor is created? I've seen a number of occasions such false rumors are immediately created on the spot at Korean internet communities, and people who hear bits of words and start to search in Naver and Google. Secondly, about him smoking being ranked high in Naver is because of a prank by a person. He/She made a post at a very popular community titled "A pic of Xiumin smoking" but the picture was some scary non-human entity. I think he/she used Xiumin's name to attract a lot of readers because he/she knows there are a lot of Xiumin fans or anti-fans who would immediately open that post and see that pic. So the pic got really famous with the title with Xiumin's name on it. I don't know whether Xiumin's smoking or not but I've heard a rumor that he very briefly smoked (prob. to lose weight, I think), but quit it shortly after. So he's not likely to smoke right now not that it's too much scandalous in Korea for a man of his age to smoke. SM Town concert rehearsal in Shanghai, 141017 Xiumin waving at fans at ICN this morning A fan account says that he waved at fans till he disappeared into the gate. Maybe he was saying to fans that he was all right.
  5. The pic is from the same day when they went to Chanyeol's dad's cafe. I've heard that Sehun's answer was he wanted to interact only with fans. But I think it's because some fans left comments about who he should follow and who he should not and he decided to make it all empty so that nobody makes any assumption or leaves a comment about it. Chanyeol's dad posted this pic and wrote "My sons." And the place is Chanyeol's dad's live cafe. I've heard that they went there together and had a small party a few days ago. There was a fan account a week or two ago that Areum manager and Xiumin were spotted together at a bookstore and they bought quite many children's books. The fan overheard Lay's name being mentioned. I think the books were actually for Chinese members to help their Korean study. The title of the story book Xiumin's reading in the pic is a Korean translation of "Monsieur Lion Chez Le Coiffeur." LOL I've read a Chinese staff account some months ago about Xiumin reading Chinese children's storybook in the waiting room, so apparently these adult guys are studying language with kids' books...so cute
  6. I read it from the Korean website, which cited Weibo, that the Chinese agency is planning a legal action against the staff member who took and posted the backstage photos. I've heard that all the Weibo photos were taken down after the warning. So I think it's also best for us to take it down as well.
  7. He's got a straight vertical line on either side of his belly (like this: 1 x 1) but not the whole six pack (no horizontal lines) in the pics we have seen that show his belly. I think she saw this pic:
  8. I don't think he'll get upset over this, since he and other members must know all sort of pics of the members were taken with them unknowingly and spread online. But the management might, since it's utterly unprofessional for the staff to do such things. So I think it's better to take the photo down.
  9. Here's a translation of the fan account: Since I'm a student, I went there in a school uniform. Me: Oppa, hello. Minseok: Are you a student? Me: Yeah, oppa. Minseok: How old are you? Because I was in hurry to tell him something my Xiumin-fan sister asked to tell him, I didn't answer and went straight on to say the thing. Me: Oppa, I happened to see your ab with a 11 shape on it, and I really liked it and liked it much better because it didn't have a six-pack. Then he gave me his wide gummy laugh. So I was really happy and asked him: Me: Oppa, hearts! He draw three small hearts...then looked at my face and drew a big heart for me. I got 4 hearts! Since giving them a present was not allowed, I gave him two candies. He said "Thank you" but gave them to Tao. That's the end. In conclusion, Xiumin is freakin' .... (hidden by a command tag) The last part is hidden by a command tag, but the vague letter looks to me, pretty.
  10. Ahh, I'm Korean, so Korean is my first language. Hi, I'm Jam, btw--nice to meet you! There was a Kolon fan sign meeting today and only 55 lucky fans (5 fans selected for each member) got to meet the members. Some Xiumin related fan accounts at Kolon fan meeting on 140919: A Luhan fan went to Xiumin to talk with him since Luhan wasn't present today. She asked him how Luhan was, and Xiumin said Luhan was all right now. She added Tao said something nice too but she didn't remember the detail but it's something along the line with that EXO will overcome whatever difficulty and rise again. But the manager stopped him and took him away. (Related to Tao's speech, another account was saying that Tao was quite serious and the atmosphere got kind of serious too, so probably that was why the manager stopped him.) A fan asked Xiumin on a post-it question, why he's so stingy about posting on Instagram, and asked him choose an answer, and he chose No. 4. "The reason why you're so stingy about posting on Instagram" (1) Once a year or so--that's how Insta is supposed to work. (2) Do I have an Insta ID? (3) I'm not an easy man...hahahaha (4) I feel shy and embarrassed...^^ (5) I'll try at least to put a dot in the future. (fan wrote: I recommend this) Edited] The exact comment he made at the fan meeting has been posted: Q: "EXO-L and EXO will be together forever, won't we?" Xiumin: "That's my kind of question that can be answered easily. Xiumin *hearteu* EXO. We are One, aren't we? Yes!!!! (he answered himself and LoLed.) You're EXO-L, aren't you? (Fans: Yes!!!!) And I'm EXO. We (EXO-L and EXO) are both EXO, so we are One. I don't really make a promise that I can't keep. Forever is not something one can say lightly. (Fans: Yes!!!) I hope we'll be together forever. This one is so moving because the way he phrased it is so realistic but sincere.
  11. LMAO. Actually Xiumin said Lay needs to be taken care of like a baby (the Korean word they used was "baby" not "kid"). I thought he was gonna say Tao, but so unexpectedly it's Lay--a guy who looks so mature. It made me laugh so hard! Xiumin's phone caller ring was Adam Lambert's "If I had you" and it was ranked high at a portal site a few hours ago: apparently his fans are trying to download it for their phones. I'm gonna download it, too. I also love Adam Lambert. The topic of the show today is "Who's the king of codes of conduct?" And Xiumin is ranked 5th for being considerate towards others. In this clip, SungKyu of Infinite is ranked 6th for paying back exactly what he's got. A related anecdote was his interview about him throwing away his mom's cosmetics after she had thrown away his baggy hiphop pants. LOL
  12. Korean sasaengs are not that many in numbers in reality because it's not a kind of life many can endure--it's very hard. At most just a couple or a few follow a member around at one time and that's not even all the time. They can pretty much walk around freely most of the times on the street. The reason why the situation in China with SuTaoHun was more serious than in Korea is because C-fans have far few chances to see EXO members than K-fans (since they mostly live in Korea), and it's their rare chance to see them closely. Also, considering their population, I'm not surprised that there were a considerably larger number of them (40 or so speeding cars?--it's crazy!). In Korea, if cars follow, it's likely not more than a couple and even this rarely happens. So it seems that the situation was really overwhelming there. The reason why you've never seen Suho, Kai, and CY never complaining about such things is because they were not exposed to the same thing and because they couldn't speak Chinese.
  13. I don't know whether it was yesterday or a few weeks ago, but Xiumin, Tao, and Sehun were spotted together at a skincare therapist's in Apgujeong-dong and some customers got their autographs. That's the autograph from the fan account from that skincare shop. ================== Xiumin was spotted yesterday on Sept 17th at a UNIQLO shop in Apgujeong-dong (near SM building actually) and a fan spotted him and got his autograph. Here's a fanaccount of her gushing over her lucky chance-meeting. She is an older fan (she said so) and she was using the k-pop idol slang "muggle" in a wrong way here. LOL When it actually means an ordinary person who is no fan of an idol group, she refers to herself as a muggle when she is actually Xiumin's fan. She was shopping at UNIQLO and saw the white MCM backpack Xiumin often wears at the airport and ran after him. It was really Xiumin. She really hesitated but called up her courage and asked him an autograph, and he signed on her book. While signing, Xiumin asked her: "But do you know me?" (Probably he asked this question because he thought that older people who do not follow idols much wouldn't know him and wondered about it. He still doesn't seem to know how well-known and popular he is in Korea. LOL!) Fan: "Yes, you're Mr. Xiumin." Since the lady didn't have a pen and she borrowed one from a UNIQLO staffer, and she said she kept the pen herself because Xiumin touched it. She's such a cute lady! LOL
  14. Welcome to Xiuharem! Thanks for posting fun threads from Pann. I really love this picture. He's got all in his small package and it all shows in this pic: handsomeness, prettiness, fairiness, and cuteness. I'll also try to chip in more whenever I've got free time.
  15. Came here to post the same thing. Two of them are dancing like Korean grandpas.
  16. The twitter account says that Xiumin and Tao filmed something at a Swarovski store. Nobody knows what it was about. The ice cream thing is made by a Korean fan. She just matched flavors of Baskin Robbins ice cream to EXO members. She matched Xiumin to Rainbow Sherbet flavor. BTW, EXO-K seems to be filming a Baskin Robbins CM along with f(x) or Red Velvet (Idk which one).
  17. The show is called "Eumdam Paeseol" which literally means "dirty talk" but I think they might be using it for some other meaning that I don't know. I've never watched the whole show except for a few short clips, so I don't know the exact format and direction of the show in general. This clip is about how some fans spend a lot of money on buying goods of their idols, and the show happened to interview a Xiumin fan. She said that the goods are not too expensive and that she buys them because they make her happy. She said that the most expensive one she bought was just about $100, Xiumin's Mama photocard that she bought at a Japanese auction site. Also, she said she was a GOD's fan and went their recent concert. Taewoo, a GOD member, asked her whether she bought their goods as well, and she laughed and said that sorry, she didn't, she just lives in the moment and buys only Xiumin's goods. In the end, Kim Gura somehow commented that she's not his type. I don't know why he said that but my guess is it's because she didn't say anything too controversial to make the show more interesting.
  18. Xiumin often does that kind of chores if you watch EXO shows or fancams. I think it's just his habit from his childhood--arranging things or doing small things like that (I guess he helped around at home, being the eldest and both his mom and dad working). But I know you're joking. GOD's Sohn Hoyoung also named Xiumin to be his next ice bucket challenger, but I'm not sure he'd do it because some nonfans are already saying that there are too many EXO doing it. I think the scene of XiuChan reaching out for each other's hands is from another show. At the SG show, only Kai and DO were flying on the cart. In general, such fancy imagery performances were reduced compared to the concerts in Seoul, I guess, because of equipment problems. My seat was about in the middle row of the 2nd floor (or the 1st floor excluding the standing sections), so it wasn't far from the stage but it was in the side of the front stage, so I couldn't see the inside part of the front stage. Also, I couldn't see the video screen well. When the members come to the stage in front of me, I could see them quite close and clearly. Unfortunately Xiumin came only once as though passing through on that stage. But when he stood on the front stage, he was standing on my side next to BH and Tao, so I could see a lot of his side profile. I took the pic of his approaching towards me while he was at the front stage. Since the center stage was quite away, I couldn't see them kissing close. TBH, it was all staged, I didn't feel anything. LOL But I did see a genuine moment of Xiuhan at the stage in front of me, when Xiumin was passing by, Luhan was there with his back towards me. I think it was when they were singing Love Love Love or 3.6.5. Xiumin gave Luhan a very warm smile as they stretched hands and gave five to each other. They were performing mostly at separate locations, so there wasn't a lot of interactions between them. DO I saw at the concert was pretty much like this: His face and body, all, looked cute. (He might not like this comment. ) I think Chen didn't have a good condition on that day because his voice sounded hoarse when I heard some parts of his singing. Also, it's possible that their mikes were not very good either. When Xiumin was making a serious face or dancing, he looked quite manly and mature. But he was unbearably adorable and cute when he was shaking his booty during the Gee and his solo performances. Also, in the pre-recorded video clip of Heart Attack, where the boys were running around the building in white costumes, Xiumin was shockingly pretty in his white hoody and a golden cap. So it seems that the feel of his face can change drastically according to expressions and styling. Ironically, one of Xiumin's nicknames in Korea is SM's princess. LOL I think all the guys are good looking and have a good presence on the stage and Kai was just one of the guys that I found a stronger presence than I expected along with Baekhyun. In particular, I was surprised at BH b/c I didn't expected it, TBH. Dancers in general looked more awesome than in video clips, so Kai indeed stood out even among them, with his long limbs and fluid moves. The other guys, like Lay, Sehun, and Xiumin, too looked more beautiful than in the video clips when they danced. This is what I feel the closest Kai looked like on that day except for the hair: I do think they sang LIVE most of the songs at SG, but backtracks were too loud, I guess, compared to their mic qualities. I just couldn't hear their individual voices well (which means they sang live). I could hear well choruses, Baekhyun's voice, Chen's high notes, and Tao's rapping (when he was at the stage in front of me). Anyway, what I did hear wasn't up par with the singers that I've heard at other concerts although they were all famously good singers in Korea and the U.S. and they all just sang without dancing. I guess I should try some other idol group shows to give a realistic comparison. LOL At some of the locations, I believe the audio facilities are not up to doing live, like some of the outdoor halls. But the SG concert hall was an indoor hall. Also, yeah it's true vocalization methods are important to have your voice undamaged. ============ BTW, another thing that I forgot to mention about Xiumin. Xiumin's real voice is thicker and heavier than what we hear from the recording. He's got the thickest/heaviest voice in M.
  19. I took some pics with my phone but I'm really sorry that their quality is not any good. And I didn't take many pics because (1) taking pics was banned and staff were warning people around, and (2) I realized that sneakily taking pics distracted me from the show. Here are some pics that I've taken, though: Lines at the North gate: Goods: I bought a brochure and light stick. BTW, don't buy the brochure; it's expensive and it's just 24 pics of the guys in black suit that you've all already seen. The Concert Hall before the show began: I don't know which song it was but they were performing on the center stage (you can see how far my seat was ): Then I didn't take any pics till the show ended and took some pics during the Encore session because that was when Xiumin was closest to me on that day. This is while Kai and Baekhyun were doing the Ice Basket mission. As soon as the ice box was brought out, Xiumin started to drag it to the stage. When Xiumin was walking towards my direction: Sorry this was the best I could do with my phone camera and nonexistent photo skills. If you're curious about guys' real life faces, here are my opinions. IMO, the guys basically look quite the same as their pics with the same styling of the hair. (I think they would look different irl on what day you've seen them.) Plus there's some undefinable aura to each member that I felt differently from pics or videos. IMO, Tao's Meipai on Aug. 24 shows the closest to what I perceived of the members on that day: http://youtu.be/NDlB59O2UMU Plus, the aura: 1. Xiumin is actually more manly than I expected. His dance movements are really energetic and big, so it made him look very manly except when he was shaking his buns cutely during Gee and his Solo performances. I also felt a certain distinct calmness about him, in a way like an island in the middle of all noises and craziness. That's actually to me what really sets him apart from the other members. Here are some pics that most resembled Xiumin at the Singapore TLP to my eyes: 2. Tao: One of the guys I could see real close. He actually looked fierce on that day rather than cute. He exactly looked like he was in his Mepai on 24th and this: 3. Suho: He's white rather than just fair. His skin tone was actually quite unusual--he's paper white. Other than that, he looked the same as the following pic, IMO: 4. Sehun: He was the second fairest guy after Suho. His face was narrower than the pic and his chin was quite pointy. His dance was much better irl than in videos. Also, he looked the same as in Tao's Meipai. 5. Kai: He's indeed better looking than his pics. I think it's because his face is more friendly irl and his skin actually glows. He has a tea-tone skin but somehow it glows pearly at the same time...maybe makeup? Anyway, he smiled a lot and it showed that he is very professional and gives all he's got in the performance (dances). I don't think any pics can capture Kai properly. He's more charismatic and has a stronger presence but at the same time looks softer than pics. 6. D.O. Kyungsoo: He's got the cutest face in EXO, IMO. He was indeed squishy. 7. Lay: He's prettier than in the pics. His face is narrower and his eyes look larger and prettier. A bit like the next pic but prettier and softer. 8. Chen Chen: Ahhh...he is another member that I looked most often and most closely. He did a lot of aegyos and he seemed to love to talk. He tried to talk a lot at the show whenever there was an opportunity. He was also one of the members who got the most cheers from the audience along with Luhan and Sehun--prob. that was why he was so eager to talk on that day. This is what he looked like on that day: 9. Luhan: He looks the same as in his pretty picture. His face is really small, though, while his legs are long. So he did look like a barbie doll, indeed with his face just being a tenth of this body. He also had this aura of warmness about him when he smiled. DO and Luhan looked much warmer in person than their 2D pics. 10. Chanyeol: Another guy who danced in front of me. He looked tired, but he's better-looking irl, IMO. His face and expressions are more mature than he appears on TV. 11. Baekhyun: Wow, this guy does have strong presence on the stage, which surprised me really. When he sang, he was quite charismatic while he looked like a puppy when he was playing around with his members. I could understand why he was one of the most popular members in EXO before the scandal. ========= About the show itself: The show started with Xiumin shouting some Chinese (?) phrases--I have no idea what they meant. I think they sang most of the songs live except for a few songs where K members had to sing in Chinese (I don't think they sang live) and Mama. As for solos, I enjoyed dancers and Tao's martial arts better than vocals. Some harsh words:
  20. I am in SG now, and will go back to Seoul today. I took some photos but none of them are any good b/c my seat was pretty bad. I could grab only a limited view section and Xiumin rarely came to my section. I could see him only as a Ken-size doll when he was on the center stage. But I could see a lot of Lay, Tao, Chen, Kai, Suho very close and a bit of Sehun, Chan & Luhan. I'll post more about it with pics when I get back home.
