Hello~ I wasn't in the fandom when the rumor about this happened. All I heard is that Taemin visiting there wasn't definite: Also mentioned here: But also, some guys were saying that as soon as Taemin turned legal, Key started taking him to the gay bars with him. There was also a rumor on a Korean gossip site about a “young male idol known for his cute looks and charms†had been frequenting gay bars recently, and a lot of people were saying that it was Taemin. But perhaps, you can explain more from what you've heard? Would it be too much if I ask you to share to me (PM?) what kinda unproven history (beside the gay club visit) and any other stronger base that are circulating among K/C LGBT people, fans, general public, about him fueling prediction that he might be gay? I mostly hear from fellow fans who prefer seeing him as straight so all I heard from them (claimed to be some ~insider info~) are bits proving his straightness only (although still nothing definite). I don't know how much ~forcing~ going on in wgm by whoever involved. It's not entirely fake show where everything there must be conditioned to match very strict scripts. The difference of him being on wgm and being on real strictly scripted situation (SBS The Heirs parody, for example) is obvious. I think the show is a mix of realness, exaggeration, and falseness. It could be Taemin, on his own accord, forcing/pushing/exaggerating himself to display a more entertaining persona, to hone his variety skills and to prove certain values he wants for himself. In order to do so, I sometimes think he must drains so much energy pushing himself to be like that. To me he seems to be in the middle. He seems straight sometimes but sometimes I see him being too welcoming/comfortable/permissive to whatever manhandling any other hyungs and even dongsaeng (like Kai) did to him (maybe I'm too much drowned in those shipper fancams lol) Oh and yeah It's not hard to believe that he has very low experience in love relationship, he's too busy improving himself as idols since very young.

For a long time, Taemin was the cute one, the baby, and he was always said to “look like a girl.†I think that bothered him a lot, and recently, he seems to be trying his hardest to be seen as a man. BUT! I think he’s still a bit of an innocent, and I think he’s still finding himself. I think he would like to think of himself as straight… but I think there’s a strong possibility that he has had attraction to other males. I don’t think he’s necessarily conflicted about that, but rather that he doesn’t know, yet. In the sense that he probably doesn’t really have a handle on his own sexuality, which is probably why it’s so hard to read him. Keep in mind that he’s still young. While he’s exiting his teens now, not everybody knows for sure what their orientation is in their teens. A lot of people don’t come to terms with it until their college years and beyond. Some people never really know for sure. And especially if he’s bisexual, it could be a confusing thing to navigate for him. I don’t think he really knows, yet. However, he doesn’t physically seem repulsed by the idea, and he does really like getting attention from his hyungs, which is why I leave it open.
