Like a number scale for how much lightening the photo has gone through? Such as a scale from 1-5, where 5 is our bronzed adonis. And 1 means he looks like he has spot reserved at the exhibition at madam tussauds? It might be a bit hard to remember sometimes and we have a lot of people who only post here occasionally. But I am at least still gonna keep using the word wax museeum. I swear the shit antis put him through makes me so mad. It is frustrating when I see people talking about Tao's "ever changing nose" and "multiple nose jobs" when it is the editing of his nose in photoshoots and even from some fansites. His nose today still looks the same as it did when they debuted. (I'm also very unsure if he even has done something with his nose pre-debute, even though it seems to be the general opinion in the kpop fandom. But I'm no expert at PS. ) Anyway, it was a long time since I saw that kind of discussing in the I-fandom at least. Still frustrating. Here is their weibo. And here is another unbleached picture from them. This one doesn't look lightened heavily either. Yeah, they do not seem to be big fans of Madam Tussaud.

I think I'll still think post some of the bleached and edited photos from certain fansties because they do take great pictures even though I think they more often then not go overboard with the lightening. But maybe I'll skip the overly edited ones or try remebering to put a "warning for overly edited Tao" if I post them. And I'll try look for more unbleached pictures and post them here under large and colorful headlines so that they are hard to miss. I can understand some editing for quality and such, and lightening of some pictures for dramatic effects, but when 95% of the pictures are ligthened for no apparent reason other than making him look like a ghost... Almost all HD photos of Tao that I've come across are edited lighter, which is a shame, so I'm not suprised that those were edited either. If anyone knows any fansites that goes light on the bleach, please recomend it. I didn't know you could edit picture back though, I don't have photoshop or any photo editing skills so I dont really know what can be done/undone . So maybe that first pic with his nose photoshopped is a re-edited darker and the lighter one the original? I don't know which is the first uploaded. It doesn't matter anyway. Someone decided to lighten it. I too find it upsetting that beauty "imperfections" are to be photoshopped to fit into the standard beauty mold. People looks different and I think it should be embraced instead of edited away. And as you said, it takes away from the photo and when lightened too much I think his face looses some of it's depth. Yeah, he really does look the best unedited. Maybe one of the resons people say he looks much better in real life than on photo is because of the heavy editing most of his HD photos goes though.

Sorry to butt into the conversation, but I get sad to see the majority of Tao's fansites editing his skin lighter on their HD pictures. Some worse than others. Sometimes they edit the picture so much that he looks almost transparent. Here for example is a photo from a news site: Her it is again, edited and reuploaded by a fansite: Was that really nessessary? It also buggs me when they edit his nose. This sometimes happens on photoshoots that get published, but I have even seen at least one photo from a fansite where they edited his nose beyond recognition. Oh, here it is: And ton top off it, I found the same picture but lightened even more, probably by another fan or maybe by the fansite itself. I have no idea by whom, but a lighter version of the same photo also exists on the intenet. It's here under the spoiler. Why?? I have gotten used to the lighning to some extent ( ) even though I find it sad, but when they alter his nose too.... Do they not find him attractive enough already?
