Me neither? I don't understand this. Like why couldn't Xiumin do aegyo just because he's the oldest? He's really suited for it. Sehun/Kai/Tao were the only ones who were allowed to do it. I hate the automatic maknae = cute routine for groups.

I don't know, I have never permanetly dyed my hair. But I know that they say bleaching is what damages your hair the most (and looking at friends who have bleached theirs, I am inclined to believe this). I don't think dying your hair back to the closest color is healthier than dying your hair another color. I think it is that when you color your hair back to the hair color closest to your own you then don't need to color it again when the roots grow out, thus letting new undamaged hair grow out without having two toned hair and having to do touch ups as often.

 

Sometimes I really feel bad for the youngest member, when they always get pushed into doing aegyo.Can't you rotate in between members? Because for some groups, there really seeems to be no one who actually likes to do it.

 

Aegyo seems to be a main staple of korean idol shows though....

True, almost all fandoms and idols get put through the fire from time to time on this forum. Sometimes is seems that OH is just full of drama starving vultures, waiting for the next scandal, no matter how small, just to pounce on the idol/fandom. And if the idol does as much as yawn before the first scandal has blown over they get roasted another round by the hungry vultures And when there is no scandal in a while, they complain about how booooring the forum is, so when an idol or fandom just puts a toe out of line they are on it as fast as they can to create the drama most of them claim to hate.

The first point I want to make is that Candy and Taozi are too cute!

 

Secondly, I second your opinion (lol I'm so repetitive sometimes). He's gotten much more relaxed and he doesn't have the fake, fried-hair and excessive makeup look an idol has- don't get me wrong, I love EXO and him when he was with them. He's gotten sexier because he's matured maybe? I used to see him as more cute but now he's just really balancing both.

Though his hair is still looks a bit fried. I think all the bleaching has taken it's toll and it needs to grow out again without being doused in chemicals. That's another reason why I'm so glad his hair is back to black. Other than that I like darker hair colors better on him than the blond/white.

 

I think with exo having a more "flower boy" concept overall made Tao's cute side be out more, though exo now seems to be heading into a more sexy concept now a days anyway. And also, that he was one of the youngest members. I have never really gotten the concept of the younger members always being asked to act cute in shows.

Personally, I think that he looks more rested now in generall, his dark cirles does not seem quite as dark anymore. And he also got away from some of the "too much make-up" styling that kpop idols are too often subjected to at events.

Not a legit list. EXO had a special stage at MAMA 2012, MAMA 2013 it’s hard to believe EXO will not attend MAMA 2014 in complete formation, it would be awful. EXO is nominated for the best male group, best artist of the year , best song, best dance performance, of course all members will attend.  If SNSD is nominated for an award the company will not send TTS to receive the award   Twitter is full of non-legit rumors.

 

I really hope you are right. I was a bit worried about that because of them promoting separately, but your mention of both sub units perfoming in 2012 at MAMA awards even though they promoted separately that year is a bit reassuring.  I guess that as long as the album sales from both M and K are counted together as one (at least I think they are counted together to give EXO higher album sales ), they will all be there.

I love what he does on stage and how he gets the fans into it. I just like three fact that he talks to them a lot, I feel like he makes a big arena feel a lot smaller and more personal.

This is my favorite part from The Lost Planet:  Tao's martial arts sequence followed by Heart attack. The way he initiates the "heart attack" pulling a hood over his head and goes backstage + VCR is the coolest part of their concert. I still remember their shocked reaction in "The strongest group" when the MC told them that Chinese fans' favorite EXO song is "Moonlight" and all of them  were expecting to be Growl no.1 . If I tell them that my favorite EXO song is "Heart attack" ... they will have a heart attack

It would be really cool with a XiuTao martial art stage together in a show. Though I don't think it will be likely that they be stage fighting against each other on stage in the near future, but a stage where they trade of showing of moves would be cool.

I always was a little bit disappointed that it was Kai and Luhan who did the "fight off" on stage during mama awards in 2013 instead of some of the members that actually have some martial arts training, but Luhan and Kai had the main roles in the whole drama so that's how it had to be for the story line to continue.

Exactly! I was so impressed with how XiuTao covered Lu's parts. They did excellent and it really showed me the potential and opportunity they would get if M continued as a unit. XiuTao would be so shafted and ignored if EXO only continued as a whole and I would hate having to hear only one line (or even less) from them per song. Wolf and Growl were already too minimal for me

 

I'll see if I can find more pictures from MAMA era. I know there was a lot of selcas and BTS photos of them together during that time, but many I've found is not in very high quality. I'll keep looking.  In general it seems  that many of their cute moments are captured by fancams or happens in the background of some radio show so that often rules them out as badge material.

 

A duet or at least a special stage between these two would sure be interesting to see.    From time to time I wonder if we ever will get to see anything of Xiumins martial arts becuse from what I've heard he is trained in kendo and in taekwondo. 

 

The korean version of wolf and growl was sad when talking about the line distribution for these two. At least Tao had more parts in the chinese version, but Xiumin... not so much

I agreed. I love how they both have manly faces with also a hint of feminine features. It gives them such an interesting look and it's why I find their faces to be so exotic-looking and reallly refreshing     I wonder if maybe this is the start to them doing more model-like photoshoots. Yes, I am too hoping that they'll keep the subunits and not just mesh them together. Seeing the fancams from their overdoese (chinese version) performance from SMTOWN Shanghai made me wish for it even more. Tao covered Luhan's part in the beginning and Xiumin covered his parts in the bridge. I really wish that M is still kept active, and that exo will continue to promote chinese versions because if they don't, then I predict that both Xiumin and Tao (and probably Lay too) will be shuffled into a corner of the stage and get very few parts. And I'd probably have to say good bye to rapper Tao, and he has been improvong lately so I would find that very sad, but his korean is still heavily accented so no chinese version = hardly more than a line for Tao

Tao really believes exo as a group. He has always been the biggest OT12 shipper since the beginning, and then OT11, and now OT10.   Yeah, I don't really think we'll have to fear him leaving before his contract is up at least. That's why it baffles me that some people are speaking like Tao will be the next one to jump the ship. I guess they don't really follow him that closely.

 

I really hope that no more members will leave and that they as a group will find their footing with the public again after this though year they've been going through. I also hope he won't get hate for the cartier bracelet. I remeber the vertu mess far too well.

YES. Xiu has been looking so striking in their photoshoots and Tao is always slaying the model look as always. I want a runway from Tao one day 

 

I love the Swarovski photoshoot so much. It made me wish for even more magazine features from the both of them. I think they both have such interesting features that aren't what you normally expect and that's why I always find their pics as one of the best!

 

 

I'm trying to think of possible pictures for the badge. Any you have in mind ? ^^ I've included the Swarovski. Lottee Duty and Vogue girl shoots. I'm trying to look around for possible HQ screencaps too (like how the XiuChen badge is made from one)

Tao on a real runway is definitely something I want to see. The seoul fashion week opening left me wanting for more, it wasn't nearly enough.

 

One thing I think both Tao and Xiumin have in common is, despite their very differnt looks, that they have somewhat feline fetures. I really hope this trend with them paired together for photo shoots will continue because it is very pleasing to my eyes.

 

I don't have any particular image in mind at the moment, but even though I love these handsome pictures lately, I really would like a cute, playful one the most because that is what their friendship is. But I don't know if we can find one of those that we can use for a badge. I'll look around too for good pictures.  But I wouldn't really complain if we ended up using one from their smoking hot photo shoots either.

Tao was amazing in Law of the Jungle. It was such a fun episode.

 

 

  I'm happy that he seems to be well received. Tao really is an entertaining individual just by being himself.

 

 

Seeing Tao eating that sour orange in LOTJ and liking it reminded me of an old interview, where they are playing a game of sort and the loser has to eat a lemon and Tao basically volunteers to take on that punishment because he wants to eat the lemon.
