Assuming this is true: 50% Digital Sales (streaming + downloads) 15% Online Voting (MelOn) 20% Physical Sales (Hanteo) 15% Ranking from Professionals & Expert Judges (MBC Music) Someone said Taeyeon got about 1.5 times BtoB's digital and Zion T got twice Taeyeon's, therefore: Zion T 2(1.5y) = 3y --> 54.54% --> 0.5 (54.54) = 27.27 Taeyeon 1.5y --> 27.27% --> 0.5 (27.27) = 13.64 BtoB y -->18.18% --> 0.5 (18.18) = 9.09 Total is 5.5y, so to get the percentage, the 3 above should be divided by 5.5y and multiplied by 100. This means the Taeyeon's advantage in digital is only about 4.55 points. I don't know Kyuhyun's physicals but I'm putting him at 32k, just a little above BtoB's. Since it's most likely higher than that, it means it would eat away from both Taeyeon and BtoB's points even more. I actually played around with the numbers (I love excel because it makes it so easy to do so with the program) and the difference for Taeyeon and BtoB's digital is 2.12 to 1.93 when the physicals is changed from 32k to 40k. Kyuhyun 32k --> 37.65% --> 0.2 (37.65) = 7.53 Taeyeon 22k --> 25.88% --> 0.2 (25.88) = 5.18 BtoB 31k --> 36.47% --> 0.2 (36.47) = 7.29 I'm now ignoring the other artists in the other voting categories because they obviously are not having issues with the win. Taeyeon 79% --> 0.15 (79) = 11.85 BtoB 15% --> 0.15 (15) = 2.25 Dang, BtoB got trampled here. Lesson: Don't underestimate voting even if it's only 15%. Broadcast/Judges: Taeyeon 0% --> 0.15 (0) = 0 Did I need to compute this? BtoB 100% --> 0.15 (100) = 15 So I'm assuming they maxed this out; I'm biased that way. Okay, fine... BtoB 82% --> 0.15 (82) = 12.30 Yes, I used excel again to see what the minimum score BtoB needs to get for a win over Taeyeon. Is it impossible for BtoB to get a score of 82% or higher from this category? Yeah... Totals: Taeyeon 13.64 + 5.18 + 11.85 + 0 = 30.67 BtoB 9.09 + 7.29 + 2.25 + 12.30 = 30.93 See, Taeyeon's fans should blame Zion T and Kyuhyun for eating away at Taeyeon's numbers; or simply show up on the show and even a lackluster performance (not quite possible since she's considered a pro) would seal the deal in her favor. Now, if someone could give me a set of more exact numbers, I can revise these numbers and maybe get the impetus to post that more reliable set of numbers. Yes, that's sooo annoying, Even DM is weird these days, he makes me delete king of masked singers videos... some episode of the village that were post in DM are deleted now. I discute with sungjaelly and she said she can't post all the videos she want in DM, so she uses google drive, I think I will try it too.
