Hm... 7 rumored members and 5 yet to be confirmed. I guess I shouldn't look into the rumored members too much, with the exceptiom of the 90% confirmed, until further information is released. I remember it was like that for Nine Muses, and I was disappointed when some of the rumored members didn't debut.

ahh its kool. when someone new wants to learn about a group an offical thread is super useful. i think all akb48 sister grous should have them even if they dont end up getting super busy.

lol yeah some were deleted. Yeah I'm definitely hope this thread could serve some use since I'm super bad with keeping up with Japanese artists, especially since NMB48 does all these line-up changes.

NMB48 (read "N.M.B. Forty-eight") is a Japanese idol girl group that debuted in July 20, 2011 as the second sister group to AKB48, representing Osaka. It is produced by Akimoto Yasushi (the source of our dreams and frustration) and is currently signed under laughed out loud! records. The group performs regularly at the NMB48 Theater which is located in the basement of the Yes-Namba Building in Namba, Osaka, owned by Yoshimoto Kogyo. The name "NMB" comes from "Namba" (as in NAMBA 1 hurrdurr) in the Minami district in Osaka.

I've been lurking this thread so I decided to make an account and join hello all!

I originally started following this group about a year (or so?) ago, when I heard about possible JYP trainees for a new girl group. The members I saw were Nayeon and Hanwon. I kept my eye on this group because I really liked Hanwon, but it seems likely that she's not even a trainee anymore :\ so I guess my favorite would be Nayeon now lol. I'm realllly excited for these girls to debut! Seeing all the pictures and rumors are getting me more and more interested. Is their expected debut month still May?
