and ever since then it just spread like fire, everywhere I go for Yoongi now- that’s what people are talking about. That’s also the reason why SeeSaw’s ‘fanchants’ are being retweeted like crazy. Its either, ARMY’s did SeeSaw wrong or, LA ARMY’s were dead last night, and I don’t understand how people are basing this off of fancams from lives that some times get muted or lagged asdfghjkl. Legit trying not to completely lose my mind right now, but a good portion of Twt army’s are starting to piss me off- like how are you going to swear by one fancam and then state like it’s a fact that no one cheered for Yoongi and that he got embarrassed by LA army’s? Yoongi had paused so abruptly during his song it must have startled some people and to top it off it’s not like those army’s in attendance spoke fluent Korean to have been able to sing that specific verse. And now everyone who’s defending LA Army’s are being called fake OT7 fans, and that those ‘fake army’s’ who were in attendance shouldn’t have attended and let the ‘real army’s’ attend? Like what? How do you run with something so baseless even though none of ya’ even attended the show??? I’m sorry for my rant, I just really had to get this off my chest because something very similar had started about the concert I attended last year just from one fancam ^^;

you know i've been stanning kpop for 11 years and i still do not understand this kind of behavior... like if you love them why would you get in their personal space, shove a phone in their face, and make it hard for them to move much less breathe?? i don't get it. do that many people really just not have common sense or self restraint? ugh

I've always thought this as well! Especially when they sings in their lower registers, as soon as either of them go up a bit they sound less and less like each other. I saw a comparison on twitter when Epiphany was released and they sounded scarily similar :>

yeah i went and listened to awake and now i hear it there too when he's singing lower, but like you said as their voices go higher they sound different since taemin's a little husky and softer while jin is more whiney (which isn't bad, it's just how he uses his voice). but man, when jin sings really low it's scary how much he sounds like taemin lmao.

 

on another note, at times jin and jimin sound like each other when they're singing in higher registers. until a few months ago i didn't even realize in the studio version of dope jin's part was actually jimin singing. and in fake love they sound similar in the chorus i got so confused.

 

ugh jin is so versatile he got a bitch constantly fucked up what a king

after giving the album a few more listens i'm gradually warming up to all the songs i didn't like before. i quite enjoy them now. the only one i still don't like is i'm fine and i don't think i'll ever warm up to it tbh. definitely idol, epiphany, and serendipity full ver are my faves.

 

also is it just me or does jin's voice sound a lot like taemin's in the first 45 seconds? i thought it was a song of his a few times when it came on and i was like 'huh i don't recognize this song from his drip drop album' before i realized it was epiphany and now i can't unhear taemin at the beginning lmfaoooo.

I'm honestly not attacking you, most people judge a comeback by listening to the title track

jeez man it's just my opinion you dont have to agree with me but I know what I said. I'm not really talking about their title tracks, clearly idol was a unique song, I'm talking more about their album tracks.

honestly, this is so different than the bangtan i started stanning, not in a bad way, but i find it difficult for myself to get into their newer music as easily. i still love them just as much and i'm so happy to see them grow and succeed but i think this album has made me realize i really miss the old bts, which is funny cuz i used to roll my eyes at people who said that but after stanning from debut and looking at them now, i wish i felt as connected to their sound as i did during their beginning years. they were so unique and it was rare that i disliked a song but now i feel like they're starting to sound like everyone else

ok so now that the hype has calmed down, after listening to the album, out of the 10 new songs (not counting remixes) i only liked four
