  2.   http://www.oricon.co.jp/rank/js/d/2015-11-02/   Exo sold 61,649 copies on the first day.
  3. Hi, I am a fan of TVXQ. I saw that you give out the awards for TVXQ. Is there a way I could get one?

  4. Ahhhh, just for Oricon, alright. Because there is that miniscule 200,000 of TVXQ's Japanese products that were sold in Korea which were counted by MIAK and Gaon.
  5. [quote name="fantomas" post="9721536" timestamp="1440611331"]Wikipedia is never a good source  But yeah, with the release of new DVD, total sales of TVXQ just passed 9 million copies. Just that I haven't update the front page yet. Please be patient Yea, I understand the whole Wikipedia deal, but if you review the list there is nothing out of the inordinary, and no sales are "made up." But my bad, I didn't know it was only based on the Oricon figures. I also thought the Japanese sales in foreign charts also counted.
  6. 1. Oh, about TVXQ's The Best Selection, Avex reported a sale of about 700,000 after Oricon stated it sold 568,000 copies. 2. And TVXQ's 2009 DVD sold 270,000 copies. But even if we give it the lower number, TVXQ's total Japanese sale exceeds 9 million copies.
  7. I counted TVXQ's Japanese sales in the Korean wikipedia which included TVXQ'S Japanese sales in both Japan and korea, and I came up with 9.1 million copies tho.
  8. Oh, Jurina is releasing her first photobook, lol....
  9. Pretty much what the above person said.... In Terms Of Overall Success TVXQ > BoA > > > > > > > SNSD > KARA > > > > > Big Bang, 2PM > Shinee > > > > The New Groups Currently TVXQ > > > > > > > > > > > > SNSD > > > > > Big Bang > KARA > 2PM > Shinee > > > > The New groups BoA had a temporary popularity. Now, she is inactive.
  10. The thing about Exile is this group feeds on one member that is Atsushi. Takahiro is young and all, but he kind of sucks tbh in singing compared to other singers in Japan. Once Atsushi leaves, the group will probably die out. Sandaime Soul Brothers is basically the same as Exile with 2 main vocals in the group. The thing is both vocalists in Sandaime are pretty much like Takahiro. None of them really stands out very much. But I like them more, because I feel like their vocals balance each other well. And the dance moves such as the moves in Ryusei is more intense than that of Exile. Yes, Arashi has to leave, and come back once they can sing for real.
  11. Learn the facts before you spew out nonsense. If TVXQ did get help from BoA they should have sold at least 200,000 copies for their first singles, and albums. You want to know how much TVXQ's first single sold in Japan? 4,000 copies.... BoA did a great job herself in becoming successful in Japan, but it did not help other kpop groups at that time such as TVXQ, or SS501 to be successful such as what TVXQ did to Girls Generation, and KARA.... It depends on what kind of impact each group has on the country. Of course BoA, and TVXQ both faced numerous hardships in Japan. TVXQ had an immense impact in Japan, learning its culture, and language from scratch, and that really convinced the Japanese people to know more about them, and the other kpop groups. The hype don't just happen through media, and massive exposure, lol. The reason why Psy's Gangnam Style despite the huge media exposure did not affect Japan was because there was nothing interesting about kpop anymore that time during 2012. The majority of the kpop popularity can only be created if there is some kind of force that is creating it in Japan, and that was TVXQ.
  12. Lol, r u delusional. Of course, TVXQ played a major role in Girls Generation's success in Japan.... Do you honestly believe if Girls Generation started without kpop awareness started by TVXQ, they would have sold 860,000 copies in Japan? Kpop was already becoming a syndrome as the people who knew TVXQ started to listen to various other kpop groups as TVXQ was nowhere in the jpop scene. Girls Generation released The Boys in japan after debut, and it sold 140,000 copies in Japan, and Hoot about 170,000 copies.... Of course, it was thx to TVXQ.... Lol, you have to realize Girls Generation did not do all of this in Japan just by themselves....
  13. First of all, TVXQ are the greatest Korean act to venture in Japan. Second of all, Girls Generation never managed to overcome TVXQ's heyday in Japan (2008-2010). It was the era where TVXQ was always top 3 in artist revenue, being 2nd in revenue just behind Arashi in Japan.... I have to admit TVXQ's "public support" fell after the split, but before the split, their singles have reached double platinum in digital sales.... TVXQ was literally popular in Japan. When I say popular I mean TVXQ = Exile = Arashi = AKB48 during 2008-2010. The reason why Girls Generation managed to sell 860,000 copies for their first album was largely due to the kpop awareness, and the people's interest in kpop after TVXQ's split. I say this repeatedly, but it was because of TVXQ's presence that made this possible.... Kind of like Psy in the United States during 2012.... It was a brief popularity, but stopped a year later....
