Indeed also if it was... It's only morally wrong, as long as they don't have been assigned a copyright then no amount of cursing at Cube or the girls will make them lose their grip on the achieved money. Don't know mostly only music video, as in the video footage, are copyrighted. Not the song persé... Well yes if they created a whole new music genre but even then if it ain't a total copy nopes people can keep being butthurt

It's just the fact people go around talking about plagiarism and royalties when it's not even considered as copyright enfringement if the person who outed the first work hasn't been assigned copyright. Plagiarism has no legal bound and thus is not punished by law and is just morally wrong, not to mention a work is considered plagiarised if more than 20% of it is a total copy. So the economics student in me keeps suffering from a twitching eye every time netizens throw around those words loselly and it happens way too much in kpop

Knife party, such a shame... i listen to Knife Party yet I didn't even make the relation and still don't hear how one and the other can be seen as a copy. If anything at some point the songs do sound similar but at the same time the tune is tone is different don't know how to even explain it, still there is a similitude but it still sounds totally different in a weird way.. On another note, people should learn what "copyrights, plagiarising etc" really mean, the word is thrown around too easily on the net and mostly when it comes to kpop I've seen
