telling people to talk by PM about certain subjects and to delete their messages isn't censoring? please i'm way past the age of caring about other people's opinions, especially when it's just typical anti/troll threads, so it doesn't hurt me or anything and no one should be hurt about things like that either, it's so common and happens to literally every fandom... shrug it off and not everyone knows who or wants to PM, like people who haven't been around for long or that don't post often or even fans that are just lurking and don't post... and it would only contribute to making the thread less active. Creating a PM is just creating a private clique and isolating other users. -
i already knew the answer, it was more of a rhetorical question and i just don't think it's a valid argument to censor people, that's all. there are tons of anti threads all the time about every group... people recognize anti threads, they get negged and it doesn't really do any harm. yeah i guess it's annoying as a fan but at the end of the day, everyone knows that it's just clickbait threads and they tend to be closed and deleted anyway. what's really annoying though is going to a group thread and seeing deleted messages and unsaid/taboo things and none of it is pleasing or welcoming tbh who's the "we" anyway? there wasn't any voting or whatever on the subject, it's just an arbitrary decision taken by some members.

bad ideas to bad people? if you're talking about antis then they don't need to read the thread to get bad ideas, they do just fine on their own i don't get why fans should censor themselves on this thread, they didn't even say anything wrong, just that they're worried about taehyun leaving... which is one of the possibilites for Winner's future. Some fans don't have anyone outside the thread to talk about things like this... if it helps them to talk about it, then they should be able to without other fans trying to censor them just because they don't want to hear about it or are worried it may happen and everything was put under spoiler anyway so...

I don't know what YG expected with his statement tbh... it doesn't answer anything. Actually, it brings a LOT more questions than before... what happened? what's his condition? is he really ill? will he ever recover? is he ok with this announcement? why did he move out the dorm? why undefinite hiatus? will the members have to wait forever? where do we draw the line between waiting and moving on? it's endless tbh

does anyone know when their contracts expire? there used to have a list of everyone in YG and their expiring dates but i can't find it

yeah and the fact that YG releases this statement randomly and puts the focus on Taehyun's mental health... considering how Korea views mental health issues... and basically said "we don't know if he will ever recover"... there's something else and this is just the beginning.

i'm not buying it tbh not that he may suffer from mental health issues but the whole YG statement out of nowhere... the way it's worded... nah, there's something else and YG is probably trying to cover his ass like he did before with other people under YG

I think the only real close friends in the group are Mino and Seungyoon. They said themselves they were the closest and they go out together all the time. The others don't. It doesn't mean they dislike each others or anything but they're still a made up group, you can't really expect them to all be close friends irl.

am i the only one who thinks YG picks songs at random at the very last moment? i don't think he tells them "ok so Taehyun will do E, Seungyoon X, Mino I..." etc so i don't think you can tell who is going to be the main composer for their next mini... every release from YG since last year is all over the place with no consistency. Even BB. & even if Seungyoon is the one working on songs right now, there's no guarantee YG will pick his songs. They were talking about X way back in March saying it was an upbeat song and all but nothing ever came out and now they're working on X again when it's clear they had already composed X back then... it just got scrapped and now they have to do it all over again. YG does seem to favor Taehyun's compositions though, ever since their debut so he might just choose his songs again for X.

the kids he sponsors are from africa i think so it can't be them. i think he doesn't know his father or at least doesn't talk to him anymore... there are different versions about his past/childhood like in some interviews it says he never met his father/his father left when he was like 1 year old and in other interviews it says his parents divorced when he was around 10 so who knows tbh i didn't have time to backtrack the thread for ages but if it hasn't been posted and someone is curious, i'm talking about these pics from yesterday or two days ago it seems (at the baby he's holding bday party):
