[NEWS] 160310 Zico, grinding his teeth for BLOCK B’s Comeback.. "Working 120 hours a week" Group BLOCK B’s leader Zico is working without any rest for the upcoming team comeback. BLOCK B is planning to release a single this month and release a mini album in the middle of April. After July 2014’s release of ‘HER’, this is a comeback after 20 months. As a leader of the group who are to comeback as a ‘complete group’, Zico is spending his days as busy ever. Being the leader and the producer, he is showing the determination to show BLOCK B’s proper image this time. Zico has distinguished himself as solo artist. With his song ‘Boys & Girls’ from his first solo album ‘Gallery’, he received the Artist of the Year award (Music Category) in November at the Gaon Chart Kpop Awards. Whilst this year, he has swept across various charts with his song ‘You are me, I am you’. He showed that he had a lot of potential, not just as BLOCK B’s Zico but also as ‘Solo Zico’. One may even view this as Zico striving for his own solo activities more than BLOCK B’s activities. Zico says he wishes to break such views. Even more, with the group activities this time, he states that he wishes to properly imprint ‘BLOCK B’ into the Kpop world. Zico is already well known to being addicted to work, much close to a ‘workaholic’. In order to work on songs, he is famous for locking himself up in a room. He let us know that for the group comeback, he is currently working 5 days a week without any rest. Even in those 5 days, as expected he’s working close to 24 hours a day showing the workload. It seems he is working close to 120 hours a week. A representative from his company, SevenSeasons stated to StarNews that ‘Zico is gritting his teeth properly for BLOCK B’s activities this time’ as well as, ‘He’s seriously working without any rest. Compared to the success as solo Zico, he wishes to achieve greater success through BLOCK B’s upcoming comeback activities.’

I think people really like the aesthetics of the MV. It's very visually pleasing and was promoted on a couple western music sites, which very well could have upped it's views. But I love his singing voice too, and this MV is my fav of his solo MVs!

BLOCK B COMEBACK IN MARCH!!!!! Block B will be making a comeback soon! According to an affiliate, Block B is currently preparing a new album and is planning to release it in March. Leader Zico will be in charge of producing the album as usual, as well as other members participating in the process. Block B members have been focused on their individual activities till now. Zico appeared on “Show Me the Money 4″ as a judge and proved himself to be a talented producer through his solo album. The other members have been busy appearing on various variety shows and focusing on acting. Fans have been patiently waiting as the members continue working on their albums along with their other promotions. This will be their comeback in a year and seven months after their “HER†album released in July of 2014. Block B also plans to appear in a new cable variety show along with the release of their upcoming album. Block B’s agency Seven Seasons stated, “It is true that they are preparing a comeback album, but the exact release date has not been confirmed yet.†(x)
