Stopping by to say, WOW!
I haven't been back here in a while and I found myself lost in backtracking, looking back at the different eras of Shinhwa that we experienced in this thread. It really sucked up a chunk of my time going through several pages of our fangirling and vocal analysis and flailing and perving for certain ones of us lol! I was 24/25/26 during peak traffic of this thread...and I just turned 30 last month. My how time goes by! Even the typing styles back then had me lolling. Good times. Good to see that as recent as 2018, we still had people stopping by and chatting about the then comeback.
Idk what Shinhwa has in store for us now, I figure Minwoo is lying low a bit in reflection since his incident. But I hope one day soon we can see another comeback from our legends. I know Eric has a new drama coming up for next year. Hyesung still has his solo stuff going on which is great. Dongwan wrapped up a drama earlier this year (which was a delight!) and Idk about Andy and Junjin, but I'm sure they're keeping busy.
We're almost at the end of a DECADE, can you believe it? It was pretty cool to know that after military duty, Shinhwa was active for most of this decade. I hope they thrive for many more years.

Funny Shinhwa Changjo reacting to haters:
This is AWESOME!

Its more like they tries to live better life. You can see proffesor Cho havent changed that much and still tries to push kids but Seunghye always threatens him with leaving.
JinJin and her husband changed way before the final episode. Since the begining they werent bad, just searching their ways.
Hwang family is still the same.
Myungjoo's husband list everything and waited 2 yrs until his son was about to talk to him.
Yeseo is still anxious about her studies but she's trying new ways, which is good. But she was forced to do so. Suhjin still went as far as offering her new academy and coach right away. Her father changed cause he killed his own daugther and the grandma just dont want her son to cut contact.
Imo they havent changed that much in a cheesy way as most people claim. To me its more like New Years Resolutions. Everybody tries but its actually open if they will live according to it even aftera year or such.
ALL of this.
It wasn't..."yay we're all brilliant and peachy now~~" Everyone is still wading through new territory.

imo killing hyena ruined the rest of the show. the show just got weird once woojoo was put in jail; i thought i was watching a slice-of-life melodrama about education and status in korea and then all of a sudden it's a detective show. i think the writer's brains fell out once they got the approval for the extra 4 episodes. sorry not sorry.
Yet that was the twist that kinda put the drama over the edge from mundane slice-of-life...I guess the variety of human opinion lol

LOL we're so used to the drama that we don't know how to take a subdued ending xD
I was satisfied tbh. Class drama.

Arashi though breaking in the new stadium! Bosses only!

I just finished Legend of the Blue Sea (upon my boyfriends's prompting lol...we made a deal; I watch the fluffym romantical Legend of the Blue Sea, he watches the gritty SKY castle).
-
The finale is tomorrow...mannnnnnn I wonder what's going to happen!

-
*sigh * I saw the news...
Poor guys probably just need a break. It'll be tough tho...

Just watched Ep 19!
They did a great job of beginning to solve everything while still leaving you wondering, "oh crap...there's sumn else left to go down before this ends, isn't there???"
Yeseo and Seojin pleasantly surprised me. I thought they were going to try to drown it out and press on...but they have consciences after all. They did good, I was pleased. Husband was also happy. They have a rough road ahead of them, but they can do it.
I wonder though if when Kim Jooyoung is done, Suhjin will end up in prison too...I wonder if she'll still wreck the family...

Now we have the same age
.
Oh haaaayy~~~ grown folks!

is this drama worth a watch? I've heard buzz about it a lot recently.
Yes, yes it definitely is.

Also this stretch to increase tension and maximise ratings LOL! Delay because of football and show only one episode this week, making everyone be super anxious for the finale next week. Ah the strategies.

How are they still that adorable????
-
Same! They've come such a long way~~

Ratings through the roof!!
Also, Suhjin is hopeless, I see nothing but the bitter end for her...at least her husband still had some sense of shame.

honestly i've been into kpop since 2008 but i've only got addicted to shinhwa this month and i can't get enough of them jfc. i feel like i missed a shit tons of fun.

backtracking their 20 years worth of career just now feels so daunting but i'm having a lot of fun lmao. these men are seriously the best.

LOL! WELCOME!

I'm hearing that the script writer for Sky Castle also wrote Bridal Mask. If this is true it makes ALL THE SENSE!!! I literally haven't been this invested emotionally in a kdrama since Bridal Mask.

Wow...I got into a whole rabbit hole of old Shinhwa stuff and found myself missing them overwhelmingly.
It's good to know One Hallyu and this thread are still here lol! All of our Changjo crew is gone though T^T
